The lock was tough to open I used a screwdriver to move the last letter and they said I had asked to do self check in after I waited for 20 minutes, pads where not in the truck either so if I picked up after or before hours I would have none. Other wise the truck was great to drive.Kevin B.

I would credit customers for purchasing extra boxes even if they returned them after hours. I purchased extra boxes because I was told they could be returned if notnused, but returning the truck before office hours, seems to mean that I forfeit the boxes which I wasn't told about and had I known, I wouldn't have bought them. The extra boxes were left in the truck and I learned there would be no compensation which is unfortunate for the customer.margaret W.

Ordering through Arizona was sort of OK sounded like a 20 footer was good because I didn't have any appliances I should've taken the 26 footer. Price was good we had to go back and rent a trailer and fit it in the 20 footer had a 26 footer would've only cost $10 a day. Found a rental U-Haul place on Fraser Highway guy couldn't speak English so I couldn't rent off him that's why we phoned Arizona finally got a truck. I forgot to gas up price of gas was too expensive so we had to go and find a gas station put some gas in that was our fault. The place was busy so that's good. Stanstan S.

The truck I rented wasn't cleaned properly. I cleaned the truck before returning it and on return I mentioned the cleanliness when I picked up compared to when I returned the truck. They agreed and rounded my bill down to accommodate me. That is the kind of servitude professionalism I experience consistently at this UHAUL outlet.Brian D.

I emptied my my storage unit C224 on December 27 and advised the office in person, before departing, that it was empty and no longer required. The front desk person acknowledged my comments and said they would send a employee to check it. Subsequently I wrote an email advising the manager, Tina Pender that the storage was no longer required. Yesterday I got a call from U-Haul advising that my rent was 3 days late. My only suggestion would be to implement a company rate to promote repeat or long term usage of the storage facilities. As a Senior Move Management company, I rent lockers on a regular basis for my clients. When I was at the front counter inquiring about my unit, the staff member was not very helpful. I asked where was the unit located and got the answer "I think building 1". When I finally found the unit there was a lock already on the door. I went back to the office and asked about it to the same employee he just looked at me. I said it looks like one of u-hauls locks maybe. He then said well yes I put it there. I had to then ask how do we get it removed, he said well I guess I could go out there in a bit. Tina the general manager was very rude and unhelpful. I had rented 30 foot Rv spot for my trailer with the idea of fitting a second trailer there at some point 17 months later i realized upon buying a second trailer that my actual spot was 17 feet when i brought this to the managers attention she did not seem to take action after two weeks i spoke with her again only to be told that she can evict me at anytime and that if i am unsatisfied i should take my business elsewhere which i did the new manager was very helpful and i was refunded the difference that i over paid for the last 17 months i should also point out the front desk staff are kind and helpful the only bad apple there was tina but thankful now she is gone no future clients have to deal with her bad attitude.Peter S. | Overall Experience

Early yesterday morning before I was fully awake someone phoned, identified themself as staff and explained to me that the storage unit was no longer going to be available o n may 1st when it had been booked for. That there were 2 units available right now and I could only have it if I took it RIGHT NOW. I explained that I needed it for 1 month from May 1st as we had rented a 15ft truck with 2 bedrooms of furniture and were moving from the States to Canada.. We needed it for 1 mth while we were quarantined for 2 weeks on arrival, as per the new Covid Health laws. The staff insisted we had to book the truck from yesterday and if we we late moving our furniture out after May 13th that they would give us a couple of days grace. I moved in no problem in an hr. Came back a few days later and I didn’t realize what time it was and phone was in car outside and my girlfriend and I were just organizing our storage locker and we lost track of time. It was around 11pm(10pm is closing time)when we finished and I didn’t think anything of it. So we locked it up and closed the door. Got in my car to drive out and tried my code numerous times and it wouldn’t work then we called uhaul phone number provided on google maps and it took an hr to get the gate opened. Finally the staff got it opened and we went home to bed. Next time we went was a few days later and my code didn’t work and it was locked I got punished with a only during store hrs access. That sucked for us cause we both work long hrs and have kids. I tried to talk to manager and she was rude, short and unprofessional with very poor customer service and she wouldn’t bug on the rules. A few more days go by and there was another lock on my locker provided by the manager for apparently smoking and leaving garbage. I called she was rude, short and unprofessional. But also kicked me out with 48hrs notice. Before the end of the month. So now we have to find another place to store stuff for 7 days till we move not very helpful to our already busy schedule. It has really put us in a bind financially and a waste of our time. 1 mistake and 1 cigarette but in the hallway near the door to exit the building and we get evicted.
