The truck had 150,000 miles on it, couldn't see to drive at night because the headlights were so dim, brake lights were barely noticable, that why I had the truck an extra day, could not drive the truck at night.Scott F.

The Representative at the counter was very helpful. I had a problem with a previous rental charge. She held the trailer until i got the issue resolved. Two other customers came in inquiring about the trailer, this was the only one left and she did not release it. This was great customer service at its best!!!!!Robin S.
Terrible customer service, they lie to you and don't like to answer the phone. They have poor leadership at the store. General Manager never answered his phone and doesn't return phone calls. I have to pay late fees cause of not able to pay over the phone. Equipment in the storage area breaks and takes forever to get repaired. I am very displeased with uhaul in general. (Not necessarily this store. I reserved a 6x12 trailer for a location in Dallas days before I needed. Not only did I not get to pick it up at the LBJ store but I was given a smaller trailer and the price wasn't even adjusted. I was not able to get all the furniture and keepsakes I wanted to keep to my moms estate sale in Arkansas. I was very sad and upset.Marc H.

While waiting in line, I noticed Richard went above and beyond to help the person in front of me and the previous customer was really grateful. When it came to my turn, Richard was really friendly and actually took time to try and build rapport and establish a relationship with a new customer. The location charged me $25.50 to fold 3 blankets and didn't even tell me till after I was hanged then proceeded to tell me they are gonna reverse the charge and it's been 3 days and no reverse on chargeswes L.

No employee in the office because even though he saw us walk-in, he thought it was more important to finish washing a truck so waited for several minutes. Then he was really bothered by our patronage. The employee helping us hook-up the trailer literally walked off as I was backing up then came back when I was hooking up myself to tell me I was doing it wrong, and I need to go forward then back up again. I reserved a 6x12 enclosed trailer but when I went to pick it up there wasn't one available. I had to go to a 5x8 enclosed, which made me take 2 trips (extra gas and 3 more hours). Not happy with Uhaul but had nothing to do with this location.LOYD C.

-as inviting as a location can be i guess -personnel was just blah. no smile no personality, just dry matter of fact. maybe having a bad day. tried to tell me i could not return there he did not seem to want to work. when i made the res they told me any garland location and i specified that one -still no covid protectionHoward C.
After dong everything online I was surprised at how long it took to get done in the office and then wait on some help in the yard to hook up the trailer. The staff was very friendly and helpful once they got to me but it took quite a while longer than I expected.Joseph L.

1. If there is a line formed and there are two employees behind the counter (one doing absolutely nothing), BOTH should be taking care of customers. (Check your inside surveillance on Sunday between noon and 12:30) 2. Refrain from offering services that do not work ( Online check in) After moving, the absolute last thing a customer wants to do is encounter issues with a system Uhaul has in place but does not work during after hours check in 3. Lastly, calling the number to Uhaul to receive assistance to check in only to be placed on hold over 20 minutes is horrible customer service. Customers are exhausted and simply want to return equipment and go home. Those calls SHOULD BE a priority.Demetria D.

I was charged an extra day for 30 minutes but was not told this. I learned it when I got the email with the charge. I could of used it an extra day if known. As I pulled in a Uhaul member speed walked across a 100 yard parking lot just to aggressively turn me around. She demanded that I take it to another location not telling me where but just not there. SUPER RUDE AND threatening me with fees and consequences. I drove 15 hours through dust storms and a 3.5 EARTHQUAKE in Snyder to be pushed away at my final destination!ERIC G.

The facility itself was fine but the staff at the facility is what brings the score down, except one grey haired gentleman who had owner on his badge and he is not the owner listed on the website. But, the owner on the website was just as rude as any employee there. When I went to access the unit, my access card was no longer valid and, an extra lock was on the unit. I was told it was because I did not use an approved lock style. Well, it seems my lock was working just fine because no one broke into my unit. And, what was really funny, the people who were locked out for non-payment had the same style lock I had on mine. So, I guess my lock did do the job correctly. Basically, they wanted me to buy a lock from them and since I did not I was locked out of my own unit. What really made the experience even better was, the manager/owner had to break into the lock he had put on my unit because they had lost the key. It took him all of 3 min, once he had all the tools and such with him, to get into my unit. How secure was this lock? I know my combination so it only took me 15 seconds and no tools. To wrap it up, I paid my bill on time. Had my unit locked with a solid lock and, was locked out of my unit electronically and with an "approved" lock. Basically, I don't plan on using U-Haul storage units any longer. I paid my bill on-time each and every quarter and left the unit in the shape it was when I first rented it over 2 years ago. I moved to another facility which was lower priced, larger, easier to access and, has friendly staff. Also our move was made difficult because someone had put a couch into the middle of the hallway and no one had moved it in over 2 weeks. I bet the couch is still sitting there as of this writing 4 days after moving out.Thom B. | Overall Experience
