Absolutely flawless return in Lima, Ohio! I didn't even have to go inside the building. Drive up returns was a brilliant idea. Uniformed employee met me at the pull in return area. Polite, efficient and prepared and the building was an actual business not someones janky, dog smelling, converted front room of a house like my pick up location in Huron, Ohio

Only thing that was a little weird is the area to return equipment kinda tight already and between stuff leaving and coming back it becomes a hassle especially if you have a trailer and have to back up. Other than that everything was outstanding. Bathrooms were very clean, employees were very nice.

I would recommend this location with reservations. The person that help me when I picked up the truck was pleasant and efficient. However, I called to report a problem with the truck after I returned home and the manager I spoke with was not helpful, understanding or courteous. The problem was with the rear door and required Roadside Assistance even before I started my trip from Ada,Ohio to Salt Lake City, Utah. The spring on the rear door was apparently broken and after lifting and closing the door a few times the cable wires wrapped around the pulley in such a way that we were not able to close the door. Roadside Assistance was helpful but after 1 1/2 hours was not able to untangle the cable. Eventually the technician cut the cable which allowed me to shut the door but with out the pulley system operating it was very difficult. The door is very heavy and someone had to close and lift it for me. Because it dropped down quickly and hard with out the pulley system, someone had to physically stand in the truck to be sure the door did not come crashing down when the truck was being unloaded. The technician gave me the cut cable wire and told me to turn it in at the drop off location in Salt Lake. Both the technician and the manager of U haul of Mid City in Salt Lake advised me to call and speak to the manager at my pick up location and ask for a discount . When I called, the manager at the pick up location said he would have to speak with his regional manager. He called back and said that the regional manager was unwilling to give me any sort of a discount even after acknowledging that the door was unsafe and I that they had not caught the problem before the truck was rented. What I found most offensive was that neither the regional manager or the manager at the pick up location offered an apology. I was made to feel that it was some how my fault.

The store was having trouble with their internet at the time we were there and thus processing of customers was very slow. The staff was friendly and apologetic for the wait. I would suggest that you consider better internet connectivity at that store to improve the customer experience and to decrease frustration for your employees and set them up for success.

I reserved online. This is very misleading in cost. I budgeted for the amount that I was given online then get to the location and the cost is more. The person that helped me offered no discount for the online reservation. I estimated 25-27 miles for my move and went 29..was charged for the 4 miles over..he chose the 25 miles. I received my "contract" at 750a and I asked about the 10 minute lead way to have the truck back (I reserved 4hrs) his remark was No, your contract begins now at 750a. Reserving online is VERY MISLEADING..nothing regarding mileage and the person helping me didn't want to do anything regarding the online reservation. I feel that when you reserve online, there needs to be more information regarding cost, I budgeted for the online amount along with the cost of fuel that was used not the in store amount. Very unhappy with this experience.

The front parking lot is really cramped in there. Would be nice to expand that out if possible. Otherwise, the customer service was quick, easy, and friendly. Thank you for a positive U-Haul experience.

Love this location. The young man who works there...I can't remember his first name...I think his last name is Heh...is excellent. He is professional and provides fast, thorough, friendly service. It is so nice to see this in the young adult workforce. He is a keeper and and asset to your company.

Your computer system was acting up when it was time for me to pick up the truck, and again the next day, when it was time for me to pick up the auto hauler. Each day the transaction added about 30 minutes additional wait time. The person who took my initial reservation thru the 800 number put my first name in incorrectly as don, instead of John. They tried to correct in the system with only limited success. I was in a time constraint, the branch manager was doing best, but the process made me late.

The equipment I requested online (2 utlility dollys, 1 furniture dolly) was not available the morning of pick up. A prior notification would have allowed me to adjust accordingly. No concessions were made in regards to the lack of equipment either. In the midst of a busy day I had to make other arrangements. A billing error was corrected quickly and much appreciated.

I would recommend the location to a friend, but not the UHaul website or experience. I reserved my rental and pickup location online. When a representative called, they said the location was not available. This error in your system made me drive twice the distance, take twice the time, and cost me twice the money. This needs fixed. The last time I reserved, I was called the night before pickup saying the vehicle I reserved (1 month in advance) was not available. When I disagreed and said I'm not paying for what I didn't order, you accommodated by finding the truck at another location. I had to drive 45 minutes to pick the vehicle up and again I was charged more in fuel and mileage.

Employees should make sure they are up to date on policies and price changes- i had to bring to their attention the mileage charge. I was quoted $3.50; however, the agreement stated $4.00. Employees did not appear aware of the change. Overall, service was good and met my expectations.

I want you to know that one of your employees, Tim, was very helpful and so friendly. Anytime I need to rent a Uhaul, I'm coming there because I know I can count on him. However, I called to let them know I was running late. I spoke with Teresa, I think was her name, and she was quite the opposite. If I didn't know any better, I'd thought I was talking to a robot/machine. I tried to converse and be friendly to her but it was not returned. Just saying. But my overall experience was great, thanks to Tim. Rock on!

Price was great. Service was great. Ingress and egress of the parking lot has little to be desired. All in all best bang for the buck with a reputable company.
