I only used the truck for 3 hours but it did take approximately 15 mins to receive truck. But my time was shortened by that amount on receipt. I'm picking on a small thing but if I needed it for the whole 24 hours. I would've been upset if I was charged for being late. Just my opinionSCOTT B.
The staff and everyone was very helpful and knowledgable. My only concern is just the actual time to book. I booked by phone as I had a question. I was on hold for quite a bit. Once I went to pick up the trailer, the staff were very helpful but the wait was very long. I had to make a second trip back in to purchase an additional hook up the trailer and was another long wait in line. Again, I can't say enough positive things about the staff, they were very helpful, store was clean. When I dropped off the trailer there was a problem with the check in website....it wouldn't confirm my location. It kept giving me an error on your website. Was frustrating to be at the end of a drop off and it wasn't working. Eventually it did work after about 10 minutes of trying. Overall the experience was fine just the time was a delay for entire process. I would recommend uhaul and will use in the future.ROBERT Z.

I did receive a call from a representative at the location asking if i had dropped the equipment back off and I stated that I had returned it the same night at midnight like I had stated when I rented the TOW DOLLY. I was never contacted to be told the uhaul we rented would not be at the location we chose so we drove over 20 minutes to the location we chose near our moving location to be sent back the 20 minutes back. We did not get the correct truck. We were supposed to have a 26 foot truck and in error they only had a 10 foot truck. We got charge more for kms from the wrong location. No discount. Truck was fine but we had to make 7 trips as we were moving a family of 5 and were given a one room truck. Also as we were already behind because of the wrong location when we arrived there was 10 people ahead of us in line. 3 if the 10 were very upset as well with their situation. Not the best service. We wouldn't have used all of the kms if we picked it up at the correct location and had the correct truck.RONNIE L.

I picked up my dolly on a sunday morning, I arrived at 9am when the store opened. I was not able to get my dolly or get into the store for at least 35 minutes, waiting outside in the cold. Only 2 of the wickets in the store were open, staff did not appear prepared for the amount of people waiting in the lineup. Once I finally got inside, staff on duty did not appear to take things serious and were moving rather slow. Its not acceptable to have people waiting outside in the cold. What are you going to do when the hot temperatures arrive.James S.
Fix your website, it failed at every point of my reservation. It allowed me to reserve for 10am for a truck and location that were apparently not available. I was then failed to be notified in a timely manner, I was running on the assumption my move was occuring at 10am for nearly a week before I was notified I wouldn't be getting it until 6:45pm at a different location. Had to reschedule the moving help because of that. Then mobile check in failed so I had to wait in line. Then because I got it so late I had to return it after the location was closed and it failed to check in my truck twice because it failed to refund MY money back to MY original payment method. I was then forced to select a "separate payment method" in order to avoid you trying to charge me with the $20 "convenience" fee to have one of your representatives check it in. Your website then told me I would be contacted to discuss a payment method for the refund to be sent through within 48 hours. 43 hours later I get an email saying a check for an amount lower than what I was owed was being sent to the house I just moved out of in 4-6 weeks. Everything to do with your website has been a negative experience to the point where I'm expecting this review to fail at some point on me too. I will not be recommending U-haul to anyone but my worst enemies from this point forward. Thank you for taking my money and not giving a damnSebastian D.
All the representatives I dealt with were very helpful! I don't recall the names of who I dealt with at the counter and who unloaded the trailer off my vehicle, but they were both very helpful. I believe it was Isaac who loading the trailer on my vehicle was very good! Just give everyone a big thanks, it was super busy but the front desk and everyone else was working hard to keep things moving.Jeffrey M.
The truck was clean, however, not ready on time ( over an hour to get my keys) and when I finally did, there wasn't any of the rental equipment in the back that I ordered. I had to flag someone down in the yard to get me blankets and dollies. There wasn't a furniture dolly available even though I had pre-booked 2 months in advance. Very disappointing. The employees were pleasant I do have to say, even though the over all experience was horrible.Keith A.

We had done an online reservation and check-in for 7:30am, but it was 8:15 before we were processed and out the door to find the truck, with no extension to our return time, only a warning that if we were late returning the truck there would be another $150 late charge! Wasted a good 5 minutes trying to process both my husband's and my credit cards which would not take the payment, until the attendant finally offered to manually enter it because her machine wasn't working. It was a full hour before we were on our way! And we had 2hr elevator times booked that we had to stick to in two apartment buildings! We had assumed the online check-in would avoid standing in line. We had tried many times to call the store number and they would either pick up and hang up immediately, or pick up and put us on an indefinite hold! Terrible service. Terrible experience.Randall W.

I originally booked at a different location but was called day before advising me I had to attend new location and that I would be getting larger truck. This was not OK. I had to change my plans as I had to drive across the city. The large truck was challenging to park in my driveway etc. The staff that called me were matter of fact and unprofessional. I've used this location several times and although it is not the most convenient to me geographically they ALWAYS have the equipment I need when i reserve. The staff have the experience to make the checkout procedure quick and easy and the yard staff ensures the trailer is hooked up safe and secureSteve C.

The overall experience was fine, except I was charged for 2 Litres of fuel after I re-fueled and returned the vehicle with more fuel than what we had on pickup. I pointed this out after I waited for 45 mins on hold on my phone and had the charges reversed. However I am left with the conclusion that this is normal for Uhaul to charge and see if they get any push back. I know the game and don't appreciate this. This will definitely affect my decision to use Uhaul againCARLO C.

Interior of the truck was clean however the windows and mirrors of the exterior were not. This made it difficult to safely drive after our move when it was dark. Obviously I used the front wipers and fluid to clean the front windshield however it remained streaked and dirty. The side windows were dirty enough to impede use of the side mirrors safely. Booking online and all of the steps from trying to find our truck to going inside to get the key and then again when returning it has turned me off from booking online again. I was hoping to avoid entering the store at all by booking on line for virtual pick up of the truck.Penni S.

Would have appreciated if the credit/debit machine was wiped down between customers as we have to click buttons and sign with the pen. I also would have appreciated hand sanitizer right at the customer service counter so I could have used it once I completed my transaction especially since the credit/debit machine was not wiped between uses.SONYA M.
Not a good first impression. Location was busy upon arrival and when we went to switch drivers for our personal vehicle, were rudely yelled at by a service technician "Hey, you can't park there". When I informed him that we weren't parking, just switching drivers, he abruptly turned and walked away. Girl at the desk was amazing and made check in easy. We rent vehicles from another company on a regular basis and I would highly recommend renting vehicles full with fuel and having them returned full. We were charged for 2 litres of gas. Apparently, we didn't put the gauge back to where it was when we picked up the vehicle. For such a small amount, wasn't worth the argument however, didn't leave a totally favourable lasting impression. All in all not a bad experience however, our first choice for rentals will be the company we currently use. Please find out who checked me in, because she's actually the reason we would return. I'm really confused by the 24/7 Truck Share program. I used the website to book a cargo van for 8:00 am. But when I get there they say I can't access it until 9:00 am? So I have to wait an extra hour and then even at 9:00 am the 24/7 Truck share program doesn't work? Why give me the option to choose 8:00 am pick up or the Truck Share? Found out after renting the unit on 2nd floor and arriving in London with my things there's no elevator on the premises and had to pay extra for a unit on the ground as stairs would have been a problem. Terrible customer service! We cancelled storage before actually renting a “container”. U haul still charged us a full month rent. We never occupied it at any time! (check your cameras) We received threatening emails we owed money, from this Fatima women, who also called our daughter, breached our Confidential personal information, defaming us & insisting it was “fishy” (in her jargon)! Good thing....this phone conversation was Recorded. This woman, Fatima was very unprofessional & rude! This woman needs to be REPRIMANDED or you will lose customers. We will be pursuing this further with our Attorney & have contacted The Canadian Consumer Protection Act! My experience from the day I arrived until I moved out was horrible. When I arrived they didn't have the size storage I reserved so they gave me a bigger one at the same price. Then a month later they called and said I had to move my things to a different unit or I would have to pay more. I live out of town so I couldn't do that and it was COVID The manager insisted that it be moved so we did. Then they tried to charge me more that the price I was quoted every month.
