I think his name was Trevor that helped me out. I made the reservation for the wrong date. They didn’t have the equipment that I reserved but he was more than helpful with getting me a trailer that I could rent that day. He was awesome. Kudos to him very happy with my experience.

Super friendly and knowledgeable customer service; I had lots of questions and all of them were answered. Guided me through downloading the app, and was very patient as I figured out how to use it. Van was in great shape and drove great. Love this location.

I scheduled my pickup for 10:30 in Mechanicsburg. The center did not have my truck so I was sent to Cameron St in Harrisburg. No one was there to assist me with getting my truck and I did not receive any instructions on how to get my keys independently. When I called Uhaul, they were able to get me a truck at Allentown Blvd. I arrived at this location honestly, VERY angry because I had to drive 30 mins from where I live and 20 from the initial location I requested. The employee who helped me was named Trevor I think, and he could not have been kinder and more helpful during a very frustrating situation.

Give your staff some help! One kid running the whole location getting cents on the dollar to what the company is making. His service was great but it doesn’t seem like U-Haul cares about him. That was evident in seeing a one man staffed location on a Saturday afternoon as clients passed through. Also, nothing about the U-Haul app makes the overall experience easier. The expectation that it does is a joke.

From the moment I walked into this store it was a disaster. They had one person working, and no one to help us. They kept telling me to check in on the app, which took an extended period of time. Once I checked in on the app it said additional verification was needed and the clerk told me to await a phone call. Well they called my emergency contact I listed, and not myself, causing additional confusion. Once that was all taken care of we were directed to "head out and find the truck". We started at the key pickup- which was lacking direction. Once we got the key we had to match the numbers to the truck. We looked at the trucks they had pulled out and none of them were it. So we went to the "pile of trucks" that were parked. We found our truck in there (still had a sign in the window, rent me for 19.99) we removed the sign, then realized the truck had a headlight out. The clerk told us he could get us into another truck, however I was not wasting any more of my time at this location so we took the truck as is. He then said to take pictures. I tried to take pictures in the app but because the truck was not pulled out and prepared for us I was unable to get all angles of the truck like the app requested. The clerk was not helpful with this. I'm not even sure we dropped the rental back off the correct way because that was never explained to us either. I will not be using this facility again, and I will defer family and friends from using this location.

We were misinformed. A tiny lady in her fifties rented the truck but couldn't drive it & had me drive it. She gave her credit/debit card on the app & I showed my license to the guy in the store who happened to be the store manager. He said beings I was the driver "this goes under you", he never said what goes under me. I did NOT find out until last night through text & email this morning I would be the one being charged & be responsible for any charges if her card was declined for any reason as is the case. He clearly did NOT make himself clear on what he meant. I've never had this problem before with this little lady or anybody else I had to drive for. The text & email stated something about my credit & going to credit collections, If we can't get this resolved I will be filing a lawsuit against UHAUL for this matter as he did NOT make himself clear & we were misinformed & if he had I would never agreed to drive the truck or anything & I won't be using UHAUL again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The truck was ready when I arrived and they even had the engine running so the cabin would be warm when I got in. They walked me through the process of checking out on the app and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service.

The one guy who worked there a heavy set white make made this experience the worst someone one was bout to help me at the desk he told the guy not to for me to do everything off the app was extremely rude and did help at all just say there while I struggled to rent the truck I will never go to this location ever again after begging can I just please have someone ring me up my phone his dieing he got extremely snobby and had the biggest attitude telling me to firgure it out that’s a new policy

My only issue is that Uhaul does not send their trucks out full of fuel, forcing the customer to figure out how much fuel to relpace post rental. I do not think this is good practice, and puts customers in an awkward position. Penske sends their rentals out full, every time to avoid this. I used to work for them, so I know this to be true.

I had an negative interaction with a staff member in the store when I couldn't find my truck as listed in the app staff member was rude and demeaning. Wish I wouldn't have entered the building my truck ended up being the in the side lot.

I was supposed to drop off in Pasadena MD, however three locations was not able to take the trailer. I had to drag it empty 2.5 hours back to where I rented from. Someone finally called me back to try to arrange a drop off point but I was an hour into my trip back by then.

Rent is a bit high. But the convenience factor of having moving vans and suppright at hand somewhat makes up for that if you are renting short term. The staff I dealt with was beyond excellent, extremely helpful. I would, and have, recommend storage here.

I booked a cargo van on the website and Tyler called to let me know despite what the website claimed they didn't have any cargo vans available the day of my reservation. He got me squared away with a 10' truck and I was able to move what I needed to move. I have used this location because and I will use this location again.

The hitch itself is great and the installation was done quickly and efficiently. I am having a problem with the bicycle rack they sold me as the design of it drops too low and impacts the tarmac on bumps. They should have known and advised me on a different rack.

Truck had no clip rings to use ratchet straps. I drove 69 miles but I had to put 10 gallons of gas in. Truck is poor quality. 7 miles per gallon is terrible. First truck k ever had that didn’t have load straps rings. Not happy

We have lost over 75% of our belongings due to rat droppings and urine in our unit. We now know why you all have that big blue dumpster out back — for customer’s lost belongings due to a poorly managed facility. After 12 years of renting from you guys, we expected a higher quality of service and better management of our storage unit. For the past 2-3 years you all have been slowly increasing our rent without notice or reason, despite calling and requesting an explanation. You all were quick to ask for the monthly fee, while pretending to maintain a clean facility. We will be filing an official complaint. However, Dwayne was extremely helpful , closed us out and his customer service skills — top tier! He deserves a raise just for working at this location.

The unit had a wasps nest and I was stung by a wasp which I am allergic to and to be medicated quickly. I removed my credit card and it kept taking out charges instead of the card I replaced it with. Then I rented a truck several days before moving all belongings out of the unit and we returned the truck only to receive a letter saying we were late with our storage unit which we had alerted we moved when we turned in the truck.

I was very disappointed in the dimensions of unit 1261. Due to an 2' x 1' outcropping on back wall along with wooden crossbeams along the top. It is at best 4' x 5' x ~6.5'. This is not a dispute; rather, an observation about misinformation in the unit description. I expect a call from representative to correct this issue. Three stars as average for move in ease vs. not as stated in description.

The experience with the storage unit was excellent. The move out experience on your website was horrible. Every time I got done with the process, the final screen would say my session had expired. I tried using the chat and after the tech read my problem, she disconnected the chat. I verified I was still online so internet was not the issue. I tried from both my cell phone Via cell tower and my laptop via cable modem. I finally had to go to the store in person to move out.

I believe I was robbed! I was told I would receive a refund by the staff. I should have received a pro rated refund for usages not used. The staff needs to keep their communication straight.
