Fantastic customer service. Very professional and courteous. Put trailer on hitch for me. I have back issues, and since the trailer was not equipped with a tongue jack, there was no way for me to do it. U-Haul should equip their trailers with a tongue jack. Not everyone is physically able to lift the trailers. The 6x12 trailers are heavy.

Not much parking space on entry lot, but staff helpful maintaining "traffic flow". Minor misunderstanding regarding return time - contract did state specific time but person processing us during pick-up said something a bit different. We paid attention to what he said since contract time and what he said were within 1 hour of site closing. We did arrive at the time the person told us, but new person in charge that night said we were 45 minutes late. After explaining our side of the story, we were not charged additional fee. We had more gas than required in tank for next person, so guess it worked out. PS - our van was supposed to go out to another customer upon our immediate return. We had driven over 500 miles in 30 ish hours and were surprised to learn that our truck was going right back out. Yes, we left it clean for next person but I would think that UHaul would want to do a maintenance check first before renting it out. Overall, a good experience for us. Thanks to Lima UHaul for listening to our explanations.

Have staff explain fees charged in more detail, upon initial rental. Example...your initial agreement is one day, 24 hour & it is necessary to have rental, with equipment, insurance again. another day, you are billed for van, equip. & insurance

Allow the renter to choose whether they want the dolly and the furniture pads that are stored in the truck. They were in the way of my items I was trying to move. Therefore I lost some of the space that I was paying rent on.

Once I arrived to unload . There was confusion about storage lockers. First of all there wasn't one big enough for my stuff. If I'd known that I could of unloaded else where. I was given two units but go to unload and there's a lock on unit I was assigned. Then I had to wait until he called manager. Units were to small and I had to end up throwing some of my furniture away. Units were in two different locations so that made it harder to unload. It was one of the worst experiences ever. I will never use uhaul again. When I pick my stuff up from storage. I will not rent your trucks to move it into house. Moving is hard enough without all the extra stress from the moving rental . Yea definitely will never ever use uhaul again and anyone in my life that plans on moving. I'm definitely going to let them know the added stress and work uhaul caused me.

Absolutely flawless return in Lima, Ohio! I didn't even have to go inside the building. Drive up returns was a brilliant idea. Uniformed employee met me at the pull in return area. Polite, efficient and prepared and the building was an actual business not someones janky, dog smelling, converted front room of a house like my pick up location in Huron, Ohio

Only thing that was a little weird is the area to return equipment kinda tight already and between stuff leaving and coming back it becomes a hassle especially if you have a trailer and have to back up. Other than that everything was outstanding. Bathrooms were very clean, employees were very nice.

I would recommend this location with reservations. The person that help me when I picked up the truck was pleasant and efficient. However, I called to report a problem with the truck after I returned home and the manager I spoke with was not helpful, understanding or courteous. The problem was with the rear door and required Roadside Assistance even before I started my trip from Ada,Ohio to Salt Lake City, Utah. The spring on the rear door was apparently broken and after lifting and closing the door a few times the cable wires wrapped around the pulley in such a way that we were not able to close the door. Roadside Assistance was helpful but after 1 1/2 hours was not able to untangle the cable. Eventually the technician cut the cable which allowed me to shut the door but with out the pulley system operating it was very difficult. The door is very heavy and someone had to close and lift it for me. Because it dropped down quickly and hard with out the pulley system, someone had to physically stand in the truck to be sure the door did not come crashing down when the truck was being unloaded. The technician gave me the cut cable wire and told me to turn it in at the drop off location in Salt Lake. Both the technician and the manager of U haul of Mid City in Salt Lake advised me to call and speak to the manager at my pick up location and ask for a discount . When I called, the manager at the pick up location said he would have to speak with his regional manager. He called back and said that the regional manager was unwilling to give me any sort of a discount even after acknowledging that the door was unsafe and I that they had not caught the problem before the truck was rented. What I found most offensive was that neither the regional manager or the manager at the pick up location offered an apology. I was made to feel that it was some how my fault.

The store was having trouble with their internet at the time we were there and thus processing of customers was very slow. The staff was friendly and apologetic for the wait. I would suggest that you consider better internet connectivity at that store to improve the customer experience and to decrease frustration for your employees and set them up for success.
