I reserve the truck to drive 50+ miles but was given a truck with 1/4 tank of gas. It would have been cool if I had at least a 1/2 tank

First of all the man who work to this location is the worst I ever met in any u haul rental i ever made..!!i don't want to go to this location ever again ..!!my wife also spoke on the phone with somebody impolite and told me and I'm sure is the same man!!!i wanted to change the drop off location and have a new style trailer and when I called 3-4 days before my rental , a woman told me that you can do all these the day you pick up the trailer and ask for a new , but anyway all our equipment is new....when I get there the guy didn't want to give me a new (they were 3 new and 1 old there!!) , and try tell me excuses and spend almost an hour speaking, just to get the new one...and that I must tell this from the beginning, and I told him I called but a woman who works there obviously tell me that i can do it the same day..!!Anyway, I also ask to change my drop off location and he said I will be charge extra for that!!! I'm renting u haul almost every 1-2 months the last year and this never happened again!!! I always rent from a location and give back to other, with no additional charge!!! And I took it Friday at 7 and give back Sunday 20' after 7 , and they charged me 3 days.!!!!NEVER AGAIN TO THIS LOCATION

I was ripped off with the gasoline. I just drove 3 miles the gauge went down to 1 line. I only drove 40 miles and i have to put $11.00 to fill it up

Service is always great which is why I return to Van Ness U-Haul. The Cargo Van I rented could have used a quick spray of Febreeze or some kind of air freshener just as a nice touch. The driver seat had some stains on it....I imagine from the last murder? Anyway, I will be back.

Good thing they had to car haulers there that day. One wasnot clean which made me worry about its maintaince. Appearance always counts. The trailer I used was both clean and ready. The yard staff were well trained and courteous. The counter help was good when we picked it up but on return seem distracted Which don't give me the feel I was important. Over all see you again thanks.

Drivers light did not work, the hitch was broken . And we had to purchase additional magnetic lights just to get to our destination.

Everything went smoothly, except when it came time to fill the gas I couldn't find the nozzle so I just paid the convenience fee. Maybe have that explained to the customer so it's easier to find. Otherwise, awesome. Thanks!

The folks here would wonderful - there was a discrepancy with gas amount (wasn't checked by clerk when I picked it up) yet it was taken care of on this end so extremely grateful.

My only complaint has to do with our being charged an extra day even though I was told that we returned the truck less than an hour after it was due back. I understand that you have policies to maintain and yes, we were late, but I would have hoped there would be a modest grace period after the return time. Other than that, we are very satisfied with the vehicle and service we received from you guys.

The cashier as well as the guy working outside both seem stressed out they never smiled but overall at the very end they did end up helping me.

Staff at the location is lost and lazy. First, the guy at the receiving area asked me to drive around the building, away from the drop off designated area, to disconnect the trailer, simply because he did not want to push the trailer to the back. Second, he refused to sign me off, saying the lady in the office is the only one who could to so. In fact, he kept complaining that corporate keep sending them more trailers and trucks, pointing to the ones in the lot, saying they don't need them. If he is unsatisfied with the employer to the point of complaining to a customer he just met, he better find another job. Third, the lady at the counter looked at the notes in the system but did not want to call traffic to confirm what I told her. I called customer service few hours earlier asking to drop off in a different location, they transferred me to traffic and traffic told me to drop off at the Gardena location and said that they would not charge me, and told me that if the staff at the location said anything to tell them you spoke with traffic and they should call traffic for any issues. She refused to do so and simply said the system does not say anything about nor charging me, so she did charge me for dropping off in a different location. I called customer service to complain but at that time traffic office had just closed. Bottom line, the staff at this location is NOT customer oriented, they need training badly. They clearly don't like what they do!
