In all the years I've ever rented any type of vehicle I've never had someone not allow me to leave before they had checked all of the lights on a vehicle to make sure they still work. Are you kidding me? I had the truck for 2 hours. If a light had burned out I sure as fuck am not paying for a replacement. They should also make sure that the fuel mark on an out going truck matches up with the paperwork that customers are given. My bad for not confronting them on this before I left but I didn't think that I would be dealing with a bunch of goddamn nazis when I returned it. Next time I will use a budget truck.

Schedule more employees for weekend schedule. When I picked up my vehicle it was fine because there was no line, but when I came to return my vehicle there was a long line and only one employee assisting customers.

my one complaint is the misleading advertising on the cost of equipment. You proudly advertise $19 a day, which, as you should know by now, is never, ever true. My rental, for instance, costs TEN times as much, and that seems to be the norm. Why not just be honest about the cost?

As when we return the truck was unaware of having to take a pic of the odometer before we had placed the keys into the drop. Hoping that dont cause extra fees. As everything else was clovered and returned with a full tank of fuel.

The sales representative did not tell me that the rental location would be closed at 3 PM. I had to make another 1 1/2 hour round trip to check out the next day. I would have checked out before 3 PM if I had known.

I thought we were getting a Uhaul for $155, which is what the website says, plus minimal insurance. We were billed over $234. NOT OKAY. No one is happy with UHAUL's new "streamlined" way of doing business. Honesty and integrity are still valued in society.

The truck was reserved well in advance of pickup but was found with a broken windshield (crack across the entire window) and bald tire when we arrived. The clerk's response was "That's OK, we have 24 hour road service." The billing was wrong as compared to the reservation details and it took two days to resolve that. The second truck also had mechanical issues and was not well prepped for rental. We were unable to reach anyone there by phone before rollover to corporate (better than 6 attempts). There were other contributing factors to this poor score.

This is the first time I have rented a U-Haul I always had my own truck. I noticed white cat hairs on the passenger seat - for some people that would be a problem. Other than that it was great to have the van for running errands and then turning it back when I finished. It was the first time I used a back-up camera - that was helpful.

Originally rented from Brattleboro VT - was transfered to here - great people. Uhaul could have done better with communicating the change of locations and pick up time prior to the 24 hour notice - our moving team lost 4 hours waiting until 12pm and the owner of this stoire said that truck was sitting there all morning.

Amanda at the Keene N.H. location was great. She helped us select the right vehicle for our needs, and was courteous at all times, even though she was extremely busy. Would highly recommend - our experience was great.

Check in after hours web site was not easy, I received a confirmation which did not register on account; so I was charged an extra day. Made an extra trip to refund and properly charge for rental. Truck smelled like cigarettes yuck! Most employees were helpful and polite. Truck ran well and easy to drive.

I rented the vehicle for a 6am pick up but it wasn't ready. Myself and the moving team had to wait until 7am for the store to open to get the vehicle. I also declined the use of a dolly or moving blankets as I already own both. However they were fastened to the wall of the truck. This took up 3 cuibc foot of space and was ultimately just in the way. I had already downgraded from a 26' to a 20' truck because you didn't have the larger one available on that day. It also resulted in one of my volunteer movers using the dolly when I wasn't looking and thus committing me to the expense. I know it was intended as a convenience and is one of your revenue streams, but I found it a major annoyance.

The customer service was terrible. The entire check in took a very long time. There was only one person working in the front and he clearly was new. We could hear the other employees talking in the back when they should have been out front training the new employee.

A couple of concerns. The rates are much higher than comparable storage facilities. The fact that you are made to buy a uhaul lockseems unfair costing the customer even more money.

The manager at the Keene NH store was very rude! They failed to mention that you have to buy a uhaul lock and use ONLY a Uhaul lock plus all the added fees and only access the unit during store hours!
