Virtual process was poor. The location services had a problem on the website so I had to down load the app to allow it to work with my phone. Then I was requested various forms of identification but this hadn't been mentioned earlier and I could have filled it in from home had I known, and I was in a hurry. I thought the virtual would be quicker. I gave all the required info and it didnt work. The chat function was frustrating as the person or not in it wasn't able to help and just asked for more things. I finally went inside even though it had been hinted at that I would need to pay more for that item. The worker there was great and helpful and completed the transaction. The location and service was great. The app / virtual experience needs improvement.

I rented a cargo van & my additional equipment was not in the van. Not very helpful to order stuff & it not be there, and then find out you have to move everything my hand. Not very good service 🙂.

The online portal refused to let me return the truck, even though I showed up right on time at 6pm, per the contract. I had told the desk agent at the time I picked up the truck that I didn't have good reception at his location and he told me online was the only option. I ended up on hold with an agent at the 800 help-line for thirty fucking minutes. My experience with this uhaul rental was abysmal. 100% online is a bad approach for such a personal business where every customer has unique needs. Definitely won't be using Uhaul next time.

The location was not inviting. But the staff was very helpful taking the time to help unhook my equipment and guiding me in doing so.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and my overall experience was good. However, there was a delay in getting our equipment due to the fact that the computer system, according to the staff, had crashed and was going really slow. I had completed everything online in the days before so that we could just check in and go, so it was a bit frustrating that I still had to wait a good 20-30 minutes before getting my equipment. Again, the staff were super apologetic and I completely understand that these things happen. Hopefully the issue has been resolved. Also, it would be safer if the side view mirrors on the 10 foot truck were more adjustable. While you could pull the holder forward or back, there was not an in between option (it was one or the other) and you could not adjust the actual mirror itself; this made it more challenging for my mom to see when driving the truck. These issues will not necessarily deter me from using U-Haul again in the future but something to consider when choosing the rental truck.

I paid a $100 deposit. It was around $60 for rental. I returned the truck after hours, so I went back the next day to get my money back. The guy had NO clue what he was doing. Took 20 minutes just clicking around saying “uhhhh”. We had somewhere to be so I asked if it was going to take much longer and his response was “to be honest, yeah prolly”. So we left. I CALLED the next day before returning and no one answered. No one EVER answers the phone. I still haven't been able to speak to someone to receive the remainder of my deposit. This location is absolutely awful and they owe me money and I'm going to take action if I don't hear from someone soon.

I was switched locations to one that did not accommodate my pick up time and allow for contactless or 24/7 pick up. This was extremely frustrating as we had to go back to the location and petition to do so. Schedules were made including movers for the time I requested.

The individuals who work there are not interested in helping any clients. The workers there were more interested in paying attention to their cell phones. Never again will I rent from uhaul

Great customer service! I was running late the day of and forgot to call. I received a phone call letting me know that they've continued to roll my reservation forward and I was still able to get the truck size I needed. Once I arrived, check in was quick and the truck and supplies were ready to go. The truck was clean and ran great. Kept me and all my belongings safe for the trip to Atlanta!

The girl was wait on another guy when I walked in but he was standing there while the girl was texting. The guy was not happy. She never said a word to me like hello someone will be with you. Not a word just texting. She also had her mask on her chin not covering her mouth. Right now The mask thing is Unexceptionable....

I found working with your booking person on the phone to be pleasant. I arrived at store and was greeted with a smile from the young man behind the desk. It's unusual in this world to find a young man who seems to enjoy his job and provide a service to the customers of the company he works for. So what can you do to make it better for the next customer? Make sure you take care of the person that answered the phone for me and the young man working behind the desk at the Greeneville Dallas location . Because those two people are people that will enhance your business.

The truck dashboard reading was wrong. The associates were informed but still went ahead and upcharge us. No responses were given when we voiced the concern.

The truck that we were assigned drove horribly. And we were charged $30 for a tank of gas when we only went 25 miles and supposedly we used more than a quarter tank of gas? If your trucks get that poor of a mileage, they need to be serviced better.

Make sure the equipment and supplies that are rented and PAID FOR are actually in the truck when it's picked up. I immediately called and let customer service know and they requested a refund from the pickup location, which still has not been addressed. So unacceptable to charge for, and keep the money for, goods not even provided.

The U-Haul representative misquoted the collision waiver by stating it was $10, when I ended up getting charged $20. There was no screen to view the actual rate - I just signed for the credit card charge. The gas tank fuel was overstated on the contract. I had to go back in when I saw that the fuel was at 1/2 when the contract said 3/4. The remote application for Covid-19 protection did not work. GMC vans are not well designed. The van was difficult to get in and out of. The rear view is obscured by a metal screen. But there was a back up camera on the rear view mirror.

I have probably used this rental location 30+ times for work. It has always been great and the staff very helpful and no equipment issues. This recent rental was the only occasion where I had a less than positive experience. It seems that the tire pressure was already low when I picked up the truck though I didn't notice the signal as I assumed everything had been inspected and ready to go. 10min after driving i felt the tire give as I tried to make a turn and immediately stopped at a gas station. The tire was under 30psi when it's supposed to be 80psi. There were some other issues with this truck as well - the gate always getting jammed, the material on the steering wheel peeling off, straining of the brakes, just in general seems like this truck has had a lot more wear and tear compared to any other vehicle I had rented.

I was not satisfied with the handling of the truck. Initially my trip was scheduled for an out of state rental. I could not imagine having to drive that vehicle out of state. The engine light was also on at the time of rental.

Someone before me had a pet. There was hair everywhere and a used dirty mask on the dash.. ew But the agents who helped me had a great personality and was so kind he took away the anxiety of renting

Truck was a little damaged when I got in it. Passenger door handle was broke and couldn't lock it. The gas was not as much as they said it was, so I should've checked that before I left so I didn't have to fill it back up to that amount. Otherwise it was fine.

I’ve never left a negative feedback. U-Box arrived early but I received no call/email. When I called I was placed on hold for an hr and transferred back and forth. Not pleased with our experience.
