You moved my reservation without telling me from the location I requested to this one in a totally different town. Didn’t get the moving blankets that I reserved and paid for. Trailer tires were all under inflated, one critically so.

LEONIDES DI booked a one way rental for 8:00 but it would not be available to after 10:00. I ended up getting a In Town vehicle which added to my cost and time. Customer service (otherwise) was excellent!
Derrick LCounter service was a bit slow as the only person was busy filling two butane tanks. Sure glad I wasn't in a big hurry !
RILEY DThe opening employee didn't have keys to the facility. We had to wait for a coworker to arrive for the facility to actually open. No apoligies were offered for the inconvience of waiting 35 min past opening to dtop off trailer. Then I get emailed receipt charging me for missing or damaged $32. I didn't receive any explanation of these charges. There was not damage and all the padding was returned.

PRITPAL ANot so good this time. I had a 2:00 pm pickup arranged on a Sunday, but the office was closed and locked when I got there at 1:50 -- "Back in 20 minutes" but no date/time on the sign. Attendant did show up about 2:20, and the truckwas fine, but I was on a tight schedule and was getting nervous.

James FI have used this location for maybe 15 years and it gets better. The staff is friendly, knows the inventory, the inventory is large, the lot is well located, the office area pretty full with boxes etc but neat and organized. I like using Gardella Plaza. .... Bill Leach, Livermore

JILL LEach of three different employees I met during my selection and pick-up process couldn't have cared less to help me.
James LI lost my wallet in the van and was told that the van was cleaned and nothing was found. When the new renter returned with the same van later that day, my wallet WAS found in the cab of the vehicle. They obviously do NOT check. I ended up canceling my cards and ordering a new driver's license for no reason, which was an inconvenience since I was offered a new job and needed that information to start my onboarding process. It caused a lot of unneeded stress

BERNARD YI had a reservation at 9am I got to store and it wasn’t opened at 9. Several people started to show up and had to wait outside. Employee showed up late. When we finally got in there was one employee and several people in line. Around 9:20 another employee finally showed up apparently also late. By the time I was helped my truck hadn’t been “checked in” or cleaned so I had to wait further. My 9am reservation turned into almost 10am after cleaning and taking photos of vehicle.
Eva GBeen 5 years since I used this Uhual. Glad to see it still had great customer service and the chevy truck was the perfect size for the 12 sheets of drywall I needed to get from Lowe's.

ANTONIO RI picked up my van on November 2nd at 9:30 AM. The young man (wish I knew his name) that attended us was tremendously courteous and helpful. When I returned my van he was outside washing trucks and attending customers running up and down taking care of everything and everyone efficiently and courteously. I was so impressed by his work ethic that try to leave him a tip - he will not take the tip, simply saying he was just doing his job. You should be proud of this young man, this country need more like him.
WILFREDO OFriendly, professional and efficient staff got me in and out quick with the trailer hookup. This trailer even had the fold-down ramp which was a life saver for one very heavy piece of furniture. Trailer rental is definitely more cost-effective for my situation (versus truck), even considering initial cost to install a tow-hitch. Note: For me the Livermore location was a little out of the way and would have preferred Dublin or Pleasanton but the equipment was only available in Livermore.
James AI came in today and and the truck wasn’t ready. The GM of the site came in and said the truck is on empty and and I need to put gas in it. So I went and paid $176 to fill the truck up with gas. He said he’d give me $40 off? I paid $359 for the truck for the day then another $176? Then he said “make sure it’s back by 5:30 cause it’s being rented out again.” The overall experience was poor.

Then, when I arrived to the storage unit, a representative there informed me that there was no elevator and my unit was on the second floor. I am shocked that the answer to this issue was to either climb the stairs or cancel the reservation. This location should look into investing into an elevator since the representative mentioned that this is a reoccurring issue. I was not satisfied with this experience at all and how this was handled.

Joel C | Overall ExperienceOverall, Felipe Garcia and the U-Haul team do a great job, I was a Tennent in my storage unit for nearly 7 years, this team provided me great support, answering all my questions and walking me thru the rental process in the most upmost professional and helpful manner always were helpful and to my knowledge in 7 years only raised my monthly rent one time, which was a modest $4.00 increase per month! In my opinion Felipe and this team are hard working to provide the best customer service possible. I recommend this business to anyone requiring rental space and moving equipment in the Tri-Valley. My husbands and sons had to wait about 30 minutes for the whole process before they could start moving our furniture into the unit. As we’re moving, the clerk reminds me that we will not have access after the office closes, although the confirmation I received and your website list access as available until 10pm. Then, when we were done, we could not get the lock on the door. After struggling with it, we finally had to ask the clerk for help, who had to use a screw driver to attach the lock.
