This is by far the worst UHAUL location I've ever used for services. I scheduled a 10ft and a dolly over 3 weeks in advanced, to then show up on my move in day to not have a dolly. Which i have yet to receive a refund!! The guy at the register charges me for a 10ft and a dolly and then says so sorry we dont have any more dollys after you turn in the truck it will be refunded. I go out to the truck and i look over and he gives the person behind me in line the dolly!!! I said "DUDE, I SCHEDULED A 10FT AND DOLLY OVER 3 WEEKS AGO AND EVERY TIME I'VE CAME IN FOR BOXES/SUPPLIES YOU SAID YOU HAD IT ON FILE AND THERE WOULD BE NO ISSUE". This place is less than 5mins away from me and i will NEVER use this location EVER again. Garbage location and customer service. If i would have seen the 2 star reviews prior to going to this location i would have never done business.

Truck seemed to be fine and performed without issue over the entire 1000+ mile trip. However, when I picked up the truck there were a very large number of minor, but still very evident dings, dents, scratches, and scrapes on both sides, and the front and rear. That was all fine, as it had no impact on the functionality of the truck. However, there was not ONE single 'X' sticker on the truck to mark any of those blemishes. So to ensure I was not held liable for existing damage, I had to take a picture of ALL of them. So many that the U-Haul app would not record any more and I had to just take the remainder on my cell phone so I had a record. Not the biggest deal, but more of a hassle than I was looking for when I wanted to get on my way. Also, the truck was parked in such a manner that I was barely able to get it out of the end spot right up against a curb, because there was another truck angle-parked behind it so closely. I had to run the right front wheel up over the curb to get out of the spot and avoid hitting the truck behind. The truck parked to my left was so close, I could not walk between them, and could only enter the truck cab from the passenger side to reach the driver seat. All that said, on the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. So at least that helped to make a somewhat frustrating pick-up a little less so.

I had an issue all day trying to get a uhaul (at a two different locations) there was a guy at this location(my third stop) (forgot he's name) but he fixed all my problems by giving me his time and patience...I asked if he was a manager, they said no, he should be. Knows his stuff.

I reserved a 9' cargo van online and that process was fairly easy despite the fact that the Save Move coverage is apparently required but it's not accurately disclosed or transparent on the site, even though it should be. The issues occurred when I dropped off the van. I drove the van less than 10 miles for less than an hour. When I returned the truck, I parked it under the designated awning, and handed the keys directly to the worker inside. I asked if I needed to do anything to complete the return and was told no so I left. I received a call the next morning saying I never returned the van and asking that I return it. After multiple calls, they found the van in their parking lot and charged me for driving almost 40 miles. I then proceeded to call requesting they fix it, but then was blamed for not taking a picture of the speedometer when I dropped off the van- once again, I was not told I needed to do anything to return the van, let alone take a picture of the speedometer. I was told "that's what the employee said was the reading." The same employee that couldn't find the van that I previously returned. After escalating the issue further, it eventually got resolved. This will not be my first choice of location in the future, and if I need to use any Uhaul services moving forward, I know to take pictures of everything when I return the vehicle and request a receipt before leaving.

I wanted the pick up that wasn’t available so the site gave me the van and the guy at the location said I had to get safe trip insurance because I “walked in” when the screen asked if I wanted it he said, “ignore that, I got it. It felt strange and I only needed the van for 6 miles and it almost doubled the cost of the rental and my credit card has rental insurance. Feels like I got scammed because it was never disclosed on website that anything was mandatory

i reserved this truck thru our corporate account on our corporate credit card but when my employee goes to pick up the truck they make him provide a credit card thats in his name. this is the only location that gives us this problem. Thomas made the experience smooth. He was patient and understanding. He walked me through everything. My reason for the average ratings is because there’s no lightning inside my unit. I know the building is historic it’s just not convenient that the little lighting from the hall tends to dissipate once the items are loaded in.

We hired movers less than 12 hours later and took our belongings to a newer/cleaner storage facility. On move out day we got stuck in the elevator. We were stuck in there for 20 to 30 minutes. Had to call the fire department to come out and everything while we were in there killing time. We noticed the safety evaluation of the elevator expired 2 months ago. This is a serious problem. You cannot run a business and not certify the safety of your elevators. The kids who helped us out that were working that day were super nice and apologetic. I asked them to call their manager to see if we couldn't get a refund for the U-Haul we rented due to the unsafe situation they put us in. The manager's name was Norma Perez. The employee put her on speaker phone so I could ask my questions and her response was yeah no that's not going to happen. I told her the elevator was expired and she said yeah we know. This manager was extremely unprofessional. Did not apologize. Was not willing to work with us. I would think if you put customers in an unsafe situation that they can turn around and sue you for you might want to be a bit more respectful. I would really appreciate it if someone from customer service would reach out regarding this situation so I don't have to escalate it any further.

The loading dock height made it very difficult transferring items from car or truck onto dollies. The keypads to access the elevator and on the elevator were completely frustrating, required multiple sign-ins each time they were used (back and forth on/off the elevator). Then the unit was down endless halls because only one elevator was accessible. I couldn't wait to get out of here and to another facility for more, less expensive and more accessible space. BUT that being said, I have always been a happy U-haul customer renting vehicles and will continue to do so. Just not a fan of this storage facility.

Staff is beyond excellent. Building is gorgeous, nice and cool inside, and super clean. The pull-up docks make moving im and out super simple. Only negative is that the elevator is relatively small (not even tall), so not everything will fit in if you have something really oversized. Did I mention how great the staff is here? Overall, thos site / staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

The staff members were always incredibly rude no matter who I spoke to. My card never worked to get into the building and my code had to change constantly which was frustrating. The elevators were often under maintenance and roaches in my unit. The monthly rate went up to a price that was unaffordable for a small unit and much higher than other storage facilities. The stuff was very nice and helpful but my things that were in storage were RUINED. Water damage and gross substances (I’m not sure if rats got in there or what). Really gross and my stuff was in there for only about 6 months.

I came on Friday so my unit was ready when my movers come on Monday (7/31). It took awhile for them to find my reservation since I booked through corporate Uhaul it was not in their system. They were friendly and helpful the whole time. Since I was there over an hour they graciously gave me my first month free! I wish there was a light in the unit. It is dark. There was also a rodent box in the unit. It makes me worried but what can I do now? I am just hopeful it is not needed and my furniture etc will be safe from pests. This is my first storage experience - so far it has been great!

my unit was infested with cockroaches. I have pictures of feces, urine and dead cockroaches all over my stuff it took two weeks of exterminators, cleaning, and disposing of a lot of my things. is there someone to contact to open a claim? this was the worst experience I've ever had. I've never seen anything like this, I found at least 20 dead ones, 10 live ones, and everything I owned had poop and pee on it. How can you allow people to use your facility? there is no way this only happened to me and that you had no knowledge your storage units have this problem. I know its an old building but come on!

Elevator malfunctioning while moving in. Some of my items were locked inside the elevator and I couldn't access them. When elevator started working my belongings were moved to a floor where I didn't have access. Some of my items went missing and when I talked associates there. They only told me to contact the claims department without attempting to look into the issue .

The above average is due to staff going above and beyond to make sure we found a perfect storage unit even though they didn't have any available. The sizes are confusing on the website. I booked a unit for 2 rooms. I got there to find out that it was the size of a bathroom. Not sure wht 2 rooms are that size but okay. I was refunded my full amount without issues. The building is ridiculously old as well and we got stuck in the elevator and the intercom to call for help wasn't working.

Kevin is awesome—the definition of a great property manager. Building is tired—lots of termite droppings from active swarming and plenty of dead palmetto bugs when I moved out were hiding in and around my stuff—and they didn’t ride in on my stuff—this property needs better pest control, but it is Florida after all. The elevator was finally repaired after what seemed like 2+ years of issues. Uhaul always pulled my money out on time.

The only reason why I gave the rating I gave is when I moved out 11/20/21 I saw a pair of work boots chewed on some boxes chewed on ( saw that when I got some time to look at it) but when I was done moving out the storage and cleaning it I saw rat droppings some dead roaches. And I know its rate because moving in the storage I had to tell one of the employees that a dolly had rat droppings on it. But I already paid for my storage. I didn't complain (I should have because I paid for the insurance) but I didn't have time to i was moving between shifts at work.

I really did have a good experience using this facility. The only thing that I wish they would look into is a bigger elevator with AC. It’s like oxygen countdown once those doors close and I had a bit of a hard time getting my couch inn. But outside of that I have no complaints. The staff was great and helpful.

Upon arriving, there was a long line because there were only two store employees and one was on lunch. I easily waited 30 minutes before being helped. However, I didn’t mind because I was acknowledged and told I would be helped as soon as possible. Once I was helped, I was able to have the promotion honored and get my unit free for a month since I rented a truck which was super helpful because I just moved from Indiana. Since I was able to save money on storage that allowed me to be able to allocate those funds towards other expenses. Lastly, since there was only one employee working the store he couldn’t show me where my unit was but he told me to come back if I couldn’t find it. I attempted to find my unit but had no idea how to get to it since it was 102, a ground unit. However, I ran into mech 1, I believe, and she took me to my unit. I really appreciated how every employee even those not working in the store were super helpful and to me that’s what made my visit above average!

Carlos couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The issue is your outdated facility, the elevator broke down as we were starting, turning a one hour unload into a 3.5 hour job that cost over $350.00. After a delightful experience picking up the truck and a very nice driving experience to Florida, the unloading spoiled the entire experience.

However I rented a truck from them for my move , they gave it to me early, with only a little under a quarter tank and told me it was full. I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip. I feel that I deserve a adjustment of 60 dollars.
