You can improve by not giving away reservations for storage units. Twice in 2 months my reserved unit was given away, the last time I had to take a U-Box. This is so wrong.Richard R.
I had an excellent experience with this U-Haul rental. The equipment was in top shape and served me well. Of utmost importance was the very superior service provided by the customer service associate, AMANDA, at the time of my initial query, at the time of vehicle and storage unit sign-up, at the time of vehicle pickup, and at the time of vehicle return. All of Amanda's customer service demonstrated pro- fessionalism, efficiency, and knowledge of U-Haul products and services. At one occasion while waiting my turn in line, I had the occasion to witness how well Amanda handled customer questions in person and over the phone. Amanda is a superior customer service rep. Her business-like yet friendly style is a real plus. In terms of U-Haul knowledge, I've seen no other UH rep who was better. UH has a marvelous employee in Amanda. RETAIN AND PROMOTE!Charles B.

Go over the vehicle for damage with the customer before it leaves the lot. I was charged a deductible for a broken windshield I noticed five minutes after I left the lot. Spoke to a very rude regional manager Jerry at the Springfield, MA office. I wound up getting my card refunded by filing a dispute with the credit card company. Accused of lying by the manager at the Keene NH store (name Amanda) and treated very poorly overall.DANA JON C.

Location good. Every time I rent I'm pressed to have the equipment back. They honestly need another trailer on site. The past couple days I've rented from tractor supply. I was unaware tractor supply had a rental trailer at cheaper rates... uhaul should consider a frequent visitor discount also. It's just good business.Scott S.

This is not a reflection on the Keene U-Haul group. The truck was very loud. Door seals need address as My wife and I had to screen to each other when talking. Lots of outside noise. Also not sure if all trucks are the same but no cruise control is not fun on highway.Brian E.

The manager started out normally but became forcefully unpleasant, raised her voice and was defensive and in the end not helpful. Uhaul had changed the location of pick up ....but not the pickup of packing materials. She could easily have had us cancel the order and buy them from her store but instead we had to go all the way to Brattleboro to get boxes we had ordered.stephanie K.

Space needed for a large truck to load and unload is too tricky. Just forget about going on a Saturday because there just isn't enough room for everyone who will show up. Managerâ€”Amanda, I believeâ€”lacks people skills. Card readers to access the indoor units work about 50% of the time. Ask for an access code instead.Stacey S.

Truck smelled like cigarettes, and water leaked onto some of my boxes from outside. Also, the washer fluid did not work at all. Not ideal considering the winter storm I had to drive through. Could not see. Then, to add insult to injury, I'm charged twice for renting the pads, even though they're returned, and then some random $5 â€œsafe tripâ€ fee. You charge for returning the equipment without damage??! On top of all that, I returned the equipment last night, but was charged until today because the app didn't work right. Refused to see my location. Would not recommend uhaul in the future. The staff at the location was very friendly and helpful, until I returned the equipment.William M.
I selected to come in durring normal business hours to collect my refund. Instead they issued a check to be mailed to me, so now I have to wait 3-5 business days just to get the check and then pay to cash the check, and all I got was an im sorry.Jeremy S.

We needed a unit for only a few months. I was able to secure it the day needed within hours of dropping off our belongings for storage, access was very easy, with the tools required to transfer everything from the truck to the unit, and vice versa. The wiring on the trailer was not working when I picked it up, causing a delay. The staff was great in taking care of it, but I wonder why it was not operable to begin witih. My low scores are a reflection of your booking system. I called on the phone and was told my preferred size trailer was not available so I opted for a larger, more expensive one. After the phone call I went onto your website and found the trailer I wanted was available at this site and I reserved that one on line. Before I could cancel the first option, I received a call telling me that trailer was available at a location 40 minutes away. This is the third time I have booked a trailer in Keene, gone through providing all the towing car, personal ID and credit card information only to be told after the fact that the trailer was not available in Keene and I would have to drive up to an hour away to get it. This is a "bait and switch" approach that is intentionally built in to your booking system and is unethical. You should not be entitled to my personal info if the product is not available at the site that you indicate. If there was an option to UHaul I would use it but there is not and that is probably why you can get by with this dishonest approach.MICHAEL R C.

The floor of the enclosed trailer was not clean. This wasn't seen by the naked eye. Our belongings that were on the floor were black with a greasy substance. I'm having difficulty getting it out. Please be sure that the trailers are thoroughly cleaned prior to renting. Thank you.Bonnie B.
I tried to rent a car carrier from this location originally they did not have one. They said someone would call me to try and locate one. After 2 days called them back and they said could be Saturday night. I needed for Sunday so I located a trailer in ct where I was picking up the car and had to pay extra for one wayGARY L.

Our biggest issue was the difficulty of setting up an account when we checked in. We already had an account & a unit. We were just adding another unit. We had to do the whole process as if it was a new unit & then they signed us up for the wrong unit so had to do the process all over again. Then the key card we were given didn’t work.
