The cashier did not go out to show the van or give tips on features. She just gave us papers and key. I didn't realize they're was a back up camera on the rear view mirror. I'm glad there was. Very helpful. I tripped on a piece of equipment coming out of the store and almost fell. Hurt my leg but I'm ok now. I could have died if I had fell and hit my head. Someone really needs to move that out of the walkway. It was a busy Saturday and maybe more employees were needed. Also not enough parking.

I rented a van, returned it less than 24 hours later and was charged an extra day. I called the location for 3 days and never got a person or voice mail. I went back to the location. pointed out the error, it was acknowledged, but 3 people could not figure out how to provide a refund!! Supposedly, the manager was notified and would be the only one to resolve the issue. I STILL haven't received a refund or even a message.

They seem very disorganized. We requested a dolly when we reserved the truck on line. When we got to our pickup location there was no dolly in the truck. Our mistake for not checking before we left the UHaul place. Next time we will double check what the employees have or have not done.

Your security xameras explicitly show me denying the 30dollar comprehensive coverage. She told me id 100 cash back and they gave me 75. Found out she charged me 30 bucks. Was very rude in insisting i wanted it. Then threatened me by saying theyll lool at security tapes. Didnt answer me for days finally after i went over her head she called said because records show i never got it before that they will pay me back the 30. Never apologized, never admitted a mistake. I don't like shifty people who cant accept blame. That was the last uhaul i will ever rent. For the headache i feel like i should get one free one way car dolly between charlotte and pittsburgh. If not, im using another company to transport cars for now on.

I rented a van. I had to extend the van rental because of weather and the location i rented from called me FIVE TIMES while i had the rental ACCUSING ME THAT I DIDNT TURN MY RENTAL BACK IN. THEY HAD a hold on my card for more than $200. How could I steal something I have already paid for. Also i still have not gotten my refund back. They also had me down for 2 vans when really I only had ONE. WORST UHAUL EXPERIENCE EVER. THEY MADE MY MOVING EXPERIENCE HORRIFIC. SO STRESSFUL DEALING WITH UHAUL. WORST EVER!!!!

I arrived at 7:20 a.m. to rent a truck and a T dolly and they told me that I couldn't rent both in the uhoul. This cost me to miss the appointment I had in the DMV. The truth was very bad. I lost $ 145 of the truck rent and lost my appoiment.

I did the express check in on line but still cover the same items when I pickup the truck waste of time. And I only had 9.6 miles on truck used and gas was on 1/4 when I pick up. So I was going let uhaul charge me for about one gallon of gas used but I was told it would cost me 30.00, this to me is a total rip off.

The camera can tell a story don’t know if. She. Was new the lady Eva or Ava cant quite remember her name seemed nice but things weren’t in places where they should’ve been when given my van it was placed in the back so she had to move a van in order for me to get my van the van worked well but I was told I had gotten the an older version while others where getting a better quality now far is far but treat others how you want to be treated (love thy neighbor as thy self) but this is what happens in this day and age heartbreaking to see that we live in a world like this still

There was a problem checking in my equipment outside (at the outdoor check-in / return area) so the guy sent me inside. Aside from waiting a few minutes for someone else to be served - which was not only reasonable, but appreciated (that they were giving their attention to the people who had questions/needed some time), the check in process was super easy and the staff member was friendly and efficient.

The employee who took my information when I called ahead to schedule a rental had little interpersonal skills and was seemed to be unfamiliar with how to operate the U-Haul system. She made numerous errors with inputting the information and had to redo it several times only for me to show up the day of the rental and all of the information was still incorrect. I had to spend another 30 minutes with a young lady redoing information. The staff that assisted with getting the rental the day of were very courteous and eager to help.

The upsell tactic of bolting a furniture dolly to the wall of the truck that takes up moving space the I as a customer paid for is ridiculous. I asked to sales person to remove the dolly from the truck since I won't be using it and they said the manager wouldn't allow them to. So in the future I when I need a moving truck again I'll be looking to the competition first. Don't take up YOUR CUSTOMERS space that THEY PAID FOR trying to upsell products. What a poor tactic from a customer service standpoint.

I rented a Uhaul van for less than 4 hours to go from one town to the next to pick up an appliance and then back again. The Uhaul written agreement was that I could have the van for 24 hours without being charged a late fee. On top of this, the written agreement was that I could return the truck after store hours, without a fee, if I went to the website to return the van once I was physically in the Uhaul lot. Despite returning this van after less than 4 hours, I was charged for having the van for two days. Apparently the store thought I didnt return it until 11am the next day but this still would have been under 24 hours so I dont understand the logic I was given for this location's mistake. I was also charged $20 instead of $10 for the Dolly I rented with the van. This location claims I will be reimbursed $35 but I must wait 7 to 10 business days to receive my money back on my credit card and I will not receive reimbursement for interest charged to my card for this mistake made by Uhaul on top of being robbed of my $35 for the next couple of weeks.

The young lady that assisted me with my check-in was extremely helpful. In fact, the unit I had originally reserved was being brought back in by another customer and was leaking. She took time out to locate me another unit at their location to rent for the day and then walked me out to inspect the new unit and ensure it would fit my needs. I TRULY appreciated this customer service!

My biggest complaint would be that they park and store large trucks at the dock most of the time and this makes getting in to unload a trailer or anything more difficult due to no space
