The Jonesboro location gets 5 stars but the companies policies get a 1 star. I've rented utility trailers from Uhaul for years and now you've changed you policy recently to have a verified 2nd person to rent your trailers. I've used my brother who lives her locally since you've been requiring this process and yesterday they rejected him because at another location he had used his name for a guy who rented a van. After the van was returned, the location used my brothers name again without asking him if it was okay. The guy ran up the milage and didn't pay for it at that time so he end up owing over a $1000 to that location. They have now put a notification on my brothers phone number and I couldn't use him yesterday.

(1)During p/u verification the camera process never fully works. The link always get hung up part way through this process and you can’t finish. I’ve rented at least 3 times this year & that eq verification link gets hung up every time.. it’s very aggravating!

Hmmm.... took too long to leave this place fully equipped and ready to go not including my own extra reasons.. staff were short hindered live trailer attachment tutorial assistance, photo submittal, sticker placement for already damage to truck etc... but over all lady helped me with clear instructions on trailer connection which was awesome I mean clear she did an excellent job explaining this it was like a teacher that is to the point that will help students get an A ....

Always ask the customer about how many miles they expect use and don't assume. Also the gas was not where she said it was, it was less. The truck was very raggedy and drought rough,not worth the price. Truck was jerking a lot, the doors barely shut, and inside driver side was falling apart literally.

Make sure all the trucks are clean and there are no bugs running around in the back of the truck. My experience this time using U-Haul was not a good one other times have been no problem. I got a truck from U-Haul and when I did my check in the back of the truck, I found bugs were in the back and I brought it to the managers attention, but he didn’t want to switch out the truck like I asked and instead he said just have somebody clean it. I would’ve felt a lot more better if I would’ve just been able to swap the truck out.but he didn’t want make me feel more comfortable with the situation by swapping out the truck. Overall, U-Haul is a very good company. I think the bad situation about my recent or last purchase with U-Haul was that person at U-Haul?

I do not believe a customer should pick up a rental vehicle with an empty tank of gas from a rental company. This is bad customer service. I mentioned this to the representative at this Jonesboro location and she said to return it at the same level it was given to you and "that's just the way it is". I understand if there was actually some gas in the tank, but my vehicle had the low gas light on. This is the last thing you want to worry about the minute you step into renting a vehicle. If we have to pay $4 per gallon for returning a vehicle with a lower fuel than given to us, your employees should be putting that gas into the vehicle, not me!

Autopay ran up my balance by “NOT” retrieving funds causing me to have to figure out (during holidays) how to rectify. Last I heard all of my memories of my deceased mother are possibly auctioned with no fair resolution for me, customer service couldn’t even get anyone on the phone to provide information. When I would go there to get something out of storage, the lights would sometimes go out which made it uncomfortable and unsafe to be there especially being a female. Also, no grace period for a late payment. They put a lock on your door the next day, but when I moved out, they took their time to process it and made it look like I was late with another payment.

I rented my storage unit online and it said it had 24 hour access it also gave me a gate access code I just wished it was 24 hours. I work 12hr shift at hospital 5:45am - 6:15pm they are closed in the way to work and on the way back from work.

Great experience in store, not so much on the phone with customer service though. The lady at the store didn’t fix the problem but she explained it way better than customer service did. I would recommend going in store rather than calling the random customer service number, it’s not very helpful.

The email after paying on-line for storage was received. It said that I can start moving in as early as 5am for the location well I got there at 5 am and location didnt open up until about 10 minutes after 7am. So i think the email about moving in need to be fixed because this location dont allow until they open the office at 7am. I also arrive one day to move in more things around 6:50pm and was told that storage is closed 15 minutes before office closes and that wasnt communicated either. But he opened up and let me put my things in storage took all but like 3minutes. Better communication is needed.

Staff at this Uhaul in Jonesboro Ga. Are always polite and professional. They are willing to find the best deal for whatever storage or moving needs I have and do not try to sale me things I don't need just for profit. I feel content and satisfied after doing business with Uhaul, that I am spending my money the best way and got the most I could get. I appreciate that bc I work hard and it takes every dollar to stay current and provide for me and my son. Uhaul kept going up on rent.and my unit leaked and ruined my pitures of my 3 sons and family pitures.even the art work that is very cinamential.they even charged 25.00 for being a few hours past due on storage.they told me it's up to the computer how much to charge.i rented it for right near 5 years.and was never late,and sometimes I would pay it early.

It is 3 holes in my unit they were there before I moved in. I have pictures. The guy that checked us in was wonderful! He helped me and understood my concerns.

The manager there is very rude . And any time you talk to someone who says my facility ...and they don't own it ...you already know what you're going to get. There are several times that I called I stayed on hold more than 15 minutes and there has been times that I have called and that was a lot of horseplay and profanity in the background. I was not happy at all at this location.

I PURCHASED UNIT #2408 ON WEDNESDAY 21st of July I tried to move some things in my storage on Saturday 24th of July my gate access key didn't work I was stuck behind the gate and couldn't get out for three hours I called customer service I was on hold for 50 minutes they finally gave me a code to open the gate so that I can get out the very next morning I went back to to storage unit still my key wouldn't work I went to the front office and was told that an employee there had sold the storage unit that I purchased on Wednesday 21st of July to a Michael Wilson I was very disappointed because I had a delivery of a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but the delivery driver called in sick thank God or they would've been delivery to a storage unit that an employee sold to someone else that was supposed to have been my unit!! THE STORE MANAGER KEVON SMITH GAVE ME A LARGER UNIT FOR THE PRICE OF THE SMALLER UNIT THAT AN EMPLOYEE GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE TO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE WHICH WAS NICE BUT I STILL WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THAT UNIT BECAUSE ITS UPSTAIRS THE FLOORS ATE WOOD AND LOOKS AS IF THE FLOORS OPEN UP AND SOMEONE CAN ENTER MY UNIT FROM THE UNIT UNDERNEATH AND STEAL MY THINGS!!!

I have had my storage unit for several years and I am never late due to my account being on auto pay. Recently I had several fraud transactions on my bank account, and I was forced to cancel my card. Through the process of protecting myself, I didn't realize Uhaul was one of accounts connected to my card, and would be affected until I received a letter informing me. I called the location, and spoke to a lady that was very rude and unprofessional. She spoke over me and when I corrected her pronunciation of my name she mocked me. I also asked her about waiving my fees and she informed me that they would have needed to know in advance about my situation. I asked " so I needed to let you know in advance that someone would be committing fraud on my account?" I asked her for the Store Manager or customer service. She said she would transfer me to customer service, but I somehow got the Morrow location instead. The lady at the Morrow location successfully transferred me to customer service, but I was hold for an hour. The Jonesboro location need a lot of work on their customer service. During the time I have had my Uhaul storage, I have been locked in the storage facility by the staff, the restroom is always filthy, verbally attacked by a staff member for a delinquent account that was not mine, and now this. If you didn't include the people in this process , I would recommend Uhaul to my friends and family.

I had my stuff stored here since 2003 and was finally able to afford to move it out this month. Most of the time it was easy to make payments, there were a few months over the years I made a payment and they said I did not and tried to double charge me but I was able to call and the staff remedied the screw up. When I was finally able to pick my stuff up it was for the most part just dusty and cobwebs but so far have not found any rodent droppings or bugs that is a huge plus. I played for the whole month

The staff was very nice and friendly. I didn't need much but if i did ask for something the staff was very helpful. All of them are truly awesome. Thank you.

The staff were wonderful to me , I moved my things in The on sight storage for the 30 days,I had to wait on a closing date to move in my new house so the free 1 month storage helped out so much Thanks
