I placed order online and choose mobile pickup. When I went to pickup -- took me more than 1 hour to get the truck: first I can't find the truck, 2. It is charging when I found it; 3. They can't find the key for me; 4, when found the key, I can't start the truck, it was out of battery; 5 changed another truck, I took for a long time to find where it is. 6 I don't want the dolly, returned it, they told me it is free for me to use, then I took it. Now they charged me. The staff need more training, and need kindness to their clients!

Back of truck was open, dirty and wet. Cab of truck had very strong smell. The truck also had furniture pads and hand cart in it taking up space. Location did not have all reserved equipment.

Your online return system did not work when I returned the truck so I could not take the photos necessary to return it. I was not told I would have to take a bunch of pics when I returned the truck so I went to fill it out about 15 mins later after I could get on the site. I had to guess the kms I used so I have no idea if I over paid or not. I asked for someone to contact me the next day and no one did. The truck was great, return policy is a pain in the ass

Tina the general manager was very rude and unhelpful. I had rented 30 foot Rv spot for my trailer with the idea of fitting a second trailer there at some point 17 months later i realized upon buying a second trailer that my actual spot was 17 feet when i brought this to the managers attention she did not seem to take action after two weeks i spoke with her again only to be told that she can evict me at anytime and that if i am unsatisfied i should take my business elsewhere which i did the new manager was very helpful and i was refunded the difference that i over paid for the last 17 months i should also point out the front desk staff are kind and helpful the only bad apple there was tina but thankful now she is gone no future clients have to deal with her bad attitude.

I am surprised that if I do not have a UHaul app working on a cell phone I am unable to rent. Apparently there seems to be no other way to rent. There is also a rather rude and obnoxious lady in authority at the Langley Branch, BC, who needs to find some manners and learn to be courteous.

Truck was not road ready for the highway. It wasn't until we were fully loaded and on the highway that we were able to notice that the wheel balancing was severely out on the front end. The vehicle would harshly shake over 55 mph. Did not feel safe. Would never rent a truck from u haul again.

I rented a truck for three days for a move out of the city (247 km) and paid through the nose for the Km's. I realize your big money maker is local moves but it seems that your business model has forgotten the longer haul moves.

Trucks should be checked by employees prior to scheduling unit for customers. This particular unit had two clearance lamps inoperative and the CVI expired while the vehicle was in my possession (3days). Employees were polite but did little else than sit at their computers. I had also booked the truck expecting to exceed 200km over my 3days of usage, which i was told was included. Upon return of the unit i was informed there was overage charges because the booking only allotted 150km.

I reserved a furniture dolly and arrived to find that there wasn't one available. I was told they were only available on a "first come first served" basis. Why do you have an option to reserve an item that is not reservable? This added a lot of extra time to our move and was very inconvenient.

The booking was completely different pick up location and size of trailer, ended up making five trips instead of two wasting so much more gas, i thought having a reservation meant more reliable service from uhaul, i was disappointed and left with no choice but to proceed with a far away pock up location and a small trailer

U-Haul app has many flaws. Both times I have used it there have been issues at pick up so have had to go into the office anyway. Employees both at pick up and drop off were more concerned with talking to each other than the customer.

Service was great, only thing i would change is to update the pictures on the app for the vehicles. Seemed to be drastically different ie: there was more wear/tear and damage to the truck in person, where the pictures on the app seemed like the truck was in great condition so i had to dispute pictures with reasons before leaving. Just so its not a big surprise or a misunderstanding if something did occur during a rental.

When I came to the location staff explained the cost and conditions noted in the quote. During the discussion, they mentioned that there would be a cost savings if I could bring the trailer back to this location, versus dropping it in Malakwa. I decided to accept the cost savings by bringing the trailer back to Langley location. Their explanation was very helpful and most appreciated.

The vehicles I have rented from this location are alway dirty to filthy. The pick up truck I rented in April was covered in mud on the inside and I had to use wipes to clean it before I could take it off the lot. Especially now during COVID-19 I would EXPECT that you would be more safe and clean the vehicles. The cargo van I just rented will covered in saw dust on the upholstery and did not look sanitized at all. If I get covid its due to the condition of your rental vehicles.

I ordered a locker and upon inspection found a dead mouse and numerous droppings within the unit. I asked to have it cleaned and would return in a couple of days to move in. When I returned I was unable to access the main gate and had to return the next day to talk with office staff. I then learned that the locker i had paid for got rented to someone else.

Early yesterday morning before I was fully awake someone phoned, identified themself as staff and explained to me that the storage unit was no longer going to be available o n may 1st when it had been booked for. That there were 2 units available right now and I could only have it if I took it RIGHT NOW. I explained that I needed it for 1 month from May 1st as we had rented a 15ft truck with 2 bedrooms of furniture and were moving from the States to Canada.. We needed it for 1 mth while we were quarantined for 2 weeks on arrival, as per the new Covid Health laws. The staff insisted we had to book the truck from yesterday and if we we late moving our furniture out after May 13th that they would give us a couple of days grace. This is a HORRIBLE situation and we don't know what to do about it. We need storage from May 1st to May31st!!!

I moved in no problem in an hr. Came back a few days later and I didn’t realize what time it was and phone was in car outside and my girlfriend and I were just organizing our storage locker and we lost track of time. It was around 11pm(10pm is closing time)when we finished and I didn’t think anything of it. So we locked it up and closed the door. Got in my car to drive out and tried my code numerous times and it wouldn’t work then we called uhaul phone number provided on google maps and it took an hr to get the gate opened. Finally the staff got it opened and we went home to bed. Next time we went was a few days later and my code didn’t work and it was locked I got punished with a only during store hrs access. That sucked for us cause we both work long hrs and have kids. I tried to talk to manager and she was rude, short and unprofessional with very poor customer service and she wouldn’t bug on the rules. A few more days go by and there was another lock on my locker provided by the manager for apparently smoking and leaving garbage. I called she was rude, short and unprofessional. But also kicked me out with 48hrs notice. Before the end of the month. So now we have to find another place to store stuff for 7 days till we move not very helpful to our already busy schedule. It has really put us in a bind financially and a waste of our time. 1 mistake and 1 cigarette but in the hallway near the door to exit the building and we get evicted. In my opinion this was all due to horrible customer service and a grumpy manager.
