Van had not been cleaned inside prior to rental. Seats had crumbs and dirt on them. Location did not honour Covid extension of driver's licenses expiry dates, and did not notify renters of this condition when they booked. Told us "this happens every day" that a renter shows up with an expired license and they have to refuse the rental. This could all be avoided if they proactively notified renters of their rule first. Service was terrible. Upon return U haul truck the customer service woman calculated milage for 15 min and asked to go and tank gas, arguing with my husband not enough gasoline he filled up for 21 kilometers,asked him to go again to gad station, later called another worker to calculate and at the he did over again.Roman M.

For some strange reason although I got emails saying I was booked for renting the van, and I got emails asking me for feedback on the service, I didn't get the email I requested for the pictures and process for how to do my own check on the vehicle to make sure what I saw on the vehicle matched the pictures. Since my apple phone is old, its not too smart. I can't pick up email messages. I still don't really know where I was supposed to get this info, whether it was email, or text. The manager and the staff were kind about trying to help me. The manager said she would try to send me the link on my computer. The young man who assisted me did the walk around and checked the van physciaoly when I returned it.BONITAR T.

The lady at reception was not at all pleasant quite miserable infact. I ordered a truck for moving appliances and the 10 foot truck was recommended. I ordered a dolly(it was not suggested) for the purpose of moving appliances !! The truck did not have a ramp therefore all the appliances had to be lifted onto the truck and the fridge did not stand up. I would have thought the staff would know the proper equipment to rent as this is your job not mine. i was quite disappointed. Luckily for me I had 2 strong guys helping me out and they could actually lift the appliances from the ground into the truck some people would not have had that advantage. The staff should be trained in the proper equipment to rent when they are asked for the proper equipment.Jeffrey K.

SUPPOSEDLY we were 1/16th short in the tank. AND THEREFORE CHARGED $15! I VEHEMENTLY DISAGREE. When we picked it up he said just over 3/4 of a tank, that is what we returned it with. (We even put more than the chart guideline suggested and got gas 2 blocks away.) I have never had issues with rentals and gas returns before, this is not fair, and way too expensive for what would be maybe 50 cents of gas.Julie C.

The agent booked a return time that was when the location was closed. It is not safe to return a trailer after hours. Was charve an extra day because of this. Disappointing and inconvenient.Krzysztof A.
Your online system is more frustrating than just doing it in person. It had me walk all the way to the back of the property to find the truck before then having me walk all the way back to the office to get the keys. Then I find out I can't park on site so I needed to go across the road and then make the long walk all the way to the back again.Luke A.

This store was great it was the store that I originally rented the truck from that didn't impress me when I specifically ordered a appliance dolly and was told had to go to Rymal and Upper Ottawa to pick up my dolly which was used as part of my 6 hour rental which I didn't think was fair and my mileage as well. I have used uHaul many times before and was not impressed how it went down. Would not even give me a break at all.Sharon J.

I rented a van and storage unit at the same time and they gave me 2 different locations. One location to pick up the van and the other was where my storage unit was. This was extremely inconvenient because I specifically rented from uhaul to have pick up and storage at the same location. I would not only not recommend this location to a friend, I just wouldn't recommend Uhaul to anybody. I am severely disappointed, I confirmed to have a 15' truck rented and they gave me a 10' truck, declined searching if there's any in stock at another Uhaul location, and wasn't apologetic at all. I was just told I'll have to use the 10' truck. So not only did I have to move with DOUBLE the amount of loads, I had to pay for double the amount of KMs and double the amount of gas. Extremely disappointed. I will not be using U-haul again.Thomas V.

Rented trailer. Ensure proper ball size on hitch of two inches. Unfortunately I had a 2 and 5/16 inch ball. Trailers could not accommodate this. Fortunately I was able to get access to one and complete the task schedule. Overall experience with Uhaul was good however.Patrick P.
