GREGORY JNeeded to drop Off trailer at a different location. I made an appointment for trailer and when it asked me if I wanted to drop Off at different location if said optional. When I showed up and told them I wanted to drop Off at a different location they told me they didn’t have any one way and the only way to rent it to me was to drop it back off to them. Being in a bind I didn’t have a choice so I rented anyway. So a 182 miles round trip to drop off a trailer back to the same location I think was a little excessive. Purple hair lady was not the friendliest and actually more of a smart ass in her tone. Everyone else was fabulous at the location. Being in business myself, I understand that situations come up and people’s attitudes. She definitely needs a class in kindness. If she was my employee I would have written her up for poor behavior. It wasn’t just my situation, I saw her handle another couple and it was the same way if not worse because they spoke poor English.

I will not waste my effort on looking for a reply from you on this matter therefore, i will not use your contact form to get your automated response.
GREGORY JAt first the location was great. But the influx of homeless encounters inside living units started making going to get things uncomfortable. Having them sitting with doors open and eating and sleeping became uncomfortable. Elevator being out of order did not make it easy going up and down to floors to retrieve items. Maintenence on haul vehicles also led to nails, screws and parts being driven over as you are unable to see these driving in.

NAYIB SWe were overcharged by a day for the rental that we returned on Sunday at 3:30 pm. Amber Kay received the trailer. We have been following up with daily calls to customer care to get the over charged amount back. Every time they say that the manager will get back in half an hour and we have heard nothing back so far. Will try again today.
THOMAS OI stopped by in person to reserve a trailer for the next morning and I was told I could not pick it up until 1:30 the next afternoon. I came home and reserved it online for 9 am which is when I wanted it. It would be nice if the information at the location matched the information online. The clerk the next day was working the counter by herself when I arrived and there were 3 people waiting in addition to the customer she was helping. In her haste to get to the next customer after helping me she forgot to give me the dolly I rented. After driving off I had to return to pick it up.
Jack HThey did not have all the equipment we reserved. We got shuffled around to different locations. Initialy given a truck that had bald tires to travel 1800 miles. We insisted another truck which was eventually accommodated.

SHARNICE CThe car we hualed fell off the dolly at a gas station!! We made a turn and it fell the mechanism of the straps gave out and drop the tire to roll forward and damaged my truck I would never use that damn dolly again it was miserable

VINCENT PRented truck yesterday that barely started, almost stranded us a couple times. The rental process now is much more arduous than before, and quite costly compared to just months ago. I should not have had to jump through so many hoops security-wise, given that I least two of your storage bldgs already. Now, regarding storage - two weeks ago, my storage rental at the same facility was 'moved out' in the system by some unknown employee. I could not access it, and indeed you had no record of me in the system any longer. Thank God the contents in the room remained, or we would have been a BIG problem; these are my very old mother-in-law's possessions. This issue in particular is why I am moving out of the same storage room presently. Sorry, a very poor situation given your supposed technology. I will say at least that the woman helping me search through the system problem to regain access - was extremely friendly, helpful and apologetic. _Dan Williams

yudimar a | Overall ExperienceUHAUL Web based application in store unreliable. Not providing staff to "make ready" the rentals leaves it up to the custoner to find vehical, clean windows, and do the walk around themselves, keeping in mind that this is on the customers rental time.
STEPHEN BI have rented a number of times from this location and when I rented the last time it was demanded that I tell my emergency contact that he needed to answer his phone because they needed to verify my contact was real. When asked for an explanation, the very rude lady would not provide me an answer. After explaining to my partner that he needed to answer the phone in order to speak with U-Haul, he did. I felt like I was a criminal and doing something wrong.
Ray SDoors to unit way too small, lighting inside unit limited. Hallways absolutely a mess if anyone else was trying to move at the same time, a lot of corners made big furniture a disaster. But security seemed good and staff was friendly.

Amber told me she was unable to extend my reservation for another day and said if I drove the truck a cop would get behind me, run the license plates and discover that I was driving a stolen vehicle. When I returned the key Amber was rude and asked if the actual truck was brought back. She made another associate go outside and told her she needed to make sure the truck was actually running. The way Amber treated me was very unprofessional and I will never use U-Haul again for this reason.

When I arrived to the Uhaul in Katy, I was denied entry due to an access card that was needed to check in, Regardless having an access code. The office was already closed so I couldn't get any help and I missed a mega bus back to Austin which was extremely upsetting. The next day after I unloaded all my belongings and I completed all check in lists I was charged $30. No detailed description was given in a receipt why I was charged $30. I will be contacting a member of management to complain and request a refund for the $30.

I moved my things out with out any further incident. The auto payment really helped me while I was tracking bills for 2 houses in 2 different states.

Her personality and attention to detail made me feel so comfortable. I met her on Thursday and hoped when I scheduled to come back Saturday, she would be there because we ended up making last minute decisions. She is the best. I just found out she is the General Manager, and I am NOT surprised. I am still in AWE on how she made everything happen in MINUTES, I mean minutes. We left our key home, went to get it, came back, and everything was ready for us to unpack and go since we had an Ubox. The team around her was also very nice, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I am blessed to live close to this location, and I hope to pop back inside to say hello!!!

I was disappointed with experiencing miscommunication regarding auto payment for my shipment. And when I originally reserved the storage online 11.5.23 my next monthly payment reflect 1.6.24 but when I arrived in person and upgraded the next payment was for 12.6.23. I have spent too much with doing business at UHaul for this to happen upon my arrival as a first time customer.
DEBRA S | Online Move InPrior to the end of my lease, there was an issue with the back fence where it had been pried open. Due to the population around the facility that worried me sometimes however, sadly prior to moving out, I discovered that the unit I was renting was not up to standard, and due to heavy rains that had not occurred during my lease half of my items were destroyed by water. These items included household furniture, furnishings, clothing, and shoes. The other items that were in paper boxes, if they were not destroyed, severe mildew and mold.

Brenda B | First ImpressionsRude/unpleasant staff with absolutely no patience.. looks like they had a new girl there and she’s asking them for help w/ the look of confusion on her face, they’re brushing her off and speaking to her as tho she’s irritating them in front of customers. They provided a storage unit, on the 3rd floor, wayyyyyy to the back. I asked if they had anything closer near the elevator and she advised that’s all they had.. when I got to the 3rd floor with my first load, immediately off of the elevator were green tags for available units leading to the back of the bldg where my storage unit was. So she in fact lied about availability. And it’s supposed to be climate controlled, no air was circulating, through out the bldg, nor the elevator. I didn’t even bother going back to the office because I had already driven 15 hrs from FL. Neglecting to mention I couldn’t even return my vehicle in at the same facility where my storage unit was reserved. Uhaul sent me 15 min out the way to return my vehicle.
