I got right in there and they checked me out. And said the trucks outside. So I go out there’s several trucks out there. I have no idea which one I’m supposed to take and I did not know where to park my car because I was going to have to leave it up there. So I finally found the guy that was outside and ask him where to park my car and he said oh they didn’t tell you that inside. so he told me to park my car next-door to the pet store and so I did and I came back to get in the truck that I had rented and the windshield was so dirty. I could barely see out of it and nobody told me to take pictures and send them in before I left the lot. I’ve seen the text when I got home about 45 minutes later. I had taken pictures while I was in the lot because I have rented cars and things before and I knew that you were supposed to do a check of what was wrong with the vehicle before you took it so I have pictures, but I did not turn them in on the text that they had sent me because when I tried to do that, it had expired so I called the number and talk to a lady and ask her what I needed to do because I said I had taken pictures, but I did not know I was supposed to send them and I did not know any of that because nobody even mentioned it to me. So I took the truck I did my moving and I brought the truck back that night and I get up to the door to drop the keys and it says if you are dropping the keys, you have to check in on the return website so I get on there and it will not accept my card so I try another card and it will not accept that so I called the number that’s on the door and left a message a text message explaining that it would not accept my card. Even the one that I had used earlier that day when I got the truck. It was very confusing. Nobody told me I was supposed to take the pictures. Nobody told me I was supposed to get on the website to return it they said just drop the keys in here When you bring it back. so now I am going up there to find out how much they charge me for the trip. Communication is the problem I had with them.

I rented a smaller vehicle for a long-distance trip, but upon pickup I discovered the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Because I had a 10‑hour drive and a strict deadline to meet my home‑closing obligations, I was told my only option was to take your largest available vehicle. This substitution significantly impacted my trip. The larger vehicle consumed more fuel, was difficult to navigate while towing a trailer, and prolonged my travel time. As a result, I incurred additional out‑of‑pocket fuel expenses and unnecessary stress due to circumstances outside my control. I am requesting reimbursement for the increased fuel costs and an adjustment to the rental charges, as the vehicle I was forced to take was not comparable to what I reserved and the issue originated from equipment that was not functioning properly. I do want to mention the assistant store manager was no help and had a horrible disposition regarding the situation. I will add the store manager was very communicative but I’ve yet to hear back from her since she was off on Friday.

When a customer has rented from a company for years, they should be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this location. I was contacted regarding a trailer that I needed to keep longer than originally anticipated, and the way I was spoken to made me feel as though I was being treated like a delinquent rather than a long-term paying customer. To make matters worse, I was also overcharged, which has never happened to me in the past. As customers, we pay for a service and a rental agreement. We should be treated with dignity and provided with good customer service, especially when we have established a long history with the company. During my interaction with one of the employees at this location, I felt disrespected and completely disregarded as a valued customer. The experience was so upsetting that I felt compelled to file a report regarding the employee’s conduct. I have always appreciated the services provided by this company, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure that loyal customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

It was clean, but the engine light was on; it was almost empty. Noone told me I needed to take pics or bring it back with gas. I asked about the gas. I was driving so saw a text when I was stopped at a light. The engine was missing at one point and we were afraid we were going to break down. Return was easy.

This was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I reserved my truck on May 01, 2026, and on May 29, 2026, agent called and changed my pickup location. When I arrived at new location on May 30. 2026, computer was down and after waiting over 1-hour. I had to go to original Greenville to rent the only truck available. Agent was argumentative and rude. Quoted wrong rates and gave wrong mileage allowance.

The best! Anthony and Taylor are so very helpful and accommodated me in my move in so many ways. Jerry did a great job last year putting on my hitch and he is always so kind. One thing though, I was to get a deposit back of 60 dollars but only received a portion of that. Also, in my move to NC I paid cash and was to receive the 100 deposit back from that and never did. I would like a follow up on these deposits please. Thank you.

Passenger seat belt latch was stuck, should be fixed. App sucks - return process took forever, strongly disliked not being able to upload the photos I had snapped a minute earlier, and when I attempted to submit, the whole thing hung for 15 minutes and I finally gave up.

First, you all need more staff. Staff was way too overwhelmed. They were all nice but clearly understaffed. Next, my truck had the check engine light on and almost didnt start when I turned the key multiple times. Your app is awful; it wouldn’t let me do anything. It also randomly wouldn’t let me rent, which set me back over an hour until we got it resolved.

I was very disappointed in U-Haul for making me FOLD 25 packing blankets. I rented them, paid the charge, and you then made me get into the back of a box truck in 90° weather and fold up 25 blankets I paid to use. That would be like staying at a hotel and having to do the laundry before checking out. I’ve never been humiliated quite like that, and I don’t think I’ll be using your company ever again. Here’s an idea. Don’t nickel and dime your customers for stupid things like this if you want them back. I rented from you dozens of times. The staff were polite and professional! The young lady working the counter was really good with the customer service. The vehicle could have been better cleaned: There was dog hair and the smell of it in the vehicle; also, there was a good bit of trash in the door pocket and on the floor. Other that, the vehicle was ok. The rating is high because of young lady at the desk; she was by herself but she worked the process so the wait for those of us in line was short.

I only had one issue. It took multiple phone calls and in person visit to get my unit closed out. Not sure what the hold up was because the office knew we’d been moved out for a week. Besides that, the staff was excellent 100%, the unit was very nice, they were also very helpful with my truck rental. I’ll definitely refer them to people.

I am grateful that after the wedding there was an open unit to store my decorations and I was seeking somewhere to bring all of my event decor. Unfortunately the access hours do not align with what I need. Also saturdays are big event days for me, having to wait in line just to see if I paid so that someone can escort me back to unlock my unit was a little unsettling. All in all the staff at this location are phenomenal and friendly!

I called on Sunday A.M. to make a reservation for a van and storage. I received the reservation and when to church. I came back from church and wnet to the Greenville location to get van and storage to use between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. No, the man at the desk took one hour to complet the transaction. Not one time during the one hour did he tell me, "Oh by the way, this storage is on the fourth floor." I took van at now 3:30 P.M. and went to my garage to load over 60 one gallon cans and at least 4 Five gallon drums of paints. I came back to the Greenville location at around 3:45 P.M. and then I was told by the attendant outside that the storage was on the fourth floor. I had to take the cans of paint an place them at my home on the front porch and sidewalk because of the hour of the day, now 4:00 P.M. I am seventy-two and cannot load these items upstairs which is what I was directed to do. When I complained inside, one of the men remarked, "Well, if you had been nice about this, we would have helped you." I believe that you have a business run by fools. My $19.95 van rental cost me almost $90.00 with all your charges of fraud and fees. I will never use your company again. I will never fail to discourage others from using your crazy and fradulent business.

This location is great. All of the staff are amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are incredibly accommodating. This particular storage unit is great because you have to go through the office to access it so it is incredibly safe. I was on the bottom level so even in the 100 degree Texas summer my items were still nice and cool. I would 100% recommended.

Dealing with, Mr. Ryan A. Dressler, GM was easy and a pleasure. Mr. Dressler made me feel like part of the U-Haul family, ever so comfortable and he was especially accommodating to the difficulties I was having.
