The 26' truck had over 150,000 miles on it and made considerable strange sounds and vibrated terribly. Glad I had my adult sons to drive it because it terrified me just following it! Maybe time to retire it? At least tell the customer what to expect. Everything else in the process, reserving it, picking it up, staff, was great. Overall a very good experience so would recommend.

Place was closed when we dropped off the truck. Easy to navigate the lot and drop off the keys in the door. Will use this location if moving in the future.

The online checkin process was a joke. I am renting a vehicle - why do you need two additional contacts to allow me to do that? In addition, i needed to go into the shop to check out. The computer systems there were extremely slow and the two representatives working were extremely unprofessional showing frustration - slamming fists on the desk and cussing. They also did not were masks to protect themselves or others from covid, they also did not require others entering to do the same. Finally when i entered the vehicle, it reeked of cigarette smoke, there was no ramp attached for loading and unloading, and no cruise control to regulate speed. Next time i will rent from enterprise - less hassle, more professional, and better vehicles.

The equipment was fine but the front desk worker was extremely rude. I made the reservation with Trent (a Friend if my bosses) and I told him I'd be getting the vehicle sometime after nine, around 10 am. He said I'll put you down for 9 and if you get it at 10 that'll be fine. I get there at ten like I initially planned and the front desk worker was super rude about me being an hour late and had an attitude the whole time. I would have cancelled my uhaul with you guys but it was last minute and I didn't have time to find a different place to get one.

My reservation was for a 10 foot truck. They gave me (and made me pay) for a 15 foot truck. My reservation also said I had 200 miles. They asked where I was going and they gave me the exact miles to that location. I had to go to the place I loaded from first which was 30 miles further. Why I didn't get 200 miles is a mystery. Uhaul then charged my card the over miles fee. Not Happy at all.

The van box smelled like cat urine and I had to clean that out and disinfected and then when I dropped the unit off at the Bismarck U-Haul at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday night the 19th and handed the keys to the attendant his name was Justin I got a bill from Bismarck U-Haul or U-Haul Incorporated that said I owed for an extra day and it wasn't due until 7:00 a.m. the following morning so I hope that will get straightened out

make better signage from the back yard of trailer/truck land to where the front door is (opposite sides of the building), or some sort of buzzer/bell to tell the front a very lost customer is in the back. Half of the staff was very friendly and place was clean. Hard to see the counter through all the displays and if someone was at the counter.

I was pretty frustrated with the overall rental process. I tried to use the Uhaul Neighborhood dealer that's is .5 miles from my house. I was told to call the Elida road Uhaul to ask them to send the request to the Uhaul by me. They told me I had to call the other store by me. I went back and forth between the two stores and ended up not being allowed to pick up a truck at the rental place .5 miles from where I live, but instead had to pick it up at the Elida road one. This added miles to my bill, but more importantly it was just inconvenient. We could have walked to the Uhaul store that's right in front of our neighborhood. I simply don't understand why it was so hard to get a two way truck at the place closest to us.

There is hardly any parking and it is hard to get in and out of the location. We were charged for an entire day that we did not have the uhaul and had to wait days for a refund. When we tried to call to get ahold of anyone at this location, no one ever answered.

It took way too long to get my truck and be on my way! I rented one the week before and it was ready to roll when I got there. The truck dash was dirty from the last renter and stunk like an ashtray. Night and day from the previous weeks truck.

You literally gave me a truck without enough gas to even get to the location that it was reserved for. The cup holder was completely broken and the engine was leaking some type of oil onto the exhaust. Not only that, but no drop-off location was given to me at any time so I had to just find a place that wasn't even open and leave it there. You guys are busy, I understand, but come on, that really made my life very difficult and I will never use your services again.

My drop-off location in Lima, Ohio was wonderful. The gentlemen that work there were all very helpful and super friendly, I was exhausted from my 14 hour drive and they offered to assist me with the trailer back-up, they could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was a terrific experience and I thank U-haul for making this long trip a little easier.

This truck was absolutely disgusting. There were dried blood and boogers on the passenger seat & an actual TOOTH in the cup holder. With being in the middle of a pandemic you'd think that your company would be a little more concerned about the hygiene of your vehicles. Absolutely unbelievable and I will never be using uhaul again.

The trailer blew a wheel in the middle of nowhere. I waited on the phone with the "Emergency Assistance" number for almost 40 minutes before I gave up. I found a small local dealer and abandoned the disable trailer with them, and then drove the car that was being towed the remainder of the trip. Uhaul and I have a very different definition of "emergency assistance".

I got the van. I looked at the odometer and the last 3 numbers of mileage was 219. Took it back to turn in and was charged 9 extra miles. They wrote the odometer had 210. My faught he said , I should have taken a picture.

Justin Van Horn was awesome! He got me out of the bind that I was in when my friends car broke down out of town. A+ rating! He went above and beyond to ensure that I would make it back home. Was given a trailer with a different number than on the contract. Was told by the employee outside that it was no problem and he would tell them inside. It turned out to be a problem when I returned the trailer 5 days and and 5 states later.
