I have been using this facility since 2019. Management and staff are very professional I'm not just saying that. The manager Christiano so professional in calling always pleasant Derion very professional always. They send reminders, phone calls made don't feel pressured .Facility I have never seen not clean,bathrooms very clean I do feel safe with the way security set up people can't go in an out without code they know when you're in and out. Thanks once again U- haul thus time I'm going to try to have yard sell to get rid of some of my items,but if not I will be back again.

The facility is clean, and the people were nice and helpful. I appreciate having the security and the availability of carts to move items to the second floor. My only issue is the fact that there is nowhere to throw anything away. At least one small to medium trash can inside the bays where you unload items from your car or truck should be a standard for any business with customers coming and going.

I really didn’t have a problem with the rental. I just had a problem with all the fees that you charge those hidden charges that you have that’s kind of ridiculous. My associate that I work with Miss Natalie was very good. She was polite. Choose Customer originated and is it really if it wasn’t for her? I don’t think I would rent it from this location of this place. You know I think you need to be a little more straightforward with your advertisement and your prices on you cars and the details and stuff like that please call me and I can give you better details about my experience.

I also had a substantial wait trying to return the truck. There was a woman sitting at the desk with the employee, and it was an unusually long interaction. The man finally noticed me standing in the line with my young daughter, and decided to help me before he carried on with her. All of the situations from the day were made increasingly worse due to the fact that I am on crutches and in a cast to my knee, due to a broken ankle. Of course this is no one at UHAUL's fault, but some concern and compassion would have went a long way. This whole situation was NOT a good experience with UHAUL.

When I left the rental place everything was okay I put gas in the car I'm being charged for extra gas I filled it back up to a half a tank he was talking to other customers and said he would send a receipt I was told it was only $84 when I left I'm getting charged $107 now it's $23 higher than what I thought it was to rent the vehicle Don't like being told one thing and charged another. Other than that I had no problem with the equipment

When I arrived I wasn’t greeted by any U-Haul personnel. One attendant on duty was assisting a customer. Another attendant was available but didn’t greet me. After a protracted wait I asked the second attendant could he help me. He obliged but commented that he thought I was with the other customer—who was being serviced by the first attendant. (It was at that time I thought the first attendant should have told the second attendant to help me when I arrived instead of making me wait.) The attendant who helped me said he was new. While performing his check in, he went to the truck. After waiting 10 mins, I approached him at the truck to see was taking so long. He asked about the gas level and I told him I returned it at the level at which I rented it. He spent another 5 mins in the truck. My husband approached the truck and inquired about what was taking so long. 5 mins later he finally exited the truck and returned to the office. I asked if he had everything he needed and he questioned if the mileage was correct because it was low. I responded that given the truck being new the low mileage is not unusual. He agreed and printed my receipt. Something that should have only taken 5-10 mins, took 30 mins. I would have checked in using my phone there was no bar code above the drop box. I want to compliment the attendant/manager (?) who assisted me when I picked up my rental on Friday, March 20th at 9am. She’s always helpful and attentive when I arrive. If she’s busy with a customer she makes sure another attendant assists me.

Rain and snow drainage froze the bottom of my door and I was unable to access my bin through the snow season. I could not get staff help in accessing my bin because they had no idea what to do. Other than that, the facility was more than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Should I have to rent a bin again, I will know what area to choose of the bins.

I had been there since 2019 following the death of family members started off with five storages went to 2.In all this time the facility was very clean well lit everything was operational.I always got to know staff even when hard times came upon the staff would call and be very helpful saying Mrs. we can see if maybe a down size or look at my storages and seen what wad a better fit for my budget, would I recommend most definitely 1st choice.If I needed to use service again most definitely I love Ms.Tameka very approachable truly Christiano I hope I'm pronouncing his name right great staff.I truly thank you all for your kindness Mrs

As I was unloading my truck a mice tried to enter my unit when I was told pest control come once a month. Plus my 1st reservation was canceled when I had insurance on my reservation the one I have now isn’t showing my insurance due to my belongings are in outside storage unit,Manager offered me a larger unit for same price of my 1st reservation do to what I experienced the entire day and I’m unhappy with my entire move with U-Haul.

This is my first time using U-Haul storage services in my experience was beyond what I could have imagine despite others peoples previous reviews. At this particular location in Markham, the general manager (Tamica) along with the cashier (Nunn) made me feel like family rather than a just a customer. The atmosphere was friendly. The store was very clean, and although they did not have the unit that I wanted available at the moment, they were still able to accommodate me temporarily until the wound that I desired will be available free of charge.

Tamicca Rockett was a great help in a bad situation. After 20 hours on the road, my storage unit was not updated to another facility as discussed with U Haul customer service prior to my move in date. Tamicca was able to get me into a unit and was very pleasant throughout the process. I would have been stuck with a truck full of my property and nowhere to put it. Thank you for having an employee go above and beyond for a customer. Five stars for Tamicca!!!

When this facility was run by the woman I 1st rent from it was better. Every manager since she retired has been absent, less professional & just plain worst!!! Uninformed not knowing policy or communicating policy to renters. I was told that my rent refund cold be pro-rated...when I move out she suddenly doesn't know how to process a refund! She calls her coordinator who states no refund or prorated amount will be provided & stated a call to corporate was a waste of time!!! Clearly the customer is not your focus...just your profits.... I had rented for several years auto pay customer & to be absolutely no consideration at termination of my rental contract is disgusting and only profit focused. Managerial staff at this location has gone from great to incompetent!!!!

She is so pleasant, professional, courteous, kind, and just a very nice person. It was a joy working with her. The facility was great and so was the staff. My complaint is the contract. Unused rent not being refunded caused me to have to move in a hurry and resulted in me being injured while moving. Before Uhaul took over, the previous owners prorated and refunded unused rent. I’m extremely disappointed and likely will not use Uhaul for future storage needs.

The facility was fine. It was always clean and secure. The staff was often rude and not helpful at all. I had a storage unit for several years and therefore my access card became worn and would not work well. I often spent 10 minutes swiping the card many times to open the gate. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she did nothing. I asked for a new card or perhaps a code. Later on she gave me a code that worked for about a year. Also the fact that the rent kept increasing like clock work was ridiculous considering the terrible customer service.

The gate at this facility was inoperable for about a month or two with no instructions or information indicating when the gate would be working. You had to go inside to speak with someone to get information. This facility also changed management, the new manager is not as efficient or informative as Ms Vernita. The facility is average.

I'd didnt like the policy. I'd came the day before the next payment due 10/ 31. I'd told the representative I was moving out that date. She told me I had to move out that day 10/30 otherwise, I would have to pay for another month. Secondly, they auto charge my account last month.They said I'd signed the form, but I'd didn't and she couldn't show me the form on the system. The storage facility was clean, but on the business side unprofessional. Yesterday, at 3:30 I had to rent a van and find someone to move my things within 2hrs before they closed at 5pm. I was very displeased with her professional behavior. Fortunately , I was able to do it.

This facility apparently does not care about the service it provides. Elevators rarely worked. Access gate card consistently did not work and neither did the remote code. Very frustrating.

Everything was great, if I had any feedback to provide it was warmer on the 2nd floor of the indoor storage area. However, there were signs posted stating the climate control would be, I believe between 65 - 85 degrees. The temperature was within that standard at 80 degrees, which was a bit warm while moving. Other than that, everything was clean, simple and the staff were friendly.

It took some time to get everything lined up, but as it was a Sunday and the computers were running slow it was to be expected. The attendant was very friendly and helpful, and lined us up with a very good outside storage unit. The location is convenient to I-80 and the rates very competitive.

Input in a claim because of roaches were in the adjacent unit and my claim was denied . I also took everything out of my storage unit but 2 items and I told them I wasn’t working and I was still being charged. I no longer needed those items and didn’t have any place to discard them.

The staff at U-Haul was okay. I give it an average rating because the key cards don't last very long and I got tired of purchasing key entry cards. Sometimes the key cards would not work on the entry gate but would still work for the indoor storage entry doors. In the end I found the same size 10X10 interior storage unit for $50 cheaper with $3.000 worth of insurance included. For this reason I would have to recommend friends and family to my new storage provider. Aside from that I did enjoy my stay with U-Haul and I wish you all the best.
