Poor communication of staff and disorganized business. Actually made a reservation 3 days before and when I went to pick up van there was no record of it- strike 1 Returned the van within 2 hrs with 3/4 tank of gas and at check out was told all was good. Returned the dolly also. I purchased various items that day, including pad covers, not realizing that was a rental item. There was never any mention that this had to be returned...even at the check in. Nothing said whatsoever. Yes, my mistake...but it would have been nice to simply be told this otherwise I would have returned the pads that day- strike 2 Next day I see a charge on my credit card not understanding what it’s for. Actually drove to the uhaul location to inquire and was told charge was for pads. A young lady named Christina said if I returned that day, she’d credit my account since I didn’t know it was a rental item. Indeed returned this afternoon, no one was in the office for at least 10 minutes. Just waited and walked around and finally called the office number and Christina appeared. THEN she tells me she can’t refund me the $13.33. Strike 3 I will never use this site again. Glad there are other competitive options in our town for moving and storage.

My reservation was cancel after showing up 50 min late. It took another 2 hours to get a truck and trailer. It's was a horrible experience and not professional service.


Didn’t realize the costs associated with having the dealer add 11 gallons of gas. Rented at 0830 and returned at 3:00 the same day. Was charged for 11 gallons of gas and only drove a total of 36 miles. The gas hand was just above 3/8. I was told I could leave the key on the seat and leave. At the time this was great but costs me more because I didn’t understand the fuel costs. For that short local rental advertising $39 it costs me $248.37.

The only part I didn’t like was when I turned the truck in no one gave me a final receipt for turning the truck in..I still don’t know what my final bill was and my mileage was under what I thought I would use..other than that excellent service!

This was a horrible and regrettable experience! I was mistreated and the charges made to me were false. The odometer on this vehicle is obviously false. We did not drive the mileage that was recorded. We had our device from our insurance company calculating mileage as we traveled and have the documentation as proof. We showed this to the attendant and she was belligerent and rude. She called the manager who was even more abusive. I was never rude to either of the U-Haul employee's. I rented a truck from you a few weeks ago with other attendants and was not treated this way. You have overcharged me and I plan to continue my complaint for restitution. I am offended that the people who represent U-Haul treated us this way. The monetary difference was small in comparison to the abuse that was enormous, offensive and inappropriate. I will be sharing this experience with others. I am overwhelmed at the abuse targeted toward a loyal customer and delivered by the attendants employed by the U-Haul company.

The cashier did not go out to show the van or give tips on features. She just gave us papers and key. I didn't realize they're was a back up camera on the rear view mirror. I'm glad there was. Very helpful. I tripped on a piece of equipment coming out of the store and almost fell. Hurt my leg but I'm ok now. I could have died if I had fell and hit my head. Someone really needs to move that out of the walkway. It was a busy Saturday and maybe more employees were needed. Also not enough parking.

I rented a van, returned it less than 24 hours later and was charged an extra day. I called the location for 3 days and never got a person or voice mail. I went back to the location. pointed out the error, it was acknowledged, but 3 people could not figure out how to provide a refund!! Supposedly, the manager was notified and would be the only one to resolve the issue. I STILL haven't received a refund or even a message.

They seem very disorganized. We requested a dolly when we reserved the truck on line. When we got to our pickup location there was no dolly in the truck. Our mistake for not checking before we left the UHaul place. Next time we will double check what the employees have or have not done.

Some customer had damaged the air hose so that no one would take care of me. This resulted in a late charge on my equipment. I could not help the inefficiency of the crew.
