This place is well organized and they have a variety of services, including moving materials and propane refills. They helped me unhook my auto transport with minimal wait time.

Please remove the woman in the front that took my order down I came in at 10am 04/07/18, she had a very bad attitude, someone with such a bad attitude shouldn’t be in front as customer service. She had no enthusiasm and he attitude was horrible.

Hi Eric, I scheduled a uhaul and upon scheduling it I asked for a fuel efficient truck, I was told all the trucks were 8 cylinder and was offered a 6 cylinder van. When I came in to pick up the van at 10am, I was then told that all the vans are 8 cylinder just like the trucks and that I could go somewhere else. I called the Cust. Service line and again was told that the vans were in fact 6 cylinder. I told this to the uhaul guy Doug who told me that the vans were all 8 cylinders, and he said yes they were 6 cylinder... Because of this I had to wait about 1 hour due to being on the phone and other customers being helped before me. So I did not even get inside the van until 11am. About 2 hours later I had accidentally locked the single key I was given in the van, the door had blown shut by the wind. I called and waited an hour for a service guy to come and when he showed up he was in a Mercedes. After looking though his car for about 45 mins, he told me he had forgot to bring what he needed to unlock the van. So I then called my own AAA roadside assistance and they were able to open the van in a matter of minutes after arriving. This wasted about 3 hours of my day that I was supposed to be spending moving. The next morning Dough called me at 10:30 am saying I needed to return the van and that I would be charged for an additional day... even though it wasn’t 11am yet. I told him I would keep them van until tomorrow if I was going to have to pay for it anyway. He then told me I had to bring it back because he needed it for other customers. Basically, saying he’s going to charge me for a full day, then rent the same van out, for the same day I was being charged for and get paid double. I don’t need this van for another day but if I am going to have to pay for it I don’t see why I should have to bring it back early? I asked to talk to the manager and apparently doug is the manager. In any event, I am very dissatisfied with my experience, especially given that I will be paying a lot of money approximately $300 for the rental since I drove it a lot. I honestly just want to return this van and be done with it. I’ve tried calling 1800 uhaul and ended up on hold for 30 mins, and eventually just hung up

The cashier possibly manager was unprofessional. Not friendly, not giving more info based on my questions. He was trying to force insurance on the rental truck I rented after I said no, then made a joke that i can crash and then wish i had it. Will not go back here again. Poorly run.

From ordering my rental online to talking to 6 different people to seeing if I can get a bigger truck and then my uncle getting one anyway. My day was heavily delayed, this location was my last stop. But overall UHaul has given me the WORST customer experience in my life. I will never use their services again. Also I was told I could get reimbursed $50 cash, I didn't get and now have to drive 30 miles to the location that messed up my order to redeem a credit ( as I was told) No one seems to be on the same page as far as communication, company policies, rules or fluidity for their customers.

They are not accommodating at all. Not a smile in the place. Long lines, even tho everyone did express check in or out. "The system" wont allow for flexibly. They didn't offer any options is issues arose. I'm going to pay more somewhere else, next time. So sad.

It was a Sunday. Many people were in line and it was only Jeremy there to attend to us all. He was very personable and very perfessionable. Yet most of the others were getting irritated for having to wait so long. No one was outside.

I was called telling me the pick-up location had changed (about 10 miles away) just before I got there I got a call saying it was the orginal location (no problem I said I would be late due to the change) as I am driving I got a call saying I had a late pick-up time..I knew that >> I see NO reason for the second call when I was covered in the second call from U-Haul..

first of all, when i walked into the entrance, no one greeted us. i said good morning with smile, no one responded it. it was really embarrassing. the guy i talked with was not kind and not helpful. didn't explain anything about car, contract, anything. i didn't even have time to ask because he went to outside and crabbed a car for me. then he just handed a key and left. he didn't even check my drivers license. inside of the car is dirty. old craft box is inside . (not uhaul box, previous customer left those for sure) candies are by the seat melting causes uncomfortable smell and sticky. back lights are broken, many other trashes are inside . car quality is really good conpare to the cheap price. I really appreciate its price and huge back door. easy to drive and really handled well. for the last, when i returned it, there was no explanation again. so i had to go to the guy and ask what should i do.

The cab of the truck was unclean. Before I set out I had to use desinfectact wipes on the surfaces (dash, stirring wheel, cup holders) and they were black/brown from all the residues (spilled drinks)

The people that work there are not very kind. They act like you should be lucky they are renting you a truck. I received nothing but attitude from the guy that I picked up the truck from. I almost just walked out. He was very RUDE. No way would I have someone working for me that treated my customers like he did!! Very disappointing !! Then when I dropped the truck off I had questions about the charges and I was told that he didn't have time to go over the charges right now and started helping the next person. I waited 30 min for him to explain the charges to me. I will never rent from this location again.

the customer service was great! the computer system went down during the check process and the staff n on dity mgr where great in msking situation a great one for myself and the other customers. they take pride in customer service! great experience and would recommend this location over any others in the area.

I made a reservation for a trailer at the location near my house on Hawthorne near PCH. I then got a message saying my reservation had been moved to the far side of town. So I drove to that location and was told that even though they could see that I had a reservation, they had given away all their trailers! They then told me that I had to drive two more towns further away if I wanted one. I had no choice as I had to have it for a little league parade the next morning. I asked if there were any closer and they said there could be but their system could only give them the ones at the U-Haul centers and not at any of the independent U-Haul dealers all around town. So I made the drive in traffic to the even further location in order to get a trailer I had reserved just 3 miles from my house. When I got there they had one trailer left and all of the side rails were bent and the floor had huge dents in it. In addition it had sand and rocks in it. I had to have it so I towed it all the way home then spent the evening cleaning out the dirt and rocks so that 6 year olds could sit in it the next morning. The next day I returned it about 3 hours late due to the fact that I did not want my kids riding all that way in my truck so I had to take them all the way back home before starting what turned out to be almost an hour long drive to return the trailer. I was told I was not allowed to return it to the center located just 5 minutes from my house? And since you are not allowed to drive faster than 55 with the trailer I had to take side streets all the way to the center to return it. When I explained why I was late to the return guy he could care less and charged me for a full two days even though I had the trailer for about 27 hours. So I paid over $80 to rent a small trailer for essentially one day. A trailer that was bent, dented and rusted and dirty. From now one my friends and I will use Penske or United or Enterprise or Home Depot - anyone except U-Haul.

Not have you make employee Anthony bellmar treat a customer with such a nasty disrespectful attitude his behavior towards me as a woman was aggressive and disgusting but from his lack of concern on whether I told his supervisor about his behavior leads me to believe it’s a leadership that not only condone such behavior also lacking to teach them to give world class service to every customer and not use aggressive tones and body language to women that spends thei revenue like every one else. I will never use this company again and I have told any ear that could listen about the horrific behavior of your employee.. awful

Yard man could not locate the tow dolly that was called out on the contract and had go back inside and redo the contract for a tow dolly that was on the lot. The tow dolly had a cut the crossed three of the four wires exposing the copper. The yard man connect the wiring up and checked the lights and all worked. He did not come back to fix the wires.

Horrible service. I called and ask questions and when I got to the location all the information was incorrect. I couldn't get a printed receipt it was supposed to emailed to me, never was. I called only to find out the email I have was not imputed correct the person on the phone corrected it and emailed it to me but was very rushed to get off the phone when I had questions. I went back to the location and was then able to get a printed receipt and in the receipt it said I was going to LA I so I said "my receipt says I'm going to LA but I told you I am going to Victorville and will be leavong the truck there the staff just shook head and said yes. I was very clear that I would be driving to Victorville and leaving the truck there. I ask if that was ok and will I be charged more? I was told no and the price on the receipt was what it was including fees and taxes. But when I got to Victorville I was told that I went over the mileage and I was suppose to drop the truck off in LA! I was NEVER told anything about mileage and like I said previously I'm leaving the truck in Victorville.

the handheld device used for express pickup and drop off doesn't work so i had to go stand in line and the line takes forever so i had to figure out how to do the self check out procedure which is also a headache. bottom line if you offer express check out get better technology.

Parking. Eliminate hidden fees. My 19.95 rental turned into 74+ dollars for 2.75 hours and I returned with > required fuel and 1 hour 1 minutes early and you still raked me over the coals. Never again, and never will I recommend you to anyone.

I needed access 2 days and staff was accommodating and courteous. The Box arrived at destination 5 days earlier than estimated!! I did not need the blankets but there were plenty if I did. I would recommend this location to anyone in South Bay/southwest Los Angeles, and my experience using U-Box exceeded expectations.

Hell no a bunch of lying thieves. This is for uhaul in general. Uhaul and it's employees I've talked to have all blown smoke and false advertise. From CORPORATE to retail shop everyone is corrupt and can't tell the truth. I just got freaking robbed by uhaul for its illegitimate business practices. BBB will have a report on uhauls false advertisement, treatment of customer and overcharging for services not rendered.

The truck I rented was nice - exactly what I'd expect. The problem was I got a truck with less than 1/4 of gas. The lady at the front desk said the tank was at a 1/4, but then the guy (who walked slower than anyone I've ever seen) said the tank was at 3/8. That left me with 2 issues. 1. I had to get gas before I even started packing the truck because I was worried I wouldn't have enough gas to get home and 2. I needed to add a whole lot more gas before I dropped off the truck when I finished.

I called a day before for reservation a 17" Truck. They said the truck was there at the pickup station. However, there wasn't the 17" Truck and the usual excuse 'the customer didn't show up with truck" and you can take 15" truck. You left me without a choice. I don't blame the Gardena store but shame on the reservation .

From the moment I walked in at this location the attandent was rude ! Then I told her I needed to drop off the U-Haul in Orange County and she tells me the onlybuhaul available is a 10’ , she pointed at the the picture when I asked the price and it said 19.99 then after she does the contract she said is over $100 because I am dropping in OC which she never specified before . When I told her that I would rather bring it back she gives me a bigger attitude and gets mad because she needed to start again!!! That’s her JOB ! Then when I return the truck the manager wants to charge me $100 I explained that the lady with the attitude said I had Free 37’miles ; he said there is not such of thing and that she must not have explained right . He asked me what she had told me but kept interrupting me as I try to answer his question then he also gives me attitude . So I just said “ok let me just pay for it “ so I can go, then he became better after a few minutes of weird silence . This people should never be working with customers . Specially the lady I had yesterday . She gives people a look that says it all

This is the place that is stating different company policies in which even employees from CORPORATE didn't even know of. And not honoring a reservation that was set by a uhaul employee and still the van Ness location will not honor what uhaul is advertising. No one within uhaul has been able to help and I've been stuck with a truck sitting in a uhaul parking lot still loaded with my belongings unable to get it into a storage unit.

I have a very bad experience. Today, I have rental a truck. When I return it, I have run 38 miles and add 4 gallon gas (same level before I rental it), then return it, the inspection guy, while checking the truck while playing mobile phone game. the gas meter showing 7/16 (I have took a photo), but the guy writing down 3/8. I have bring the paper going to inside desk, told the lady, I just running 38 miles, I putting 4 gallon gas already. She lets me talk with manager (but he's work off), then printing the receive. I saw the paper charge me $12.35 for the 2.6 gallon gas, it's no fair. I argue with she, she said I told her I add $4 gas, and she said asked me whether to gas station, I said no, but I never said that. she's Lier. I'm very dissatisfied. I will come back tomorrow to talk with the manager to showing my photo, and let the manager to take look the room video.

I am just hoping that the staff didn't give anyone any information out about me. Shortly after I rented it, I had an unusual incident happen to me at the Arco gas station located at Rosecrans and Figueroa. This black woman pulled real close in front of me just as I was getting ready to leave, and so I had to back up to get out. Then she pulled forward again, right in front of me, and gets out of her car and starts screaming at me. She called me a BITCH and racist, and I didn't even do anything to her. I couldn't even who was in the car until the person got out of it. It was just bizarre and unprovoked.

This location Is very close to Z gallerie outlet, so it made my inpromtu purchase easy to deliver by myself. The only awkward and a bit of a turn off is having the guys who are cleaning the trucks have music at full blast while they do their job. I’m all for enjoying a bit of music as you work, but the volume was fully turned. This happened as I picked up my van and also when I dropped it off. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Dear Uhaul I had a bad experience that e entualy turned good. I reserved a 26ft 7 days in advance and you gave it away. No one called me even though it was reserved it was given away. Lucky for me and my customer I was referred to another location where the Truck was available. If in doubt about a reservation it would be courteous to reach out to the customer before giving the rental to the next one line.

How a $19.95 rental can turn into a $180 plus 24 rental is beyond my compression. This place is a total RIP off! Apparently more people are aware of this than me. Customer service is atrocious and appalling, would NEVER recommend to anyone. BE AWARE, wouldn't be surprised to see a class action suit being started. I recommend buying the highest level of insurance. I purchased only the I think it was called "Safemove." That was great because it did fully cover some damage to the truck, but it didn't cover damage when I cut a right turn too sharp into a moving storage gate and it took it off the rails. Be sure you get coverage against damage to third parties--I can't recall but maybe it's "Safemove Plus." My insurance wouldn't cover anything because the 26' van had 6 wheels. I never counted them. Check your own insurance carefully!

Staff was pretty polite. I requested a furniture dolly to rent. The image on the wall showed showed a short, full dolly with a backing and handle. The one I received was on a small rectangle with foue wheels. I did not realize this until I arrived at my location. However, when I asked the guy who brought the truck to do an inspection of thr truck, he said, "No, we don't have to do that. It's a new truck." I have never had anyone tell me that in the past. Had we conducted the inspection, I would have noticed the dolly. The truck also was nearly empty of gas. They deducted $18 while doing my contract.

The left wheel was almost rubbing against the rear of the wheel well while there was about four inches of clearance for the right wheel. Poor customer service. First time renting a truck. When I got there I had already made the online reservation and there were 3 employees standing there doing nothing. The lady at the counter seemed like she just did not want to be there and moved and attended the customer in front of me in a very slow and annoyed pace. 30 minutes later there was a line of 6 people still waiting it was past the time I ordered the truck to be ready and she finally got to me. She sighed like if it was so annoying to do her job. I told her I had reserved a truck and showed her my information and then I checked the truck number and it wasn't even the same one on the reservation I made. They gave me a dirty truck that smelled like dog inside. She didn't explain anything to me on how to return the truck and the guy who brought it over just said good luck. My husband and I looked at each other and said "well ok". So because of that when we returned the truck an hour before it was due the store was closed and we were trying to figure out how to check in the car. It wasn't until we dropped in the keys that we saw that we had to check it in online and put the mileage and take a picture of that as well. Now we know and we definitely know we won't be returning here at this location.

So i waited around for an hour for it to open, and the same guy that i asked at 7 am assisted me in getting the truck. The size truck (26') was not available anywhere in Long Beach, CA where I originally reserved the truck. I was sent to Gardena, CA where I was to pick up a 26' truck at 8am. There was no 26' foot available until 11:30am. I was moving a large home and needed a 26' truck. I was offered a 20' truck with an additional 30 miles. I was forced to make more trips exceeding the miles and rental days that came with the truck and the additional miles. I have rented many trucks from U-Haul, maybe it's time to try another truck rental company.

I know there's policies in place however make exceptions for loyal customers , I sure you can pull up the history with my name and credit card number . He was on his personal cell phone on social media and having a conversation with another employee about seafood when I walked up to be helped. I picked up the truck and the Lady I purchased the truck from said to return gas gage at full since that is what it currently is. I went a total of 14 miles on my receipt and I filled over 5 gallons of gas($16.20 at $2.99 per gallon) when I returned the truck. Does the truck get 3 miles per gallon? Person just said sorry, gage was probably a little under the full gage when I rented it and I should of noticed and told the worker. Could not help me. That was not right.

I've a comment on Uhaul's Rosemead location. A few days ago, I went and asked if I could rent a truck at Gardena to move things over and return the truck to Rosemead location, counter staff there told me yes I could do that, but fell short of telling me the price would be different if I chose not to return the truck to where I rented from. So yesterday I took 3 buses to get to their Gardena location to find out if I return the truck to Rosemead instead of Gardena, I've to pay $130, much more than the other way. I ended up spending 3 hours with buses to go to Gardena to get the truck, and another 3 hours to go back home after returning the truck to Gardena. In the past one and half years I rented Uhaul trucks for 6 times or more, and finally I feel Uhaul treated me like a jake, if not a fool! Ryder was much better in that, they simply told you all their trucks have to be returned to where they were rented.

The trailer lights were not working and I had to suggest to the gentleman to go get a tester to find out if it was the trailer or the connection from the car that wasn't working. Once that was quickly sorted out...he said I was "all set" and walked away to another customer (it was not busy, the other customer had just arrived and we were the only people on that lot at that time...hence, an extra 3-4 minutes seemingly wouldn't have been any inconvenience) without giving me any instructions whatsoever about how to pack the trailer for proper weight distribution, speed, increasing breaking distance or anything. My girlfriend ended up telling me all that information as she had received that briefing with an identical trailer she had rented a couple of years ago at Uhaul. That sort of indifference is not only bad customer service but could be damaging/dangerous for another person transporting belongings....

Because people trust that what they order is completed with the package delivery, they trust U-Haul to handle that side of it. A persons move could be for reason outside of location to location. A person that may be experiencing a death and dependent on you to handle this side of the deal because their head may not be all there but to have to come all the way back to the establishment is just not fair game. Thank you for taking the time to read my unfortunate mishap but overall, the service was outstanding.

Staff and general manager was helpful and very professional to me and my family.

The staff was rude and arguementive at me even in front of other customers. Questions asked by me no one new the answer. The attitude received from the staff makes a person not want to use uhaul.

The interbay and Rainier Ave uhauls were extremely helpful in seattle. In Torrence/Inglewood area Uhaul it was helpful besides an employee asking for money to help me move one couch into storage.
