It took 6 days to get an account closed out after telling the manager on-site, texting the manager on the 24-hour access message, closing out on line, calling customer service. Finally had to show up in person to get it closed out. Apparently they had the unit already cleaned out, a new lock placed on it but someone forgot to press ‘submit’ to close out.

Brenda B. | First ImpressionsRude/unpleasant staff with absolutely no patience.. looks like they had a new girl there and she’s asking them for help w/ the look of confusion on her face, they’re brushing her off and speaking to her as tho she’s irritating them in front of customers. They provided a storage unit, on the 3rd floor, wayyyyyy to the back. I asked if they had anything closer near the elevator and she advised that’s all they had.. when I got to the 3rd floor with my first load, immediately off of the elevator were green tags for available units leading to the back of the bldg where my storage unit was. So she in fact lied about availability. And it’s supposed to be climate controlled, no air was circulating, through out the bldg, nor the elevator. I didn’t even bother going back to the office because I had already driven 15 hrs from FL. Neglecting to mention I couldn’t even return my vehicle in at the same facility where my storage unit was reserved. Uhaul sent me 15 min out the way to return my vehicle.

Oscar A. | Overall ExperienceI came in to rent a U-Haul storage unit was not explained any of the access information by the person who helped open my storage unit. I called and spoke to representative who told me that I could not gain access until the next morning at 8:00 AM due to the sliding door closing promptly at 5:00 PM on Sunday. Therefore, I had to leave all my personal belongings in the hall on the second floor because I was not able to get back inside the building to secure my items and lock the unit. An employee should have provided a tour of the property and showed how to properly utilize the sliding door and the after hours man door that nobody said anything about. Worst experience ever renting a storage. When I called this morning, another representative told me that I could access my unit from 5 AM until 10 PM! The inconsistencies of information provided on access times and lack of customer service in showing me how to use the key card to access the building are my issues and concerns.
