The return truck after hours app could be better it only got to ur location but would not share location and would not go any further

Trouble from the beginning to the end got it home unloaded and it wouldn’t start was treated rudely by the counter staff when I went back to U-Haul to tell them that it wouldn’t start finally after an hour and a half I was able to get it started got to our destination turned it off to unload it it wouldn’t start again once we got it half loaded we noticed that the whole top of the on top of the cab storage area was filled with water . Furniture Dolly I rented was not in the truck after unloading truck wouldn’t start again took a half hour this time to get it to go once I was back at U-Haul to turn it in I tried to login it said I wasn’t a registered user I tried to register it told me I was a registered user so I had to go back in the next morning to turn it in and get everything right there was no apology for the trouble I had . Very disappointed

Truck was shaky when driving (shakier than normal). Rented a truck with a corporate account and it would not link to the email listed in the reservation resulting in an incomplete rental despite being unable to complete the 24/7 check in.

I have rented vehicles from U-haul since the mid 80's (including from this location a few of those times), this was the 10th or 11th. In that time I have never had an issue until this trip. This time, I forgot to check the odometer before rolling out. When I returned, I found I was being charge for approximately 200 miles more than I drove. I mentioned it to the clerk and she put the contract on hold. After that, I was then invoiced for the whole thing without being contacted to discuss. This definitely will be taken into consideration the next time I need to rent a vehicle. There are other options.

There are plenty of trucks to rent but the cab of the truck was not clean when turned in to other location they complained it was not clean had crumbs from food but nothing was ever ate in the cab

Blatantly & proudly ripping people off since the day they were established I'm sure. They lied about the gas gauge (claimed more fuel than there actually was), lied about the mileage (less miles than dash so they can say you went further than you did), didn't inspect the vehicle after previous customer(s) (trash & dirt left behind), lied about the time I returned the vehicle (so they could charge me an after hours service fee of $20, even though I returned the vehicle same day several hours before closing & handed the key DIRECTLY to a uhaul rep.) Need I continue? Also I'd like to add this is not the first time they have tried to pull bs on me or many MANY others (everyone of their customers I'm sure). I'm not sure if EVERY uhaul is like this, but if I were you the reader I would at least definitely steer clear of this particular store. Hopefully this helps someone.

The employees didn't load a wardrobe box that I paid for in the store. I had to return to the location to pick it up. The rental had cosmetic damage from a previous renter. I wish the employees would have disclosed this. I didn't recognize the damage until I had arrived at the moving site. I wasn't certain if I would be liable for the damage because I didn't report it at the pick up site. I called the pickup site and was directed to a call center, it took 30 minutes to confirm that the damage was not my fault.

I went in store to try and rent a truck but they wanted nothing to do with me. They said no trucks would be available until Sunday. I went online to make a reservation and had no problem getting what I needed. I also read that the truck had low floors and loading was made easy with the loading ramps. I was a little disappointed when the truck didn't have a slide out ramp but I made it work.
