Actually the Van rented was dirty on the outside. Fuel tank was not exactly full when I rented it. I had to fill water in the reservoir for the window washer. Less than 30 miles and fill up cost $25 that is ridiculous. Dropoff area to return was no signage. I parked in an open stall. I was told to park where the clean up area was. Not exactly stated on returning directions. Nor drop box for keys.Dakota M K.

We picked up our moving truck after hours at 9:30 pm and at the time there were homeless people that approached us. There should be some sort of security there at night. In addition, there should be trash receptacles at the entrance. I had a few empty cups that I needed to dispose of but couldn't find a trash receptacle. Also, I had a small toddler booster seat that I needed to dispose of, Uber driver waiting to take me to the airport, and flight to catch. I asked the nice gentleman that worked there if he had any use for the booster seat for another customer but he said no. I went outside to throw it away and couldn't find a trash can so I left it on the side of the building. Cheyenne, who works for uHaul, was inside and came running outside and rudely told me to take the booster seat. She was yelling, rude, and I didn't appreciate her tone. I am a paying customer and do not tolerate being spoken to that way. I did tell her there was no trash can outside and she said she would charge me $10 to dispose of it if I didn't take it. She should not be in customer service if she can't talk to people in a professional way. Our kind Uber driver ended up taking the booster seat and disposing it for us.Sam G.

The employees at this location have no clue what they're doing including the manager. I was quoted a price over the phone when I reserved the cargo van and then when I arrived they did not grant the price they quoted me. The day I came to pick up my cargo van they didn't have me sign a contract they didn't ask for my credit card and then we're calling and harassing me as if it were my fault they didn't do their jobs! Terrible terrible terrible!!!!!! Very unprofessional!!! Will never rent from this location again!!!!!!SUZANNE F.

Van needed an oil change. I was told the van would be .89 a mile but it was $1.49 a mile. The store associate is aware that customers are told the .89 mile when they book but refused to honor at the store location. Incredibly disappointed that I was misled about the price.Melissa P.

The instructions said to pickup the truck from the lot with an image showing the parking lot. After walking around and checking all the trucks we found it in the front. The front of the building was not what the instructions/map detailed and it was a little frustrating. Additionally, the instructions said the number of the truck was on the left side of the truck on the bottom left corner but it was actually up on the top of the truck.Taylor T.

I was "forced" to purchase a U-Haul door lock because I was told that I could not use my own padlock ... "it MUST be this certain type of lock". That is not true because many other doors have normal padlocks on them. They got an extra lock sale from me because they said it was mandatory.SUE B. | First Impressions

Our oil gage was pretty low. I'm 98% positive the screw in the tire was there when we got it. We had a slow leak in the tire, so we had to use the spare almost right away. I would recommend providing tools to change a tire because we both knew how to change a spare but had to wait awhile to get tools due to the time of day which wrecked our plans. I did like the truck however. It was clean but in my opinion not well maintained. We also had garbage in the bed of the truck when it was picked up.LAUREN W.

It did smell like foreign food being cooked in side... The 6ft was tall enoiugh to put a 6 ft fridge in... the door not tall enough ughh. If I was not already 3 hrs delayed because I had to wait for road assistance to replace a dead battery in the truck which made me pay for 2 guys for 3 dead hours. Having other commitments did not allow enough time to then get another arrangement for the fridge. that is laying on it's side. U Haul has made this move more frustrating than it needed to be. Check the tires for screws and let the customer know what to do if they have a tire issue. The unit we rented has a screw in the tread/sidewall area. It didn't affect the trip but we were worried about it the whole week. Other than that, thank you for being there!JEFFREY D.

better accuracy of fuel level. This is first time I was given vehicle with less fuel in tank than was stated in , i.e. it was 7/8 full but contract stated full tank. I drove off before noticing and so had to return vehicle with full tank which was four gallons more than I used. three times ttried to get signed up online. Came in and it would not download. Took another 30 minutes. Pulled up to destination and was an old dolly rolling around in the back - drove 26 miles and was charged for 8 gallons of fuel. Charged for dolly that I did not want. Your system would not allow the manager to pull up my contract so I had to drive in once again WITH a copy of my contract that I had downloaded and give it to her. She adjusted. Overall a totally bad experience. NOT the fault of the facility - TOTALLY THE FAULT OF YOUR CORPORATION!!! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER - MUCH WASTED TIME.John L.

Everything was amazing except the computer to check in was often not working. That also meant the speaker to call the front office was not working. Several times I’d have to get in my car and drive to the front to have them let me in. It was just inconvenient. The actual units were very nice and climate controlled. Bathrooms were not kept up very well. Soap was watered down or nonexistent. It’s still one of the better storage facilities I’ve used in Maui.Lexi M. | Overall Experience

All good and great staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist. Uhaul is still my go to place for moving and storing.. thank you. Not a complaint but an observation.. during this covid time and noting the signage on the storefront... All staff do not wear face coverings until costumer comes in.. Ok.. Some staff remove their face coverings once outside with customers but then do not take the precautionary self distancing measures.
