I had to go through the whole process, including paying, twice. The attendant pushed "back" instead of "authorize" on the very last screen. If forced me to have to confirm with my baklnk that there was no double payment, as i received 2 order numbers 82611488 and 82611627. This inconvenience also pushed me a little behind schedule. This is the second Uhaul location i had to visit because the first location i visited, 524 Upper Wellington didnt have the equipment i needed.

There was no snow brush/scraper in the vehicle. This would have been helpful in the snow storm. The back of the truck needs some type of floor traction. The driver fell on the floor twice because the weather was bad while moving and became wet and very slippery.

The girls are quite helpful, but this is the second time in the office and it smells terribly of smoke. I would recommend not allowing the staff to smoke inside, because it really discourages people from returning.

There is no parking at this location, the worker was great & advised I could return the truck to any location near my home address, as I didn't know the area. I returned the truck the same day before 4:30pm to the nearest location to my new address & someone was calling me Sunday around 12pm advising I need to return the truck

Quicker cleanup of roadways after snowfall. 24 hrs past last storm still 10-15 cm snow & slush in main road past gate entrance.



The service we received was excellent and the van ran quite well. However--and this has happened in our previous rental at another location--the inside of the vehicle could have used a good sweeping or cleaning. There were carpets fibers from a previous client. Other than that no complaints!

Had to pick this up in Hamilton as the st Carharines location did not have it despite reserving on line. Big inconvenience. Set me back 3 hours. This is not the first time this has happened. Then was called at 9:30am to see when I was returning the trailer even though it was due at 12:45. Was still in bed because I did not finish using it until 1:00 am and then had to drive another 90 min. home. Will think twice before using u-haul again. Do not blame employees or locations but the reservation system has not worked for me.

When the truck was ordered I indicated we would require for 10 hours. When we went to return the truck the location was closed at 5pm. It was 6:00pm. We called the customer service number and they indicated we could not return the truck that night and would be charged an extra day. When I called the next morning they said we could have returned by 9:00am for no charge. Since we thought we were going to be charged anyway we made arrangements to return the truck after work on the Monday. We were told different things by different people and had to pay an additional $39/day to sit in my driveway and extras $15/day for the insurance. This is not good customer service. We will not use this location in the future due to the poor handling of our issues and the incorrect information provided to us.

When booking the reservation says you're "guaranteed" the truck at 930. I could not get the truck until 2pm. If the company is going to guarantee something, but have no plan in place to ensure they'll fulfill their promise, and do not offer any discount if they fail....then it's not a guarantee at all. This is a company process issue, after truck was over 4hrs late, I cant blame the staff as they were friendly and helpful. However they didnt offer any deal/discount. I'm sure they fine the last customer for being late, so if im the one being inconvenienced shouldn't I see some of that extra money the company gets? Again, I wasn't in the mood to complain or try to argue myself into some financial compensation, but i shouldn't have to. I hate this "squeaky wheel gets the grease" mentality that businesses have created; training customers to think that if they berate and argue with your employees enough they'll get something in return. Don't throw around the word "guarantee" if you're not going to out your money where your mouth is. I will avoid Uhaul at all costs in the future.
