The previous people that used the truck we had smoked a lot of cigarettes in the cab and it was awful smelling. Additionally, the previous people also spilled gas in the cargo hold and that also smelled awful. We had to cover the area with garbage bags prior to putting anything in it and spray Lysol so we could actually breathe.Paul T.

I tried to reach the site by phone and was routed through a voice mail system that eventually told me to use the website. I had used the website, but needed a question answered that was not available there. No help at all with this approach.Richard G.

The process to complete the return of the vehicle was not completed in the computer system. I had to call 3 times to get that done and get a receipt emailed to me. Thankfully I checked for the receipt 20 minutes prior to the end of the rental time! 1.5 hours prior to the beginning of the rental time, I received a text with a different pickup location than the original. I checked the reservation number online and that listed BOTH locations so I had to call to see which one was correct. The text should have listed that the location had changed. The location change made me drive more miles on a weekend at a higher rate!ERICA S.

Customer service was great! Our only complaint was that we had to travel all over Waukesha to find the required E85 gasoline for our van. When we questioned your staff they didn't even know what we were talking about. This was easily the worst experience with uhaul I've ever had. I do not plan on using your service again after the store I had booked my reservation with simply failed to open for the day. The only option was for me to drive 45 minutes further in each direction to pick up a different truck. I had to take extra hours off of work that day and had to pay the movers I hired for an extra 3 hours due to this. All they offered as compensation was $50 compared to the hundreds of dollars it cost and 3 hours of extra time it took just to pick up the trailer.Austin L.

This final location was good. HOWEVER THIS WAS THE 3RD LOCATION. We were moved from Waterford to Burlington because you could not guarantee a truck in Waterford. Then when I arrived in Burlington, the truck was not there. Whomever rented the truck the day before called in to say he could not return it. AND I WAS NOT CALLED OR TEXTED ABOUT THIS. Luckily we found a truck in Waukesha or it woukld have been a disaster as we moved my mom to a senior living facility, We had driven through Waukesha on our way to Burlington only to turn around and come back. I received a $50 credit, but it still does not make me feel good about renting fron U-Haul unless the rental truck is coming from a "Real" U-Haul location.Brian B.
So when we dropped off the trailer the guy that was there accused my husband of smoking in the trailer. R u kidding me. I would never and either would be. So you need to talk to ur workers and tell them not to accuse ppl unless he knows for sure. He was pretty rude as well. So I'm not sure if I will come back to this location.Michelle M.

They were great!! I'd recommend this place to who I know I will never recommend the 108th street location in west allis ever!! I have been so mistreated and disrespected from the assistant manager aiden Cruz. I left upset and emotional upset. My son-in-law had to tell him to stop!! I won't recommend this location because I will no longer recommend U-Haul. Using this phone app to get the van, rather than just going in and talking directly with a human was horrible. Having to wander around to find the right vehicle, and upload all the info, when I already did when I made my reservation, was just ridiculous. And I still had to go inside to show my phone screen to a person. So why not just let me talk to a person? I did not opt for the app choice.Kathleen G.

The location and the people that work there are excellent! It's your reservation system that sucks. You don't notify the customer of a pickup location change!! The truck box leaked water inside when it rained and leaked all over my boxes. Called in and got roadside assistance to come and repair which took over 3 hours to arrive, costing me a half of a days time in my move because I had to stop loading the truck. Also, the steering wheel on the truck is disgusting, I had to wear gloves to drive it.JODY S.

Actually made reservation at another location and spoke by phone with three individuals at that location to ensure all was in order but when I arrived to pick up vehicle was informed it was not there, but at another location. At that location, during pick up, I informed the rep what I had informed the three previous reps, that I would return the vehicle after hours on the third day, yet on the morning of the third day I received a phone call from an individual at the check in location asking where the truck was. This U-Haul facility was top notch service, fantastic employees, convenient in location and accommodating to our needs since day one. They have been with us for two cross-country moves with trailering vehicles and we used storage facilities for all our belongings for over two years. I have to mention every time I went to our storage units, the cleaning crew was there to keep this facility spotless. Was a pleasure to be in while dealing with our various circumstances. The check in and pick up took for ever. Then l got my storage unit it was the wrong size. I had to come back later for the correct one. The only comment is that your staff person on had a lot of business toward the end of the day. He was apparently sick with a respiratory condition and very fatigued. My wife and I are one of many family’s displaced by the potential building collapse in Waukesha, WI. Uhaul is providing a free months rent on a storage locker to any family being displaced. We found out we will more than likely be able to get our furnishings out, and I went to Uhaul to rent a locker from the Waukesha (Hwy 164) dealer and Tina could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. Her help was very much appreciated. We do not know when we will be able to retrieve our furniture and things, but I will definitely be trying to rent a truck from Uhaul as well.
