I was charged for having a dolly even though there wasn't brought up while I was paying for options. Then they charged for me not returning said dolly but I had no idea I was charged initially and I never got a dolly in the first place. Then I emailed customer service to lodge my complaint about paying a fine for the missing dolly and no one replied back. I blame the gentlemen that was working there this past Sundsy Oct 13th as he was out of it or hungover or something. The other fellow there was great though and seemed to realize his co worker was not all there.

My 3:30pm reservation was for a truck and 2 furniture dollies. I had to pick up 3 pieces of furniture from uhaul storage, then pick up 2 more at a furniture store that is on the way to my apartment where I would drop all 5. About a 2 hour job, depending on traffic. Several hours before my reservation, I received a call from a uhaul rep who told me that the truck I rented was not returned, and switched me to a cargo van. Upon arrival I found out that the cargo van was not a cube van, it was just a regular soccer mom van with the back seats removed. Can't move my furniture with that. Nearest location with a suitable truck was a few miles away. When I picked up the truck there was only 1 furniture dolly, and no second folly was available. I didn't get out of the second uhaul location until around 4:15. Drove to the furniture store first, backtracked to my storage at the first uhaul location, then back last the now closed furniture store to my apartment where I unloaded with only one dolly. A 2 hour job became a 4 hour job, and the second location's lights were out when I returned the truck at about 7:50 pm. They were supposed to be open until 8:00, but had decided to close early. Thankfully one of the employees hadn't left yet and was able to open the security gate do i could get my car out. When I received my email bill the next day, they charged me for the 2 dollies that I reserved instead of the 1 that I received, and there was about $35 in mileage from all the backtracking. It should have been closer to $20 in mileage. I called uhaul to have the charge for the second dolly removed, and uhaul agreed to discount the mileage for the distance between the two uhaul locations. Staff was friendly and polite, but service is somewhat lacking. And I am definitely going to check my credit card statement to see I'm still being charged for that second dolly. when I returned the truck, because thronged decided to close a few minuSo I had to drive back to the other uhaul to empty out my storage, then to prior custoer had not returned

Just a disaster. Took over an hour to get the truck. The staff was so frustrated with the computers. People were walking away from purchases because it was taking so long. Staff indicated that it wasn't their fault and that head office was to blame. I gather there was some sort of computer update going on. Also, I had booked a reservation for 2 days and when I arrived I was told that I only had 1 day available to me. Furthermore the price that I paid per km was higher than I was quoted on the phone. Moving is rarely a pleasant experience and the wasted time, inaccuracy of the reservations and overall ineptitude compounded the frustration of the day. I would like to dispute my payment and hope that head office will waive my payment on my Visa. Awful, just awful experience.

I reserved my rental online, registered and checked all the boxes so I could have a fast easy pickup. When I got to the rental place I had to go through the whole process again. What a waste of my time!

i returned the trailer one FULL DAY early and did I get a credit on my card.....NO!!! considering i did not get compensated for having to drive over 2 1/2 hrs in total to get a trailer that I booked FIVE mins from my house was bad enough, then UHAUL doesn't even refund me for returning it a day early!! i will NEVER recommend UHAUL to anyone!!!! What a RIP OFF

Initally i went to the upper Wellington location and was not served well. There was a long lineup and the person at the desk seemed overwhelmed. I had to cancel my reservation and make a new one at the final location. This was inconvient for me but was the best option on such short notice. I'm glad that everything worked out in the end
