The people that check trucks in always go lower than where the gas actually is to make extra money it has been done to me on several occasions where I have it exactly where I got it and they charge me for gas saying its not at the correct amount

I made my reservation through your online system, including the truck and equipment, and paid and completed the online checkin process. When I arrived at the location, the truck was nowhere to be found, and I was not able to complete the pickup as advertised. The staff was helpful, but there was some confusion that took a while to straighten out. My payment was not registered, and I left the lot without a contract, which I assumed would be sent electronically. The staff called me shortly after I left the lot and took care of everything by phone, and I was able to send a photo of the mileage and fuel level electronically in order to complete the contract. If the online process had gone as intended, this would have been a great experience. I have faith that this new process will be refined and I intend to take advantage of this new convenience in the future.

I rented a 5x5 unit from Kingwood, preparing for my upcoming move. They were busy, I was shown the unit's location, left with a stair ladder which I personally didn't feel comfortable climbing; told to check the unit and put the cumbersome ladder away myself; then meet back inside to get my access card (which I had to stand in line Again to recieve). He asked was the unit okay, I said, "We'll see after the 1st. I'm moving from a 25 x 10 unit of 4 years and will still need to keep a storage unit of some size.". I was told that other, larger units were available if needed, and I left the store with that 'option'. I was left a message 2 days later, and again on day #3 because I hadn't gone back and placed a lock, or any items into the storage unit yet. The number I was called from was unmanned? I never reached a live person at the Kingwood store... *Note* Most people move on or about the first of the month, which landed midweek just last week. I also specified After the 1st... Moreover, There was no call to alert me to the fact that the inconvenient, 2nd floor, 5x5 unit, accessible only by a jagged step ladder at Kingwood U-Haul was cancelled- exactly 2 weeks & a day into the 1 month rental... Thanks for the survey to let me know of the cancellation. More accessible units/contracts exist... The helpful, friendly, busy, Kingwood staff could've called/left a message first.

The service was slow and the employees were not trained properly. Peoples time is very valuable and slowness is not part of the equation. I had reserved a 5x8 small open trailer online prior to my arrival and they didn't have it on the premise. It took 30 minutes to figure out what had happened. Frustrating.

15 foot truck is really only 12 foot. Wait times were terrible - what was the point of reserving and giving all that information when we did everything all over again. Truly horrible. Truck handled and drove well.

Was short 1 container from our original recommendation and had to order 1 at the last minute and adjust the original contract - this jumped the price up 2300$. Original price for the 2 containers was not honored. Would've appreciated if the original $1900 (2 boxes) would've been honored and a 3rd container added separately. The containers were also told that they were delivered on the 20th; had to call on the 25th to set up a delivery to my house after being told we would be contacted within the next day (21st). Everyone was lovely and helpful between both CA and TX (movers, Uhaul staff, customer service), but it simply sounds like a lack of communication between facilities and online platforms.

I'm super short so the only two problems I had was trying to see out the right side mirror, I tried to adjust it but it wouldn't move. Then I couldn't reach the the door to the back haha but I knew that was coming because I'm 5”1 but it got stuck whenever I was done moving things into my storage unit, and there was no getting it down. 😂 but over all there t was a great experience

First time customer. My original booking, which I made a month in advance, was moved to this location the day before, which annoyed me a lot. However, at the location I was served by Albert Rodriguez who helped me hook up the trailer and make sure everything was in order. He went out of his way to ensure the electrical hookups were good - I could see other colleagues asking him for guidance. Would probably return because of his service.

Ask for specific measurements of a cabin for a shipment of supplies to go to lake Charles where I was to leave the uhaul. They assured me the truck would suit my needs. I picked it up at another location in which I didn't not book at which was an hour away from my home. I got to my office realized the truck would not fit my load. I returned it to the original location on where I booked and requested a refund Only to be told by manager that I could get a $13 refund bc I had already drove off and put 10 miles on the truck. Horrible experience

If the commutation was better and what i was told would have only happened things might have been better. But unfortunately it didn't happen sadly I was told that someone would be calling the day before it did not happen. I only received an email the morning of after being on the phone for a while on a recording which was not to helpful when you needed to ask questions "REALLY" that's not good because only a email that told me where to pick up and drop-off and I was told to let them know the place I was going to drop off the truck. Also I ask for a dolly and didn't received one I ask about it but was told it was none. This doesn't Set well with me. I have been renting a storage from you guys for a few years i have been faithfully paying my bill and this behavior was not to pleasant for me. I need to speak to someone in the corporate office. Someone please contact me.

Put all equipment paid for in truck instead of making the customer drive back for it. Also make the drop box for the self service visible and match what is on the app. Also maybe don't make the customer who chose to do the self service wait inside in a line to pick up their keys when the app says that is not how it should work.

I initially booked at a location near my home and a representative called me after I made the reservation and told me the car hauler was not there and booked me at another location. I went early this morning to pick up the hauler and 5 minutes before I arrived the rep called once more and told me the location that she booked for the second time didn't have a hauler. I was so disappointed and vowed to take my business elsewhere as I needed the hauler right away. For the third time the rep booked me for another location which was 20 minutes out of my route. I was so displeased with the service as I expected more from UHaul.

When I arrived I would say things were in a state of chaos, there were two employees running in and out of the building. The two checking people in were at a loss on how to get the computers working efficiently. The gentleman who checked me in kept having to restart the reservation process, having to redo mine 3 times and assured me nothing had changed from the reservation we made on line. The process of checking in took almost 45 minutes. Once I was assigned my equipment I received no help attaching it to my truck as I stated before, the employees were running around in chaos and weren't available to help me. As for the equipment I rent it was clean and in good working order and I have no complaints. I will say the trailer had moving blankets in it and when I found someone to notify, I was told to keep them. I left them in the trailer and returned them with the equipment. When we made our reservation we selected customer unsure on the return site due to having to drive to the other side of town to get the equipment and we wanted to return it on our side of town for our convince. When I tried to return the equipment next to my house I was told that the reservation was changed to return where I picked it up and would have to pay double after I was assured the reservation was the day. I tried calling customer service, which as it turns out is a misnomer. They were absolutely no help and basically all I got was a “sorry”. So as your customer do too many incompetent service failures at point of pick up I had to return the equipment to the other side of town.

I've never rented or used UHAUL equipment or load vehicles, but this experience was not the greatest. The employees at the Kingwood location lacked enthusiasm, and confidence in their jobs. Lastly as a suggestion for payment plans, stop charging for unknown mileage usage until it's time to fully charge the customer. Or charge the customer and stop holding a pre-authorization amount. This is such an inconvenience. Think about different ways do business.

I was very upset by the fact that no where on your site did it indicate what kind of connector is required when renting a covered trailer. I got stuck with an unexpected charge and I did not appreciate the up charge attic. You need to do better at informing customers all that is required. The staff was excellent and the facility was clean.

I have rented moving vehicles/storage units at the Kingwood Uhaul and storage multiple times in the last year. Every time the employees are helpful and friendly, even had an employee help me load an item into a vehicle from storage. The storage unit's have been clean and I felt confident my belongings would be safe. The trucks/van I have rented were in good shape and available on my reservation and at pickup. If I need a uhaul or storage again, I will return to this location.

Terrible. Terrible. The building was poorly maintained. Not even a month into having a unit there it rained and my unit flooded. It was climate controlled. I lost almost everything. Horrible place.
