I asked the cashier if I could use a different card post rental, and she assured me that I could, and as I awaited with the accurate card in hand, she mistakenly pushed through the payment on the original card used. Please advise cashiers to slow down to speed up… because I can’t wait for a 3-10 day refund now, so I had to let it go.

My recent experience, dealing with U-Haul was not only negative, it actually made me fear for my safety.
The employee I dealt with was named Marcus, I believe. A cursed at me, threatened me, and tried to do physical bodily harm to me because I was questioning why the process was different this time versus the previous location I was at on the same day. Specifically I was questioning why he added additional miles on top of what I said I would be driving and why he was taking my picture because the previous location did not do that. At that point, he got upset started calling me the N-word and yelling at me because I told him that was not my name and I was a customer. He then told me to come outside so he could “kick my ass”.
This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had as a customer in my life. The person I dealt with, has no business being employed by any business or corporation that intends to be professional and treat their customers with respect. My identity has been compromise several times, so I was naturally curious as to why he was taking my picture and why he had to immediately call the person I listed as my emergency contact when the previous location that I attempted to rent with didn’t do any of those things. All he had to do was explain the policies he was required to follow. Instead, he decided to turn to someone else and ask them to finish helping me because I was “…tripping…” and “…giving him a hard fucking time for no reason…”. I’ll be leaving a Google, better business bureau, and consumer reports review reflecting my experience being threatened and cursed at for asking questions. The young man that I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with belongs in a completely different line of work that does not include the need for basic customer service or civil human interaction skills.
On top of all this, the truck I was given had the check engine light on and severe transmission issues. I told the GM immediately before leaving and she said I had to keep it because their machine said it was safe to drive… I was worried about breaking down the whole day I had the truck.
At this point, I do not feel safe or comfortable returning the vehicle I rented back to that location and couldn’t recommend any other customer ever visiting.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience.
When I arrived at the location, the vehicle was not ready. I had already completed the mobile check-in process, but the representative insisted on checking me in again, which caused an unnecessary delay of approximately 10–15 minutes. Despite my explaining and showing proof on the app that I had already checked in and was simply waiting for the keys, he continued attempting the process and encountered repeated errors.
The situation escalated when a manager (a woman with green-tipped hair) was called over. Unfortunately, her demeanor was rude and condescending. When I explained that I was waiting for the keys while showing her the app screen at the same time and had been informed the van was not yet clean, she responded dismissively, saying, “Well, get the keys then.”
She briefly checked on the vehicle, confirmed it was not ready, and then returned and handed the keys over in a dismissive manner. When I attempted to clarify my concern, that I had only rented the van for two hours and did not want to lose time waiting she threw the keys on the counter and walked away to assist another customer without addressing my concern.
This experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and far below the level of customer service I expected. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed and appropriate steps taken to ensure better communication and professionalism in the future.

My rear view mirror on my truck continued to point down during my drive. I was constantly fixing it on my trip.The gas meter was not where it was said to be at upon driving the U-Haul . I hired this moving company to load my belongings into a U-Haul, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The movers arrived two hours late, which caused me to be late signing my lease. Despite their delay, I was still charged an additional $30 for driving the U-Haul.
During the move, one of my dressers was broken. My items were packed into the truck carelessly, without proper organization or protection. They also took apart my table and twin bed without informing me beforehand and then refused to reassemble them unless I made an additional payment. When I explained that previous movers had not needed to disassemble these items, I was told that I “should have booked them” instead.

The Jonesboro location gets 5 stars but the companies policies get a 1 star. I've rented utility trailers from Uhaul for years and now you've changed you policy recently to have a verified 2nd person to rent your trailers. I've used my brother who lives her locally since you've been requiring this process and yesterday they rejected him because at another location he had used his name for a guy who rented a van. After the van was returned, the location used my brothers name again without asking him if it was okay. The guy ran up the milage and didn't pay for it at that time so he end up owing over a $1000 to that location. They have now put a notification on my brothers phone number and I couldn't use him yesterday.

(1)During p/u verification the camera process never fully works. The link always get hung up part way through this process and you can’t finish. I’ve rented at least 3 times this year & that eq verification link gets hung up every time.. it’s very aggravating!

Autopay ran up my balance by “NOT” retrieving funds causing me to have to figure out (during holidays) how to rectify. Last I heard all of my memories of my deceased mother are possibly auctioned with no fair resolution for me, customer service couldn’t even get anyone on the phone to provide information. When I would go there to get something out of storage, the lights would sometimes go out which made it uncomfortable and unsafe to be there especially being a female. Also, no grace period for a late payment. They put a lock on your door the next day, but when I moved out, they took their time to process it and made it look like I was late with another payment.

I rented my storage unit online and it said it had 24 hour access it also gave me a gate access code I just wished it was 24 hours. I work 12hr shift at hospital 5:45am - 6:15pm they are closed in the way to work and on the way back from work.

Great experience in store, not so much on the phone with customer service though. The lady at the store didn’t fix the problem but she explained it way better than customer service did. I would recommend going in store rather than calling the random customer service number, it’s not very helpful.

The email after paying on-line for storage was received. It said that I can start moving in as early as 5am for the location well I got there at 5 am and location didnt open up until about 10 minutes after 7am. So i think the email about moving in need to be fixed because this location dont allow until they open the office at 7am. I also arrive one day to move in more things around 6:50pm and was told that storage is closed 15 minutes before office closes and that wasnt communicated either. But he opened up and let me put my things in storage took all but like 3minutes. Better communication is needed.

Staff at this Uhaul in Jonesboro Ga. Are always polite and professional. They are willing to find the best deal for whatever storage or moving needs I have and do not try to sale me things I don't need just for profit. The manager there is very rude . And any time you talk to someone who says my facility ...and they don't own it ...you already know what you're going to get. There are several times that I called I stayed on hold more than 15 minutes and there has been times that I have called and that was a lot of horseplay and profanity in the background. I was not happy at all at this location.

I PURCHASED UNIT #2408 ON WEDNESDAY 21st of July I tried to move some things in my storage on Saturday 24th of July my gate access key didn't work I was stuck behind the gate and couldn't get out for three hours I called customer service I was on hold for 50 minutes they finally gave me a code to open the gate so that I can get out the very next morning I went back to to storage unit still my key wouldn't work I went to the front office and was told that an employee there had sold the storage unit that I purchased on Wednesday 21st of July to a Michael Wilson I was very disappointed because I had a delivery of a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but the delivery driver called in sick thank God or they would've been delivery to a storage unit that an employee sold to someone else that was supposed to have been my unit!! THE STORE MANAGER KEVON SMITH GAVE ME A LARGER UNIT FOR THE PRICE OF THE SMALLER UNIT THAT AN EMPLOYEE GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE TO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE WHICH WAS NICE BUT I STILL WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THAT UNIT BECAUSE ITS UPSTAIRS THE FLOORS ATE WOOD AND LOOKS AS IF THE FLOORS OPEN UP AND SOMEONE CAN ENTER MY UNIT FROM THE UNIT UNDERNEATH AND STEAL MY THINGS!!!

I have had my storage unit for several years and I am never late due to my account being on auto pay. Recently I had several fraud transactions on my bank account, and I was forced to cancel my card. Through the process of protecting myself, I didn't realize Uhaul was one of accounts connected to my card, and would be affected until I received a letter informing me. I called the location, and spoke to a lady that was very rude and unprofessional. She spoke over me and when I corrected her pronunciation of my name she mocked me. I also asked her about waiving my fees and she informed me that they would have needed to know in advance about my situation. I asked " so I needed to let you know in advance that someone would be committing fraud on my account?" I asked her for the Store Manager or customer service. She said she would transfer me to customer service, but I somehow got the Morrow location instead. The lady at the Morrow location successfully transferred me to customer service, but I was hold for an hour. The Jonesboro location need a lot of work on their customer service. During the time I have had my Uhaul storage, I have been locked in the storage facility by the staff, the restroom is always filthy, verbally attacked by a staff member for a delinquent account that was not mine, and now this. If you didn't include the people in this process , I would recommend Uhaul to my friends and family.

I had my stuff stored here since 2003 and was finally able to afford to move it out this month. Most of the time it was easy to make payments, there were a few months over the years I made a payment and they said I did not and tried to double charge me but I was able to call and the staff remedied the screw up. When I was finally able to pick my stuff up it was for the most part just dusty and cobwebs but so far have not found any rodent droppings or bugs that is a huge plus. I played for the whole month

Staff person was not available when I arrived. I called in advance and spoke with the call center and explained that I would be arriving. No one was there til 3. I had to reschedule. Delayed for 1hr.

All associates need to be on the same page when signing people up for vehicles. 1 woman associate enforced a rule that your number had to be called to rent a car and my phone was dead charging .
