jordan gThe truck I rented was unremarkable, but the people are the reason why you should turn to this location. The team is courteous, helpful, and accommodating. They worked with me when I made a mistake with my booking, and I was made to feel like the process of sorting out my error caused no trouble for them at all. I had used their equipment in the past, and if I need these services in the Greenville area again, this location will be the first that I consult.

Mathew FI arrived on time for my reservation but had to wait 3-40 minutes because there was only one person on staff. This person, whose ID tag said "owner" failed to inform me that he had only allotted me 38 miles for travel and that I would accrue additional charges if I went over - the way he explained it (and highlighted on my receipt) was that I rented it until the following day/time at the price I paid. I didn't find out I owed more until I got to the drop off.

THOMAS OI have rented multiple times and the owner has been very rude each time. The trailer I rented broke a leaf spring within 30 miles of pickup.....maintenance with Uhaul is obviously very poor. Roadside assistance was good. Got me picked up within 2 hours.

Steven AI have rented here multiple times and no issue so this is not a criticism of the location because every other time there has been nothing to complain about however this time the back of the truck we rented was filthy, there was dirt and mud all over the floor. We had to buy a tarp and lay it on the floor in order to move our furniture. In addition to that the driver door did not seal all the way and rain came in while we were driving. I called the location to complain about the condition of the truck and to see if we could get another one but could not get through, after being on hold for a while we just dealt with it. Yes we extended the rental an additional day but that was simply because it got the job done.

WILLIAM CThe GM was not friendly at all and looked like he did not want to be there. Have me the keys and said the truck is to the left. I had to search for it and it was behind other trucks in a grassy muddy field. Customer service zero for him. I did see someone while I was out there and asked was I expected to go in the mud to get the truck and he assisted me with getting it out and even the tires was spinning with him.

ULADO JI returned the van cleaned 2 hours early Suppose to bring back with 1/8 tank I brought back with close to a quarter tank so gave you guys free $15 Yet YOU GUYS CHARGED ME EXTRA .$20 for driving extra 7 miles over idk even why i had only 40 miles allowed to drive in 3 days just disheartening You try to be nice put invextra $15 in gas and yet U GUYS CHARGE ME $20 extra so you got over $30 from someone who was only trying to be nice

James wNot this location's fault - but the app was not allowing me to authenticate yesterday morning, nor was Apple Safari browser - it took almost thirty minutes to get authenticated to complete my rental via Chrome on my phone. The location however, failed to alert me that the appliance hand truck that I had rented was not in stock and that basically all they had to give was moving pads from my rental agreement. The option to rent those and then not have them when expected was definitely not helpful - and I didn't have time to go get one so I was left using small hand trucks that were inadequate for the appliances I needed to move yesterday. So overall, not a great experience. The front desk employees were not very helpful or friendly.

Front desk told us the doors couldn’t be opened manually because they weighed 5,000 pounds. Definitely could have been opened manually, they just chose not to. So on a busy Saturday, everyone had to type a code in and go through a sliding door EVERY single trip inside. Trash and broken glass in several places in the hallways inside I also checked out in the app 5 days before my unit renewed. The staff failed to review my move out in time, and I had to call to get the charges removed from my account. Same location that missed 2 U pod delivery dates. Management here needs re-evaluation.

I was actually returning a trailer I had rented earlier in the day and then renting a unit upon returning the trailer. Mike was serving another customer and it took at least 20 minutes to get waited on. Not Mike's fault. He seemed to be doing the best he could and it appeared he was alone, but we were exhausted from our move, and it felt like a very long time just standing there.

When Joey walked in, he took over all three computer stations getting everybody checked in and reading contracts and getting signatures from everyone. Initially, we were there just to rent a trailer for the day to move to a different storage unit but after seeing how Joey worked, we decided to get a storage unit at U-Haul. I could tell Joey is a good multitasker and works very hard. As a warehouse manager for an automotive parts wholesaler I could use 3 or 4 Joey’s in my warehouse.

They charged me for the first month…and when I called the CS rep tried to tell me I didnt get that promo, but the store had put in for the credit. So they did do a credit and I am still waiting for that credit to apply. If it comes thru Id give them a four overall. The check in process is VERY LONG AND TEDIOUS… so maybe if they can make it a faster less aggravating process to get checked in, it could be a five. And make sure not to let new employees charge people if they are supposed to have a promo applied.

I returned with a full truck of stuff and movers the same day at 5:15 and could not get access because they are “under construction “ and the office had closed. I asked if management could be contacted since they had just closed to allow me access to at least unpack truck . I was told no. When I spoke to another customer service rep that was super pleasant and helpful she did help me switch my reservation to another location where I could do online check in and go then and unload truck . During that I lost my free first month since it had been used on this location. I have called to speak with management to rectify the situation since I know have a storage building at two locations but have not been contacted or no solution to the situation Having to use the other location also increased the mileage I had to use on rental truck which was also rented through this location by almost 30 miles which was also more money out of my pocket as well as inconvenience.

I was on hold for 17 minutes before hanging up and deciding to walk into the building to find help. There was another customer inside who said they walked around and didn’t find any employees to assist her. Eventually an employee walked over to ask us how he could help. He asked if I was dropping off the 6x12 trailer and I said “yes, but I need to move my stuff into a storage unit first” to which he replied “f*ck I really needed that trailer now but that’s ok” then proceeded to help the lady with her truck rental. I overheard that he didn’t have a truck available for her at the moment. Then another employee walked up and assisted with my storage unit check in and everything went smoothly from that point forward. Once the trailer was empty, I returned it to the first employee and left the location. The second guy was nicer than the first one but still overall a pretty stressful experience. I would recommend this location hire more employees to handle phone calls and walk ins. Also, make sure there’s one person at the desk at all times.
