POOR RATING to Upper Management of Operations if I could for coordination. UHAUL is not meeting customer expectations by putting a clause if your equipment if not available, that they will contact where to go to pick it up. THE NIGHT BEFORE. REALLY!!! To leave a customer with NO choice but to accept. Was this an upper management decision? to cut budget by not having additional personnel on payroll to move any requested equipment relocated to meet customer expectations? Customer Service comes from the top. Since I have retired from a major company. I know how these write ups are processed in todays culture. We've heard this so many times but it is what it is. Most things went well. It was clean and safe. We only have 2 complications: We didn’t get a card to go through the door and the pin we set never worked. I had to ask another costumer for help one day I came to do something in my camper. Also we told the staff we were thinking of not using the space anymore. It is difficult to accurately determine how much gas need to be put back in a car when returning. If tanks were always full during pickup, then it would be easier to just fill it again.Or install digital fuel consumption and trip meter.Lasha G.

Truck ran a little rough it was clean as to be expected from a truck used for moving peoples junk ... as for your website and storage location in east Brunswick i will never use your facility there i reserve online and when i got there there were no units available thank god Cube smart had just opened!!EDUARDO M.

It really was a smooth transaction, which helps with the stress of moving anything. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My only issue was my son forgot a door locking bar in the side of the truck, where the wood is, and although I called and asked about it. The guy said he didn't work the weekend, and hasn't seen anything. Now I have to drive over tomorrow to ask someone to check the van. As I'm sure it's there,SUSAN B.
Leakage from snow in winter and rain now, at times, has ruined clothes, bedding and some power tools. Some I cleaned and salvaged but "investigation" is still in progress says Victoria. I asked to be moved to a 10x10 because now I don't need 10x15 due to damaged goods thrown away. That request I made back in January when I first noticed ice melting between the metal roof panels. No customer service is complimentary. I've used uhaul only, in the past, never again though. I'll be going to small claims court due to no response due their lack of roof maintenance.TOMA B.

I came in this morning to rent a cargo van for a move out in Philly. They had one available and the process was smooth. Very easy and simple experience!JOHN S.
Nothing to do with the location, just a real frustrating experience trying to pick up the truck this morning with UHaul asking for a second person to confirm my reservation. Wasn't told about this, and it was difficult getting any person I listed to answer the phone before 8am on a Sunday morning. Held us up with getting the truck. Also should note, that I called U-Haul when I was in transit to alert them that the seal/zip tie was broken and laying on floor of truck by dolly. I did NOT use it and called to advise someone so I wouldn't be charged.Stacey S.

When I received the key to the van, I walked around and found many dents and scratches those were not marked, potential for extra charge on return if I didn't mention. Especially a huge dent in the front bumper. I asked if I can return after hours and was told that I can just park the van in the lot and drop off the key in the drop off box but there was no mention of the extra $20 charge for after hour return even though I returned it early. I rent truck few times a year and will not be returning to this location again.Aydin U.

Everything was fine for the three years that I had a storage unit there. The only negative comment that I would like to state is that once when the security gate was broken and in the up position for weeks I was never notified that this happened and there was nothing done to provide alternate security to prevent anyone from driving in or out of the facility before the gate was repaired and operational again.scott o. | Overall Experience

The only problem which is getting worse not better is someone answering the phones at the Marlboro location. At any time that seems to be mission impossible on reaching anyone especially when u wanna make a payment. To be blunt ur staff is super friendly and helpful. Problem is u have to actually reach someone to actually enjoy the experience U have no idea how much money uhaul is losing daily over that worsening issue but again the awesome staff compensates that to a degree. unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the facility as roof had leak and some of sons belongings were destroyed . the issue is being resolved via insurance claim and the general manager promptly contacted me and filed a report but I was disappointed that I wasn't offered any dispensation from the facility. also there was no light inside the unit which was disappointing .Lawrence C. | Overall Experience

I was given the wrong truck, I had to make 2 trips, plus I had to put gas in the truck 3 times, plus I was told I wasn’t going to be charged the $100.00 for making the reservation, but I was, they charged me the environmental fee.. I made my reservation for a Saturday but I kept getting calls saying it was a different day.. on the day of moving am going to the storage unit the only person who gave me the up most respect was Victoria the young lady at the storage place. Such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I think after this I may never use them again. I will be calling bc I was told it’s going to take 10-15 days to get my $100.00 back..
