I wasn't completely clear as to where to return the truck after hours. Where the return arrow was pointed seemed a lot of their inventory was already parked up front, but I did like how the online return requested a picture for where I returned the truck.

I had a 10am appointment. When I arrived there were two employees working reservations and one person at the reservation pickup desk. The lady helping him I guess was new, because the other employee had to keep helping her and telling me he would be with me shortly. That went on for over 20 minutes. He started working with me, got all my information printed the ticket, set it on the keyboard and walked out. I waited for almost 10 minutes more, then asked the lady if I was good to go. She contacted him, then she had me sign & initial and sent me around back to the trailers. While the guy was attaching the trailer to my car, I walked around it to make sure all was good only find one of the tires had a slice deep into the tread. That being said, I had to go back inside and swap trailers This pick up took up over 1-1/2 hours.

The truck I rented was crazy dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The back of the cabin was leaking dirty water onto us which was basically nicotine stained ceiling with condensation leaking onto our back. the truck itself had scratches all over each side. i will say the truck got incredible gas mileage though. so that's a plus.

The person who helped me with the rental was not only has a sloppy personal appearance but extremely rude and pushy. I asked for a truck that was in better condition because I was driving 400 miles and traveling on a highway with not much around in I were to brake down. He told me I take what I get and if there's a problem then call the customer service number. It felt like all he wanted to do was get me out of there as fast as possible. I'm selling my house in Dallas and moving to Lubbock and will be needing to rent U-Haul trucks 3-4 more times but I will never again have anything to do with that location again. I would recommend consistency with policy and procedures. On my first visit, I was only charged for mileage and rental charges. At my second visit, I was told there was a $75 hold that needed to be placed on my card. When I addressed the difference, there was no explanation given.



When the employees are being taken care of. Don't do other work that makes customers stay longer than necessary... Otherwise good job... Sincerely David Krauser

This is the second time I dealt with this location. First time was a very bad experience. The office is ran off of a phone call which goes unanswered. On the first pick up and drop off my car was stuck on the Auto transporter clearly not for the vehicle I was towing then had to unload the trailer my self because no one was there to assist me. Same thing this time which is my last time. No answer to the 3 numbers provided. The lady called back and gave me excuses as to why she nor her husband was available to unhook the Auto transporter from my suv. She then told me it was a courtesy to have someone unhook and hook the auto transport. I’m a 30 year old pregnant female who still TRIED to unhook the trailer only to have to drive 11 min to have 2 men raise it off the hitch which the guy stated he wouldn’t have been able to to himself! I also had a guy to try to unhook it himself before proceeding the the second location WHICH THEY ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE FIRST LOCATION BEING UNAVAILABLE TO HELP CUSTOMERS! VOID THE CONTRACT WITH THIS GORDON AMITH LOCATION PLEASE YES AFTER 25 YEARS AS SHE BOLDLY STATED AS IT NORHING WAA WRONG WITH HER CUSTOMER SERVICE!
