GERMAN C.Everything was good except for the fact that the radio in the truck was broken and would turn on and off at random for no reason, sometimes every few seconds. While listening to music, the song would go in and out. Then while we were enjoying silence instead, the radio would suddenly turn on and scare the heck out of us. Highly annoying.
Hannah J.I arrived to store around 6 p.m. on April 30th right before closing. The employee forgot to inform me that I was checked in the system and only told me to key in my access code inside elevator. After several unsuccessful attempts, I called the after hours number and got no answers. At first, the number rang nonstop, but the phone was turned off to ignore the situation. I left several messages and never received a call back. While waiting for a call back, the elevator locked up on me and the moving helpers. We pressed and pressed the elevator door but it never opened. We decided to load the items on the dock back in the truck but had to leave three carts of household goods inside the elevator. I went to grab some food and returned to the store in less than 45 minutes to find the elevator working again and my stuff missing. I left pissed and had to come back the next morning to find out that elevator locking up is something that happens often at that location. After traveling for almost 48 hours, I couldn't rest as initially planned due to that issue. The next morning, another employee found my stuff on a floor where I don't have access. Some of the boxes were tampered with. Some of goods went missing, and I will be reaching out to submit a claim for. Not only my time got wasted but I also lost money due the inconvenience caused by the elevator issue. The manager needs to address this elevator issue asap because it's not good for customers. He also need to be more courteous and call back / make things right by his customers when they receive poor services. I have video recording of all the issues experienced at this location and can provide them upon request.
Jeffson D.Terrible Truck, it rained in and it leaked water on top of the Mom's attic, The rain whippers made a horrible noise. High mileage 100K plus, the wheel wasn't aligned. really dirty inside. To make it all worse the line of the gas when I was given the truck wasn't in one of the lines to easy read, so I wasn't sure where to fill up the truck so I was charged 2 gallons. I hated it! Very displeased

Garnet S.I scheduled a pick-up after hours and I was not able to pick up the Uhaul that I rented as no key was left in the dropbox for me so I had to wait until the next morning. The manager on duty was very helpful but it would have been nice to have received a call stating that the uhaul pick up would be delayed.

Joseph E.1. Let me know before I arrive that you do not have the dollies I reserved. Better still, retrieve them from another location, or at least help me find them to pick up myself. 2. Offer to load the supplies I bought and rented. Instead, they were pointed out in the store and I left without some of them. Chris was helpful and accommodating in crediting me after the fact, but I had to find blankets and a dollie in S. Sarasota (and they did not have everything I had reserved, either). 3. I wish UHaul rented straps to secure the load in the truck. I bought two and will probably never use them again; I would have rented more than two.

CORDELIA M.Kevin is awesome—the definition of a great property manager. Building is tired—lots of termite droppings from active swarming and plenty of dead palmetto bugs when I moved out were hiding in and around my stuff—and they didn’t ride in on my stuff—this property needs better pest control, but it is Florida after all. The elevator was finally repaired after what seemed like 2+ years of issues. Uhaul always pulled my money out on time.

Jacob F.I was given a truck with no A/C. While driving from Tampa to Dahlonega. I ran into a major rain and weather event. It was 85 degrees and raining extremely hard I had to run the heat and open the driver side window to prevent the windshield from fogging up. After driving through the rain it went from 85 degrees to 19 in just a matter of a couple of hours. Getting out of the cab in freezing temperatures While soaking wet in the wind was unbearable. This could have been avoided by when I brought the vehicle back to the Tampa location it was fixed right then instead of sending me on my way because no other trucks were available. Then after delivering the truck where I was instructed by the Uhaul email. I get a rude call from that location. I wasn't going to bring all this up until after that. Please have the Dahlonega location mark parking areas. Because apparently better than 40' clearance isn't enough for them to maneuver vehicles around an I parked it next to an existing 26' truck.

Betty E.The service technician could not figure out why my U-Haul installed wiring harness was blowing fuses. His solution was to put in a higher Amp fuse. This caused the whole wiring harness and power box to blow out. I.was then charged $184.00 to replace all of the wiring and power box. Had he looked under the vehicle he would have seen that the wiring was not routed correctly and chaffed against the frame, causing a ground. I should not have had to pay for the mistake of a U-Haul technician. Other than that, the equipment and service I received from the Brandon store was top notch.

WILLIAM B.The truck was not in a condition to be sent out. I'm not sure when the last pm was don't but it needs to be looked over. The truck pulls to the right, it's much worse after it's loaded. The brake rotors glazed over and have heat cracks, they also have huge grooves in them. Needless to say, it needs brakes. Also, the front-end needs looked at, it was making a noise when turning left into a parking lot with any incline. I'm guessing the steering tires need to be balanced as well, the truck bounced and the steering wheel shook while in the interstate and after being loaded. Finally, the wiper blades were almost nonexistent, that's one of the least expensive and least time consuming things to swap out and yet they made driving in the rain extremely dangerous. The truck smelled of cigarettes smoke which was awesome driving 800 miles. Lastly, both hood latches were left loose which I locked down during my walk around. I'm also extremely disappointed in the managers inability to tell me that the truck needed to be dropped at a certain location or there would be a fee. I found this out after calling the local traffic department and was told it needed to go 40 miles back to where I drove the truck from. I managed a Uhaul center 20 years ago and would have NEVER sent that truck one way or anywhere for that matter. I'm a ASE certified automotive technician, not that it matters but it give me some credibility in the trucks condition. However, the truck and I made it from Florida to Tennessee in one piece. I will use Uhaul again because I know that all the trucks aren't in this condition and there are some people there who actually care about thier customers safety and experience. MARIA F. | Overall ExperienceThe only reason why I gave the rating I gave is when I moved out 11/20/21 I saw a pair of work boots chewed on some boxes chewed on ( saw that when I got some time to look at it) but when I was done moving out the storage and cleaning it I saw rat droppings some dead roaches. And I know its rate because moving in the storage I had to tell one of the employees that a dolly had rat droppings on it. But I already paid for my storage. I didn't complain (I should have because I paid for the insurance) but I didn't have time to i was moving between shifts at work.

It’s like oxygen countdown once those doors close and I had a bit of a hard time getting my couch inn. But outside of that I have no complaints. The staff was great and helpful.
Siara O. | Overall ExperienceUpon arriving, there was a long line because there were only two store employees and one was on lunch. I easily waited 30 minutes before being helped. However, I didn’t mind because I was acknowledged and told I would be helped as soon as possible. Once I was helped, I was able to have the promotion honored and get my unit free for a month since I rented a truck which was super helpful because I just moved from Indiana. Since I was able to save money on storage that allowed me to be able to allocate those funds towards other expenses. Lastly, since there was only one employee working the store he couldn’t show me where my unit was but he told me to come back if I couldn’t find it. I attempted to find my unit but had no idea how to get to it since it was 102, a ground unit. However, I ran into mech 1, I believe, and she took me to my unit. I really appreciated how every employee even those not working in the store were super helpful and to me that’s what made my visit above average!

I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip. I feel that I deserve a adjustment of 60 dollars.
