Absolute cluster of terrible to non-existent customer service. They gave me the wrong lock for my "free" month of storage only to return three days before checkout to find other locks on my locker and no one had a key! It took me calling every single uhaul number in existence to get a hold of the marketing company executive assistant who helped me find a way to get their lock off because not one other person gave any kind of a s*** and were not shy to tell you. Uhaul provided more than enough pads for our move and using their hints for packing things tight we didn't find a single thing damaged or broken after our move. The staff coordinating dropping boxes off and picking them up at the end were phenomenal and very kind. The only improvement I might suggest is in the boxes themselves. One box was a little dinged up but I'm sure it's just at the end of it's repair cycle. The rest were in very good condition.Ryan W.
We have rented trailers many times from this location. And, we have worked with Matthew on each of those occasions. Matthew goes above-and-beyond providing quick check-in. He is very professional,, conscientious, and personable. We go to this location knowing we will be treated VERY well by Matthew and staff. We won't go to any other location because of the service we get at the White Bear Ave location. Danny, a team member along with Matthew has helped us to hook up the trailer. He is very professional, efficient and helpful. There's no clowning around at this location. This get you in and out as quick as possible. I called to ensure they had a 4x8 enclosed trailer and they ensured me they would have it, when I got there 5 days later they did not have the trailer I reserved so at my cost I had to get a larger trailer my car couldn't handle. I had to drive 15-20 miles per hour slower than the posted speed because the huge trailer acted like a sail catching the wind and holding the car back. Went through triple the gas.JACK L.

We were not told that our reservation was extended past one day, resulting in an extra charge. When we turned the truck in absolutely no effort was made to see what happened from our side or hear us out. The trailer still had a few screws, nails, and misc pieces in it. The trailer also seemed bowed in the bottom area. Apparently the person that connected it to my truck did something wrong....but all that wasn't my biggest concern. The person that detached the trailer said he would get me all checked in, since the app wasn't working to check it in. I finally called a few hours later to follow up on that because I hadn't received the email or notification from the app that it was checked back in. Honestly had me worried that it was lent out again or being used by someone else under my name. I guess from now on I will have to make sure it's done while I'm there.Jeremy C.

I reserved a 20ft but it was not present when I arrived. I chose to just use the 15ft they had at the location not being used. This was less then ideal but I made it work. Being on Time was more important to me then driving around to other haul locations to pick up the truck I reserved.Lee D.

I was very pleased with how clean the facility always was. The first couple of years I wasn’t impressed with the customer service. You could be in the office and the workers would act like they didn’t see you till they wanted to. When working with people an acknowledgment goes along way. The last couple days of cleaning out my unit I dealt with 2 of the workers there. Both were very helpful and nice. One of the gentlemen came off of his break and helped me check out when I had questions about one of the online checkout steps. He then checked me out right in the office. They called me a week ago, just a few days after I got the unit, and asked if I'd moved out. I asked why they'd assume that and the guy said, "because there's only this round thing left in your unit". Just days after renting the $129 space, the uhaul employees opened my rented space!! I stopped by on February 3, 2021, the purpose of my visit was to rent the adjacent unit. My experience with the young lady Ronai (excuse the spelling) was not pleasant. She was borderline rude and condescending. I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me, as her elder I felt she lacked respect not only for the job but for me as a consumer. I rarely feel the need to send negative feedback, I get it when someone is having an off day, but in this instance, my observation was that this behavior was not a one-time occurrence. I got charged $20 because the app didn't work for picking up my location when I went to drop the van off. I even called after hours and no one responded. Also got charged $20 for $5 worth of gas. I was too exhausted to fill up the minimal amount as I had worked all day and had a finite amount of time to move heavy and many items only to do it all again the next day. Uhaul shouldn’t expect renters to refill tanks. Or at least penalize them terribly when they can’t. The space is also too small for 195.00 a month . Confusing service with uhaul. Kept getting sent to different locations. None of their staff was not trained on how to remove our trailer at final stop. My driver had to show him how to do this, and then do it himself. Very odd. Obviously, need to be trained on your equipment. Told me I was at the wrong location. Had me call my insurance agent, then lost all the info. Manager had her put down a fake insurance policy number. Very unorganized, but very friendly. Need training on their equipment.
