The truck ran well, but the brakes seem a little spongy, both empty as well as full during the move. I’m not sure if that is normal for a F650, but I had to manually downshift often to ensure that the truck would stop in transit.

Fernando RHad to take the truck to get the windows cleaned. Inside smelled like smoke. This is not the first time with that issue. Long hauls and unable to breath makes for a long trip. However the customer service is phenominal. Morgan is phenominal!!! I have done business with her before and she is the best. The quality of vehicle is superb and have never had issue with the 26ft, 10ft, truck or van. Special thanks to Morgan again for her knowledge of requirements on the highway with transporting our equipment.

Gail WI booked a 15' truck and got a 13' truck. As a result, I had to leave over $1000 worth of furniture behind, so no, I'm not happy. This is after they changed the pick-up location from a mile from my house to another pick-up place 10 miles from my house. What's the point of making a reservation.

Rebecca WThe location was not acceptable when we lived on St. Augustine Beach. We had to drive 45 minutes to pick up the rentals. That's an hour and a half both ways. That was not acceptable. The pad lock on the back of the truck we rented didn't have a key. The person at the office would not provide me with a key or replacement. The clerk said I would need to purchase another, though I had nothing to do with the lost key to the lock provided. U-Haul is a billion dollar company and they wouldn't even provide a replacement lock. Also, the check engine light was on.

Michael BThe per mile rate is too expensive, but I did appreciate that I was given an accurate estimate of what the total cost would be based on my expected mileage. The final cost even ended up being less than the estimate. I forgot to top off the tank, and even though I was charged a premium for my mistake, it wasn't exorbitant compared to gas station prices. So that was nice. The young fellow working that day was also extremely pleasant and friendly, and explained everything succinctly.

SCOTT LMy most recent experiences at this location have been terrible. I have rented 4 times in the past 2 months and you would think that they would want to keep a regularly returning customer who leaves the vehicle in great shape and returns on time with no issues, but that is clearly not the case. I had an unbelievably bad customer interraction with an employee named Jeff on one visit. To summarize, he kept me waiting for an hour to rent the vehicle. He was hostile and rude and clearly overwhelmed due to what I can only assume is poor staff scheduling. I was never contacted by management regarding the event. The next time I rented (they have the only pick up in town) the vehicle smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that I had to put extra miles on the vehicle to pick up my son to help me because my husband had a terrible reaction to the smell in the vehicle and it ended up costing me way more than it should have. Unbelievably poor service and equipment.
DAWN MWhole process was fast and easy. That's why I always use u-haul for when I need to move anything. Front desk employee was great to work with too.

JEREMY HI rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer, it indicates on your web page that it would use 1 7/8" or a 2" ball. I called the pick up location the morning of the pick up to verify the size ball I would need and I was told the same as your web site that I could use either a 1 7/8" or 2" ball. When I arrived, I was told it has to be a 2" ball. I have a hitch with three different size ball and the 1 7/8" in position to use. the lock for my hitch had been exposed to bad weather and my key didn't work (My Fault). I had to cut the lock with a my own grinder because your shop didn't have any tools that could cut the lock. I now understand that uhaul has two types of 6x12 trailers that use different size balls, I'll know for the next time because your staff didn't.

BRIAN SStrange aroma in the vehicle at pickup; otherwise, spotless. There is an apparent leak in the "grandma's attic" portion of the truck. we had several boxes soaked at the surface. Also, the seal on the back door may need adjustment, as water leaked in around/below the door, as well. [there were horrendous thunderstorms during the drive] Brakes on the truck were weak in comparison to other trucks rented in the past (I have had worse).
Michael MTires were either unbalanced / overinflated or suspension was giving out. Trailer had a lot of bounce and multiple running lights were burned out. Only negative experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. Recommend giving that trailer a ride before renting to another customer.
