The person I got the key from was very rude. He had apparently started assigning the van I was checking out online for to a walk in and proceeded to tell me I needed to cancel my reservation and make a new one with him even though I had already been charged as part of the check in process online. When I said I would rather not because I had already started the check in and my card had been charged he told me that wasn't his problem. I said I'd prefer to keep the reservation as is so as to not have any issues with the system etc and he said whatever and shoved the key at me.Ryan G.

The attendant did walk me 3/4 the way to the vehicle, but then did not walk around it with me. There was damage to the hood that I assume they know is there but I did not. I was worried that I would be charged for it. Also, I was charged extra money for mileage which is impossible to estimate, but was not reimbursed for the additional gallons of gas that I put in the vehicle over the 1/2 tank that I was required to return with. If Uhaul is going to take money for added miles, they should also see the fuel as a way to make up the difference. The attendant that helped with my contract was great. He was good with small talk while he was making sure payments were taken and information was correct in the system.Austin S.

The remote check-in process is convoluted to the point of being absurd. The number of pictures is ridiculous. Alternatively, charging me $20 to do your own job is equally stupid. Among other things, tell us we need to do it BEFORE we drop the keys off instead of me reading a text after the fact. All of that aside, the team working at this location is great. The check-in process is not their fault and shouldn't take anything away from the great service they give.Jason S.
Excellent! Excellent!! Arrived on time, picked up on time, delivered flawlessly, even provided an early pick back up after we unloaded. Super awesome and professional driver. The only hiccup we had was I ordered 6 pods. 6 pods came but for some reason when they came to pick up they said I should only have 5 pods. I had 6 so the driver was confused. I ordered 6 got 6 and the ticket said I only had 5 to pick up. Regardless the pod system was so helpful for our 80 year old parents to pack at their pace. Another little issue was the email confirmations were confusing. I received two different emails that gave me different pick up times. I was frustrated with that and had to call because I had originally needed an early pick up and got an email the day before that said they weren't going to be there until 5-6 pm. The actual truck schedule had me before 1230. He was actually there by 10:30. Since we were closing on the house we needed to have all the pods picked up and out by by 3 o'clock so I was upset when the email came in and said they weren't coming until 5 o'clock after the original email 3 weeks earlier said between 11-12. Regardless the pod rental system is perfect for us. Thank you!Angie C.

WONDERFUL...U-Haul service was wonderful over-all especially the timing, it was pitch perfect. Said date, said time 100% can trust their handling and service. The containers looks small when we measured it initially at a nearby U-Haul shop but is holding a lot. As we measured it can hold 45 U-Haul boxes size of 18x18x24. Two issues I faced. 1. The customer service, you will keep.looped to somebody else and hard to reach the right person, may be it is because the uniqueness of my request. 2. The furniture pads. They give 24 pads per container which was 48n or my two containers. Once you are done you'll have to fold them, seriously it was hard. They are kind of heavy and lot of debris, you'll get breathing trouble wear masks better. These are minor issues, but.you can really consider U-Haul for the move. They also arranged for,helpers for unloading things on request that is another wonderful thing. I was considering PODS, other movers. But I feel it's the right choife to go.with U-Haul. My friend moved before me, got his things after 43 days, but I got in two weeks as promised.ANTONY A.

I had the occasion to rent 12ft. trailers twice, this week. Both times I was checked back in by John on your afternoon crew. Upon returning the second rental, early Saturday evening, we found that the moving crew had left an 8ft. folding table in the trailer. Rather than letting it become a problem, John was all "solution". He was kind enough to offer to simply place it in the "ReUse" "Green room" for someone else, And, with that, he lifted the big table onto a rolling cart and took it away. Although he has always been very pleasant and extremely OCD efficient, he went well beyond what I had any right to expect. " Thank You, John !" 😊 MarkMark R.

This location had it together!!! They were amazing! From the moment we drove up until we left. And they were so great working out the problem with our trailer that was the fault of where we picked it up in Louisiana. The originating UHaul place put the wrong trailer on our car - and when we dropped it off here - they quickly made it right in the system so we had the correct paperwork. A+++++ UHaul Place!!DANNY D.

The rubber seal on the windshield was being held in place by duct tape. During rental, the tape didn't hold and the rubber seal kept hitting the top of the cab. We had to stop to buy duct tape and apply to seal. UHaul should not rent out equipment that needs servicing....if we had been driving in rain, likely would have had a wet cab/dashboard, Otherwise, the truck performed great.alan H.
The only issue I had was that the folks at this location couldn't find a location that was open on the day I wanted to turn in in the trailer that I rented. They told me they were all closed. I knew that wasn't true and had to call the 1-800 number and they gave a UHaul location that was open. Other than that, no problems.David M.

Dropping off the car hauler no one came out to help They never came out of the office When I dropped off the truck I was left out in the drop off lane for over 5 minutes and no one came out till someone else came out with another customer that came in the office. That employee had to call for someone to check in the vehicle. All in all not the type of experience that I find acceptable. Very disappointing.Michael A.

Yesterday the girl processing my order and another employee seemed more concerned about joking with each other and talking about personal issues than finishing my order. Then today when I returned the unit, i sat in the return area for almost 10 minutes before having to go inside to find someone. Then when I did the same girl from the previous day decided to stop and help someone else when going to find the return employee and delayed me again. And the return employee couldnt make up his mind where he wanted the unit. All in all, customer service was sub par and the employees need to be trained properly. This is the 1st time using this location and needless to say, will more than likely be the last. They should take lessons from the employees at the Saint Peter's, Mo. location, located on the north service rd and Truman Blvd.Paul P.

We had three storage units at the O’Fallon location for three years, while we were overseas. We never had a problem with the facility. Even after three years all of our goods were clean and dust free, and in good working condition. We have several paintings that still look like new, have no cracked paint, warping, yellowing of paper, or mold growth. Upon inspection of boxes, there are no signs of insects, or mildew. Thanks so much! In the midst of a lot of stress and unpredictable challenges, your helpful and flexible staff was a godsend. I don’t live in the area anymore and I’m disabled (not dying anytime soon, but I can’t travel long distances by myself and my endurance is limited). On extremely short notice I had to find a way to retrieve things from my deceased parents’ home and a place to store them, or forfeit them for good. I’m blessed that friends in the area could help, and that they went to your facility for the space. In the 2.5 years since the rental was established, I and a rotating cast of friends have been in and out. I also had to switch out the billing to go from my friend’s card, to mine. When that card expired and I missed a payment, your staff was patient. When the flooding occurred, I was notified promptly. On that note, while nothing of mine was damaged, I WOULD have been upset if it had. Of course you anticipated customers that were affected would be justifiably upset, but your response was unlike almost any other business I have to deal with—you owned it. As far as I could tell, there was no delay notifying customers while you consulted with attorneys to craft a script of word salad full of excuses and devoid of responsibility. Staff simply emailed and called, knowing they were going to get an earful from some people. That kind of moral fortitude is rare these days, and it absolutely makes a difference, especially in the lives of people like me. With far fewer functional hours a day to take care of responsibilities, health, and needs, it an be difficult to carve out any time to relax and enjoy life, even when everything goes as planned. When unexpected events come, a friendly voice, kindness, honesty, and helpful attitude makes a HUGE difference. I’m highly confident that you've taken steps to avoid future floods, and would recommend your facility to friends.
