I booked our U-Haul for 8am pickup. Obviously before opening hours. When we arrived, the app told me we were not assigned to any equipment. I called the customer service number and they told me that my key must’ve not been put in the lock box. We waited an hour. At 9, they didnt open the door till 10 after 9am so we waited a while. It was inconvenient. Customer service was great though
Nick HEverything was good at this location, but i have a small complaint that is worth sharing. When i got the trailer home, i noticed alot of nails, screws, bolts, nuts, washers, screwdrivers, pieces of wood, and other small debris. Since i was hauling a golf cart I had to spend the time to clean all the items as i did not want to get a flat tire. I filled up a small walmart plastic bag. I was irritated by this and to be honest, i am surprised as there is a sign on the inside stating that there is a fee if it is not cleaned out. I will say that this minor issue will not stop me from renting from this location again, but thought i should share anyway. Thanks.

Yvette S | First ImpressionsStaff was incredibly helpful and nice, I’m highly dissatisfied with the trailer I rented, the ratchet straps were extremely rusted and it was very difficult to tighten and ever more difficult to loosen the straps.
Aj BI got the truck and the back end was all wet from the rain the night before. The back door was left open during the rain storm. I had to bring it back to U-hail to get dried out. I also had to stop along the way to tighten the right mirror, it was too loose.

Georgia SThis was not supposed to be our original location of pickup. I booked this rental many weeksin advance and found out the day before the location was moved 30 more minutes away. This was extremely inconvenient.
BRITTANY STruck smelled like marijuana had dirt all over cup holders, I also reserved the day before and they said they had no record of it so truck was not ready when i got there, Had to pull it out of the snow and it was stuck, Had to rock it back and forth to get it out after i cleaned off all the snow and ice from the windows

JOHN WThe employee that was supposed to do the trailer inspection must not have known much of anything about a trailer. He connected the ball, raised the jack all the way up and gave me the 4 pin wire for the lights. He didn't verify the lights worked, or hook up the safety chains. Also, before I left I always look over the trailer before leaving and the 2 safety chains were laying on the ground, I had to secure them. These things could have lead to some potentially hazardous situations.

TODD BI picked up an open trailer and there was about 6 inches of snow in the bed. My son and I had to clean it out with no offer to do from UHaul.
Richard HHad difficulty access my storage unit (2nd time in less than a month). THe coded i was given kept saying access denied, not every time, but the last 2 out of 4 times I was there it didn't work and wasn't able to get into my storage unit.

BRIAN GYour equipment is outdated and lacks proper maintenance....the straps on the car trailer came undone 3 times during my trip...my car could have fallen off the trailer at any point....I also dont like being charged for 5 days when I dont need it for 5 days ...thats a ripoff...needless to say I will not be renting from uhaul ever again

RYAN SAnswer the phone locally; was referred to a central corporate office each time I called over a two day period with questions about the local facility. Eventually just stopped by to ask the questions and was greeted and assisted efficiently. The app worked fine for drop off, not so much for pick up. Third failed attempt to get past the add on insurance option sent me inside where the staff was helpful and efficient and completed the rental.

TODD GThe trucks are supposed to be SMOKE FREE, but the one we received had a STRONG smoke odor and residual in it. As an asthmatic family, this made it VERY DIFFICULT to use the truck the way we intended, and we returned it early.

RAYMUNDO EThe costs! I realize that this is a difficult time in this year. You need to remember that as a senior citizen we don't get raises. Sometimes life sucks. I found the counter persons greeted me with a smile, polite, answered my questions and I arrived and returned said have a nice day and thank YOU for choosing U HAUL!
KAREN WThe employees were very confused how to add a dolly to my order. They had a very limited supply and didn't even have what I actually wanted. They also didn't mention an important text that I would receive and need to do before leaving. I don't look at my phone 24/7 so it was too late. Might be nice if the trucks reserved we're parked a little closer for days like that day it was raining. I was also rung up the more expensive tv screen box and had to tell them it's wrong. Just trying to screw me over every chance they could. Honestly probably done with uhaul after this experience. There's competition and I'll check them out before going back to uhaul.
KIEFER BI was not able to pick up my truck after 7pm on the night I scheduled- I found out the next morning that it was because they didn't have the furniture dollies I had requested- it would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

RAYMOND GDrop off was very smooth and streamlined. And again the staff was amazing, even though I didn't need it, they helped disconnect the trailer and was very engaging with the small talk which I really enjoyed. Plus the equipment I rented, which was an Auto Tranport Trailer worked perfectly and was well maintained. Big thank you to the staff at both pick up and drop off!
NICHOLAS UWe returned the truck within an hour, never used the pads or opened them. Thought we wouldn't be charged for those.

Reserved a trailer earlier in the morning at about 10:30 (listed opening time), went to pick it up, and they had a sign on the door. "Will be back at 2:00." My reservation time was for 11:00.

JANETT BWater on the floor multiple times reported to staff staff was rude and obnoxious not helpful. Was locked out of storage unit multiple times despite my bill being paid. I’m disabled use a wheelchair. Had to go up to office multiple times due to being locked out very inconvenient. Staff treated me like it was an inconvenience to offer assistance for anything not just one time but multiple times very rude.

SHATONNA w | First ImpressionsMy unit got broken into a couple days before I went to move it from the Elida rd location to the Allentown rd location and I just find it coincidentally the my unit was the only one broken into and ‘’ happened’’ just days before I am going to empty the unit out. I believe it was an inside job so one knows more then they r saying but it is ok they will have their karma one day!!
