I was told I needed to contact a manager/representative through the phone "system" and each time (7 or 8) was transferred to someone who "passed the buck" onto the next. The last person contacted, I asked if they were a manager and again was told they could transfer me. Not sure if they even have "managers." I said, "good-by." Not very helpful when there's an issue with rental.

The trailer had screws in the bed which could have cause a hole in my tires. The trailer running lights only worked sometimes.

disappointed that I had to drive to Lima instead of the original pick up location in St. Marys Ohio had to drive an extra 35 miles to get truck.

Probably nothing you can do locally. You were excellent. But maybe recommend to the Company exes to allow for a rental of a trailer hitch and light converter for people that do not require that for the future. (I didn't know I was going to need a trailer so did not bring my trailer hitch and don't need to buy another one. would have been nice to rent one for 5-7 bucks and turn it back in at the other place). Same for the converter for the lights. Just a suggestion, not a negative comment on the location. It was excellent.

I contacted the U Haul phone number and talked to a phone representative, she took my information to have Patrick from the Lima Oh. store call me. That never happened! I was told after talking to Patrick I could keep a trailer till the next day, because of extenuating circumstances. He was not there the next morning and I got charged another day. It's gonna hurt You more then Me in the long run.

i was very disappointed because i had reserved the tow dolly in plenty of time to pick it up in my location of ada ohio. but when it came to the time to pick it up , i had to go all the way to lima ohio to get it when i had reserved it for ada. I dont understand why make a reservation if i'm not going to be able to pick it up where i request then to be told i HAVE to return it back at Lima and not at any other u-haul location . This was very disappointing.

The call center employees were rude and of very little help. I was very happy with the employees that I had the pleasure of doing business with at the elida rroad Lima Ohio location however. Trucks were pretty easy to deal with overall but I recommend dollies and ramps on the 10' trucks as well.

The staff was friendly and efficient. There was a long line and it moved very quickly. The only suggestion is get rid of the metal music....people who are moving are stressed. The last thing we need is screamo tunes.

This has been the worst experience with U haul I've had. First I had to go 30 miles out of my way to pick up the u haul which means I was charged for unnecessary mileage. Also, when I called to verify that everything was fine when it was returned they argued with me about the utility dolly out of the truck which was not there when I picked up the truck. Finally there a charge of $30.23 my credit card that should not be there and no one seems to be able to answer this.....

Was told that if I returned the trailer before the 7days allotted, that I would get refunded a prorated amount for each day it was early. I double checked two separate times. Turns out that’s not the case. I don’t appreciate being lied to, nor a company that doesn’t stand behind their word.

The pick up location was verified that day before via phone call from a local uhaul location. The day of pick up I was told the rental was not at the location and was 45 minutes away. 1 1/2 hours was wasted simply picking up the rental, plus I was forced to pay for mileage because of a mistake. Terrible experience. Would not recommend using the service.

The location has a drop off spot where you pull the truck into. No one came out to check it over or tell us where we needed to go. I ended up walking into a garage area. I proceeded to find the entrance where a gentleman was scraping up the floor and 2 people were sitting behind desks. Never asked can we help you. Walked up to the one desk and was told he would be with me in a second. after he finished what he was doing I asked him if I had brought the truck back a day earlier would I have money refunded. He said no. If someone brings that truck back a whole day earlier that you are able to rent it out again, how or why don't you refund what wasn't used? I will not be using uhaul next time I move!

Overall the experience was very good. Service at check-in was fast and staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had. The only recommendation I have is to be ready at the return. The signs were clear where to drop off but nobody was there to help guide me to the next step. I had to go inside to let the staff know I was there. Other than that the experience was great, and quick.

I'm not happy about being charged for a 24hr rental starting at 1:45pm when I didn't get to the store until 2pm and didn't leave the store until almost 3pm yet my rental was due to be returned by 1:45pm the next day. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal but if I have been charged for the the whole 24hrs I should not be shorted any of my time! It's the principal of the matter. We want what we pay for! I do think the usefulness of the uhaul website is moving in the right direction and was not over complicated like many tend to be ??. Good job on that.

My experience was outstanding; however, it started poorly. The representative from national customer service was pathetic. Poorly trained, poorly managed and poorly suited for this position. The two associates at the Lima, OH location, on the other hand, were outstanding. They were wonderful representatives of your organization..
