I've been renting a storage unit for several months while finding a new home. I pay extra for 24hr acces. Because of downsizing from a lg home to a smaller one, I rented another 10 by 10 unit because of different closing dates. I acquired 3 men to pack up the lg sized truck, of course it takes time. When we got back to unit it denied me access to get inside. We called the after hours #, no answer. I then called Uhaul Cust svc # to be left on hold 3x for 45 min, late nite in freezing weather! She gave me a code # that did NOT work! We had to come back the next day after I talk to them to be told they don't know what happened, just a 'glitz in their system?! It worked the next hour then disallowed me again on the next visit! They were very non shalant & unprofessional! It toook us 3 days to finally finish moving & I spent a fortune paying Uhaul & those men!

It was a pleasure dealing with the three associates during the reservation process, pick up and drop off. Each experience lasted 5 minutes or less. Super easy and pleasant. I will definitely return.

I was rented a truck with a "check engine" light. And the drop off location given to me was fair from my destination. Very unhappy with UHaul and this experience. The drop off location at Mountain View Self Storage was professional and helpful.

Due to the "In-town" rules of dropping a truck back at the same location (which that was not clear to me) and I ended up having to pay more than what I expected...this location tried to help me save some money. The Pineville location was rude and hung up on me. Due to how rude the woman was that I spoke with at the Pineville location, I plan on never using uhaul again

You pay a premium to use Uhaul equipment. It is usually available, good working order, and convenient but you get nickled and dimed on little things like a 7 pin wiring connector. This location was understaffed and the yard person was basically slow/lazy. I had to hitch up the trailer myself.

I have worked in the automotive industry for 18+ years and I know what things cost and there is no way you can tell me that a scratch about 1 inch long cost $150 to fix if that’s the case you need a new repair facility, so it seems you just charge the max you can just to get the extra money, I would also like to see the fixed repairs to know my money went to the repairs and not just in someone’s pocket.

We paid 139 to move from NC to Youngstown OH people were friendly they hooked up the trailer the problem we had no lights and had to drive at night with no lights. We took a very risky chance and we shoul be compensated for that. It should be noted as when we dropped off we should the u Haul place we had no lights.

Better customer service at your stores giving people the right truck size. And if they're low a couple gallons on gas the price they charge to fill up a whole tank and a $30 service charge ridiculous!!! But I promise I will tell everybody I know

The owner put incorrect information in the computer which over charged me. When I questioned the final price her answer was " I can only tell you what the computer says." If I had not been able to do the math in my head I would not have discovered the mistake and then after pointing it out to her she never apologized. She then tired to tell me that the truck was due back a day before it was. Again when I told her that was incorrect her answer again was I only know what the computer says. I made her count it out on her fingers proving her incorrect. Again, NO apology or acknowledgement. The whole process took a while and then she explained to me that the truck was due back 4 days from the time she STARTED the contract. I don't think I should have to pay for truck's rental when the truck was being delayed being released to me because of her multiple mistakes.
