I was charge a gas feed. I actual put more gas then was actual in there when I picked the trucked up. I returned the truck on time @ 9:17. I received a call from someone at 10:12am asking what time was I returning with the truck. I explained I returned it on time. She stated hold on let me check. I suggested she should have checked before she called.

ALI TThey changed my time from 7am to 10am I went to pick up my truck at the western location and they told me they didn’t have It and they changed It to a Gardena location. I wanted total of 3 hours from one place to the other. I finally got checked in and the receptionist couldn’t find the keys to the truck. She gave me another truck which It was extremely dirty, the back was wet, smelled, dusty. My equipment and furniture got sticky dark type of oil on them. It Is unacceptable to have such bad management of the store. Poorly trained and under staff. I had the most horrible experience on to of the stress of packing.

CHRISTOPHER BThe location is understaffed, the equipment was not ready at the time of pick up. I had to wait almost 2 hrs to get a trailer because they dis not have cables for the taillights. We were told it would be 15-30 mins to get the cable, 2 hrs latter we still had not gotten our trailer. This is busy place. We waited 20 minutes in line to be told theu didn't have a cable. They should know these things before renting and waisting my time. Will I rent from here again? Probably, it is the closest to me. Will I try to avoid this place? If I can, definitely. By the way. This is not the first time I have had a problem at this store.
ALBERTO JThe girl presented me with an incorrect bill for $137.95, she did not tell me her name, after which I contacted another employee Danis, telling him about the problem, he double-checked, made a remark to that girl and wrote me a new bill for $80.07 and gave it to me on paper, I have it. The next day I saw a withdrawal of money in my bank for both amounts, I called the company's office and spoke with Nelen, a polite girl, they confirmed $80.07, I spoke with, and yesterday they withdrew $137.95 from my account twice incorrectly. I have been here for more than 20 years, I have never had this happen, please sort it out!

DWAYNE BDo not block HC parking. That is illegal and inconsiderate. Please be willing to move trucks to make sure those spaces are always accessible. Maybe hire more workers to make that possible.

ERVIN HReturning was not good. Was pointed to the back to return the trailer. Put it in a spot. No one came. Unhooked it all myself. No one came. Drove to the front and spoke to the two guys outside. Asked that it get checked in. I was told it already was. Drove away. A few hours later, noticed no e-mail receipt from U-haul. Called in to have it checked in. Told they'd check it out. Put on hold for 10+ minutes and no return to me on hold. Hung up. Next morning, received a return e-mail around 8:58 am. I don't want to waste all that time trying return a trailer and to not get charged for multiple days as has happened before.

JOE WThe worst customer service. While waiting to check in people cut in line. The clerk did nothing. One person stepped in and i think was a friend of the clerk as she assisted with them in making a DoorDash order. Once i completed check in the next set of directions were confusing. Proceeding to the parking lot not a sole was there to give directions or assistance. When dropping off, again no one was around. Went inside and several employees were just standing and chatting. When ask for guidance regarding dropping off they just said "just leave your keys" The whole experience was bizarre
KEVIN AReserved vehicle wasn’t available. Staff unprofessional. Replacement vehicle had multiple unaddressed vehicle maintenance warnings and a mild alignment issue.

VERONICA S | Overall ExperienceWe arrived at 4:30 to deliver the truck, the person who was at the place to receive the truck is very rude and ignorant, he told us that we have to do it in line and he began with his rude attitude, we told him that it was his job and he began to yell at us and offend us with his language, we do not have the time or the education that he has, but he continued yelling at us all the way to the car. At the end of the day he did not do his job, I do not know if he is homophobic or is simply racist and has a lot of resentment about the job that he has, the only thing I can say is that if he does not like it, he should look for something where he likes and can be happy because I do not believe that this type of work is his ideal job, he is very rude He’s not deserve to be helping people you guys need to find a better job for him this it’s bad for your business we rent a truck every 2 weeks and we do not deserve this treatment
ANDRES MFuel issue. The paper work claims the gas tank was at 1/4 tank, which looked right. I brought back the vehicle with the same amount of fuel, but during checkout, it claim it was at 1/8 tank -- charging me an additional $30. My frustration hit a peak, as everything else was smooth a transition. I only drove 22 miles and fueled up tank with 3.5 gallons - more than enough.
BRANDON DThere was a long line but the two workers did all they could to keep it moving swiftly. They were fast paced, accurate and helpful. They answered any and all questions asked. All in all I would say it was a job well done!
Tanikia BScheduled online for a Tuesday, I showed up on Tuesday morning and was greeted with "Nobody called you?" and my appointment was moved to Friday with no regard to my schedule. I return on Friday and they are still surprised to see me, asking me who I spoke with and that they would need to call the hitch installer to let him know he has my appointment today. Then I'm told the hitch installer will call me when they are done. At 6:15PM I've heard nothing and finally call THEM (they close at 8) because based on the quality of the experience I had so far, I couldn't rely on them sticking to their word.

CLIFTON WI have experienced the very best customer service with U-Haul at every stage. I had originally rented a Budget truck & tow dolly for an out of state move. Their equipment didn’t function as intended nearly thwarting my moving timeline. The staff at Nashville went above and beyond! The staff at Gardena were exceptionally helpful as well. Using U-Haul was like having a very competent team with me along the entire moving process. I didn’t feel that with Budget. It seemed like I was given equipment but safety checks like U-Haul does were non-existent. That and the three calls to get the credit card charge reversed, have reminded me to never look elsewhere for moving needs. U-Haul is definitely the one stop shop I’ll recommend.

ADELAIDA MI reserved a u-haul for the day requested. When I get there there were only two workers with a line full of people l. I had already scheduled a reservation but when I made it to the front, they told me there weren’t any dolly’s available which was confusing since I reserved furniture pads , a dolly, and furniture pads. I was assured that all the equipment would be available and ready and was already included in my truck when making the reservation. That wasn’t the case when I got there. Next, I had to wait an additional period of time until the driver came back with the rental. Overall, this was unacceptable and very much poorly organized.

JAZMIN TUpon arrival we had to wait in line while one teller assisted everyone. Once it was our turn, ms Amaya told us we may not use two cards to purchase this rental - even though I made sure to inquire regarding this with a live agent days before the booking. Luckily ms Tamara on the customer service line was able to assist me with this. Once we retrieved the truck, we noticed it was driving towards the left side. This has presented us with a difficult travel overall - we decided to not report this in fear we could not proceed with our move. Once we arrived to our drop off location, we were told that we are not allowed to complete our drop off at this selected location - a customer service rep was able to complete this. Customer service line instructed us to drive an hour away just to drop it off, and they said they would provide us with $50 and then $100 credit. I believe for the stress this has caused is this amount is absurd. Our entire day was ruined and I had to hire a friend to help me drop off so I could return to Estes Park. So uhaul owes me for two vehicle gas expenses as well as my time and energy. Horrible service. Inconsistency amongst uhaul dealers. A headache!!!!

He canceled the second floor unit which I had to climb stairs to get to (elevator needed at this facility). I really appreciate the extra mile the staff to to assist me in my storage needs. This was my first storage experience and I would definitely recommend this location to everyone in need of a unit.

The cashier charged my card before telling me the total of my cost!! The staff whispered to the manager “Does she know the mileage came to $200?” The manager said to him, “she should.” Not once speaking to me to confirm they charged me $890! I’m so disgusted by the staff and manager at Gardena, I would never recommend anyone or return for service! I hope this email goes to the upper management; because you have very bad customer service, neglected to inform me of the total charges, and basically charged my card before I could confirm the card to use. I will be calling the corporate offices.

So we had to go rent a space at Public Storage, whose rates were a LOT less for a better space and they do have elevators, as well as flat bed carts and Dollie’s. I will NEVER rent a storage space from U-Haul again after this fiasco! By the way, the staff at the Gardena facility was snotty with me on the phone and when my son got there he realized this was the same facility that he had trouble with before and sent a complaint to corporate about years ago. Obviously nothing was done to correct the problem.

Talmadd T | Overall ExperienceThe complaint is not with the facility that provided the Storage Unit... My complaint is with the U-HAUL scheduling & reservation system... It all was an "inconvenient mess"..! I had to call several times... The pick up facility for the truck rental was un-able to be contacted due to a disconnected phone number... I called the day before my pick up to affirm my reservation and re-assess my contractual agreement... I spoke to several agents in the "Transportation Center" several times the morning of the pick up and got another disconnected number... My CC was charged $30 more than what I was quoted over the phone by the reservation agent despite a very intentionally adamant conversation with the agent regarding that specific issue (i.e. Amount due at pick up). The person who did the contract at the facility for the pick up (a young lady) never asked for my signature and just did everything for my pick up of the truck on her phone... And, upon arrival to the storage facility the unit that I was quoted was not available when I got to the storage facility so I had to accept a different unit (a more expensive one). Throughout this entire experience I was making several phone calls to the "Transportation Center" and then the "Customer Service Center" and practically every time these calls were put on long "wait-time holds" and when finally connected to a live person the calls were disconnected..! This entire experience should be easily documented & confirmed as it is noted in all of these calls that you (i.e. U-HAUL) record these phone calls... I am truly displeased with this experience and I tried calling your "Customer Service" several times the following day to submit this grievance but just as during this experience, I was unable to speak with any of your agents... I am in a profession that is compelled to be diligent in customer service in order to perpetuate the further continuance of repeat & referral business so this was an appalling experience for me as this kind of "ball dropping" would be totally unacceptable..! I would appreciate it if someone would reach out to me in an effort to rectify this matter.

When I got the the facility it was all different the lady at the storage said she did not see the reservation in the system and the lady was very rude. The storage facility does not have a elevator so I have to carry all my items up the stairs. What is up with this? I am happy I got the one month free but it really was a ordeal that I did not want to deal with. I would think twice about going to this storage facility again it was to much work .
