Customer service was not that great the sales person was on her cell phone. The 6X12 trailer I rented was not clean. The customer service was not what I have gotten in the past few times l have been there. The sales person who took my trailer in on return was not very friendly and moved as slow as he possibly could.



Refuse to refund and have call customer service which never refund and block my number. Very bad experience

Reserving the truck over the phone wasn't so bad, even though when I arrived some of my info was incorrect. Even my email that the employee said I would receive, I didn't get. Had to call back the next day. When I picked up the truck the young man was unprofessional. Handed me my contract and told me to find the truck myself. It was several trucks out there. Told me the keys will be under the front bumper. I had to ask him to show me the truck. I also had to wait, because he couldn't find the keys from the start. He called someone to ask where the key was. He knew I wasn't please because, when he handed me the contact he said the truck number on the contract. I said, I have to walk around and look for the truck and try to find the keys under a bumper, he said yes. I don't feel like as a customer spending money at this company, I should not have to wonder around in a lot with several trucks that all look alike, looking for numbers on a piece of paper. He didn't even show where the numbers on the contact was. So basically, I'm spending money and doing his job. They lady which was an employee didn't speak as I walked in nor him. I walked in said good morning. Another customer walked in while he was trying to locate the keys, they didn't a knowledge him either. Lack of customer service, and will not spend money with this company again. Front tire of the u haul was low on the passenger side. I made sure I took pictures of that, so the unprofessional employees wouldn't blame me for it!!! And yes I let the employee know when I returned the truck that the tire was low, she asked me did the truck give me a warning. I told her no, it's visible you can look at it. So I knew then nothing was going to be done about it.

Kelly is fantastic! I couldn't be happier with my experience. I highly recommend the Fultondale, AL location for moving truck rental and storage needs.



My original location (5 miles from my home) was confirmed less than 24 hours from pickup. When I arrived for pickup (not before) I was informed the location had changed to over 30 miles away (Fultondale). This was poor customer service. When I called the Traffic department to ask for the consideration of getting a "same location" drop off rate like in my original contract but return at the initial reservation location near my home I was told that was not an option and I'd have to pay the "one way" fee. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold and transferred back into the normal U-haul Customer Service call rotation. Luckily, I was connect to Joseph Episcopo, who also baffled why I was connected with him, called Traffic back himself and spoke with them for me and negotiated a lower rate for me. If all your employees were like Joe, you'd have a much higher customer experience. Unfortunately, the way you run your business makes me only use your service when I absolutely have no other option. The people working your facilities are very helpful, but when I asked why reservations were changed last minute the quote I got was "I'm very sorry. They always do that to people." As a customer I expect to be treated like one. The people in the field understand that, the people in your call center (except Joe) treat you like an inconvenience. They should not forget, we the customer are the reason they have a job. Had I been communicated to in advance and an effort made to help me with the change, my experience would have been A+.

Fultondale has come a long way yaul! Btw, this place is way better than the Mexican Rest. that also rents Uhauls. And this place sells propane that doesn't stink. Amazin !!

The person at the counter didn't greet us, or try to be personable. He snapped at the computer several times and make being there rather uncomfortable. He was not helpful when the reservation didn't show I had purchased mattress covers. Instead of offering to help, he suggested he "could cut me a deal" because he'd hate for me to pay full price elsewhere.

The young lady told me I could return the truck at 9:15 the next morning but was contacted and was told the truck was supposed to have been returned 9:15 the same night. I was charged almost a hundred extra dollars because of her mistake.
