I was unable to use the equipment that I reserved and returned it the next morning. I asked about a refund for the remaining hours and was denied. So I paid for nothing.

Took longer than quoted. Also, the front desk people were very rude and unprofessional.
Gregory WI got there at 10 to 5 and they said the place was closed. Told me I could do a self check in and was directing me as to where they drop the trailer off disconnected and then park the truck in a certain location, trying to check the vehicle in was a nightmare. I spent an hour in the parking lot trying to get the vehicle checked in Left there very frustrated and upset.
Ronald HEverything was spot on. The young lady that helped me realize I was at the wrong location but assisted me in getting a trailer that was going to fulfill the need that I had. And the two gentleman that hooked up the trailer and disconnected the trailer were very friendly and helpful. STEVEN CI was rented a truck that ended up not being on the lot delaying my pickup by a half hour or so. Other than that the staff was courteous and helpful.
DAVID SWas never explained that a one way trip had an extra fee. The miles on the app when I set up my reservation was .89 cents per mile but, than I was charged $1.00 per mile. Was also charged for 870 mile but only went 745 miles. Also set up for a two day use but was charged for 4 days. Will not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

oli HThis was a horrible experience. I went to a location to get a truck, there was no key in the key box. Then I had to get bounced around on the phone until I got sent to the E Franklin location. It took 45 minutes to find a different truck, and added 1 hour and 20 minutes worth of extra driving because of the new location. My Sunday lost over 2 hours due to all of this.

LEROY GI returned the truck with the same amount of gas that was in it when I picked it up. I was charged $97 for a fuel charge and for 6 gallons of gas. I pay a rediculous amount every month for a small storage unit at the same location and I still get this treatment. I will be making arrangements soon to vacate that storage unit and take my business elsewhere.

When he did speak, he just told me to “pull to the back”, and someone would come help. Nobody showed up to help. After about 5 minutes, I had to drop the trailer in the parking lot myself. I then went back in the office for a receipt…was ignored again… when I was handed a receipt, there was no appreciation shown for my business. He is probably a good guy, but he is in desperate need of training. A smile and simple “thank-you” goes a long way.

However my only issue was that I purchased a lock from uhaul upon originally getting the storage and the key didn't work when I went to unlock my unit. That was most likely my fault, however my only issue with that pertaining to uhaul is that their fee to cut locks is 50 bucks but out of all the personnel that were working to include the GM didn't know how to cut a lock. I'm not just upset about this because I had to spend almost 4 times that cost to have my lock cut by an outside agency but also because I feel someone on hand should know how to do the job especially if your are an top person in the company. My apologies if it comes off salty but this was my only issue. When a storage space is auctioned locks are cut so why can't the service be provided and everyone be trained accordingly if/and when needed? I do appreciate the young lady that tried to work with me to figure it out and refer me but even she agreed that the 50 cut off fee should've been available versus me spending 180 externally.

The sliding doors are open all day during the day. Anyone can go in and out, anyone can cut a lock and move you out. I slipped on a food trash bag in the parking lot that had mayonaise packets. (I have a picture). I tried to go into the facility at night and none of the doors worked. Sorry does not cut it.

What I didn't like: The ever so young staff may do much in parking lot half but don't focus on inside storage area. These are monthly paying customers and surely deserve a clean, properly controlled environment. If air is lacking it takes some time for them to address/report it. A broke down large grill stayed in the way, in a corner up front/top for over 2 weeks. I tried rolling it out of the way as it was in my way and just barely touching it it completely fell to the floor. I told one of the young workers downstairs about it he said yeah we know about it nodded his head and went about his way. Two days later when I come back it's still laid in the floor broke down still in my way. So I pulled it out of my way into another hallway so I could access my belongings easier. Again one and two days later it was still laid in the other hallway as I finished cleaning out my storage facility. The hand is broke off the thermostat on the second floor by the elevator so now it will be even harder for them to know when it's not working properly because that's all these young people are going to rely on. The younger staff is polite just need to work with some seasoned workers 😉 to learn basic things.

This location should have taken into consideration that people are having issues with COVID and getting back on their feet before selling off people's units. The people their are nice enough but I lost a lot because of their actions. And to make it worst, a few weeks later, we found out that people were stealing mail in the area so we were not protected because they didn't send something to us via certified mail to let us know. I suggest going somewhere else if you are storing something important to you.

For half of that time no service people were around. Upon moving out of storage the same thing. Waited inside 30 min with no people anywhere. Finally just gave up and left.

Kevin B | Overall ExperienceI had to go all the way to Walmart and purchase a Brinks lock because this U-Haul location did not have one on the day I moved in. Then two days later they moved me out without my permission. My lock was cut off and they went through my stuff. I was told it was to find out who the storage unit belonged to but that should have been in the computer along with my phone number. Nobody bothered to call me to ask me if I had moved out before cutting my lock off. The day they cut my lock off I got a phone call asking if I had two storage units. I told them I just had one and they said ok. They never mentioned they had cut my lock off. There was no apology or offer to replace my Brinks lock. They did give me a u-haul lock. I didn’t find out the lock had been removed until I arrived at the storage unit on Friday and my keys did not work. Luckily I arrived during office hours. I asked the ladies in the office why my lock was switched and there was a white tag on the door but nobody seemed to know what a white tag meant. They eventually found the keys to the new lock and I moved out.
Derek C | First ImpressionsMy access card didn't work and I rented a moving truck to move my things a couldn't due to my access card being denied twice so I wasted a whole u-haul rental when I should have been moving. I contacted customer service only to be told after going in circles that they have no access to the cards to help me so it was a waste of time and I still need to move. hopefully U-Haul pays for another day because it's their fault that I can't have access to get to my storage because my card doesn't work and you don't open back up until 9 on Sunday and my truck is due back at that time.

Irene G | Overall ExperienceI have used this location several times. Parking is an issue. The rental trucks are parked and stored where customers are supposed to park to load and unload. If you don’t have a way for your customers to use your facility then it is useless. I moved to a new facility that is more accessible. Also the temperature is 80 degrees upstairs making it hard to work in your space.
