Switched storage units to a new company that is $45 less than yours for the same size and features. Its 6 blocks away so the same area. They also offer free first month and free moving truck. Consider lowering prices to get more business

My only issue/inconvenience was that the trucks gas gauge was off, showing 3/4 tank at pick up, iI went to gas up, and gas went everywhere, still at 3/4 tank when full.

One evening I spent an hour or more talking with a rep and getting my hitch appointment set up. It was long, I thought, but I understood under the circumstances. We weren't sure my particular hitch was even going to come in, but the manager did all he could to fit the job in my tight schedule.

Better telephone access to this branch. If no answer goes to national reservation queue and hold tome is 10-15 minutes. I'd rather leave local message and call back. Pretty frustrating to call and get national call center

The young man that checked me was really nice and friendly, he even helped me unload an item from the truck and didn't hesitate when I asked him if he could help me. I'm not sure if he realizes how much I appreciated that, I was almost done and was running out of steam.

Problem with dropping off the truck using the uhaul site. Continued to not be able to see my location and would not allow me to proceed with the after hours return. Recommend you have the option to enter the location if your site is not working. I did confirm my phone was enabled to share my location

The manager at this location was not helpful to my husband. We needed more U Boxes and said we can't get you any! So we had to spend six thousand to get PODS they came out very promptly! Also TV boxes had no packing in them several were the same. On this end in Chapin, SC we had no phone call and they said we aren't delivering today because you didn't answer. I had no record of the phone call on my phone. It took me several phone calls and finally they did get the unboxes to us in time because we had unpackers coming. Lots of work and unnescessary. Windshield was dirty on both the inside and outside when we picked up the truck. We didn't notice the inside was dirty until we were driving into the sun late in the day and it made it hard to see to drive. The rest of the vehicle was spotless. Overall a very pleasant experience. We were in and out very quickly, even though we were late arriving to pick up the truck.

The consistent problem of not having someone answer a phone call from customer service is unacceptable as a customer. This was an issue in my last rental where my brake cable broke and when I called I was on the phone waiting for 30+ minutes on hold. This rental I was not issued my receipt via email as they stated they would. Turns out he forgot to put it in and therefore my rental remained open. I tried calling to verify the rental was closed, but I could not get through. I had to drive to the store and confirm with the individual that I turned it in the day before. He acknowledged that he forgot to do so. I would give this facility 5 stars if the phone call system worked in a better manner.

Could be a Little cheaper. I used the truck 1 hour, drove only max. 20 miles and it cost $38.00. Plus I added $7.00 in gas.

Pulled up the wrong truck. Nothing was ready. I called to tell them i was taking the truck to KC and leaving it there - NOT RETURNING THE TRUCK TO THE SAME LOCATION. The lady on the phone said that was fine and she would update. Later found out it was never updated.

Where to park the uhaul was very confusing. The app said anywhere but their was some track set up at the location that looked like a combination of a CDL training track and maybe somewhere you were supposed to return trucks. Only one side of the tent said return tent so I did not see it until I had already gave keys up in lock box

I rent frequently from this location because the staff are upbeat and helpful, but not on Saturday. Not sure if these staff were new (not the usual 2 I see here), if they were short staffed but they did not seem to want to be there. They were not only short with me, but with other customers and on the phone. I have never been handed the keys and told to find my rental in the lot... I will still use this location in hopes this was just a fluke, but not sure I would return again if it happens a second time. I don't mean to complain or be a snitch, but this location has ALWAYS had amazing customer service, hope this was just a 1 time thing. :)

They changed my location so instead of only driving 12 miles I had to drive 41... they changed my gas rate to .69 to the mile but the gas put back in it and the extra miles I really ended up on the crap end of the deal just because they didn't have my truck ready even though i ordered way ahead it's like they didn't care

I rented the trailer, I stated that it would be on a friends truck of which was discussed no further, the lights didn't work correctly and therefore we returned the next day to have the lights checked, two boys came out to check and one kid said that I checked out the trailer with another truck and both of these idiots simply got up and left the trailer and went inside leaving me with a trailer with no lights! I eventually spent 3 hours working to get these lights to work of which I make $75.00 an hour and therefore you owe me $225.00. They stated they didn't need to repair this, if it was a real issue they should have told me to come in and correct the rental agreement. Your personal should be fired, I wouldn't allow someone with the attitude these children gave me that work for you wouldn't work for me cleaning the my toilets! Your service is absolutely crap and I am serious that you owe me my time to fix your equipment!

The staff at the location were helpful and courteous. The app gives confusing direction when getting equipment. It has you locate the equipment and provides approval in the app, but then in order to get the keys, you have to go inside. This made for several walking trips back and forth between the equipment and the store. While checking out in the app, someone in a uhaul truck was excessively accelerating in the parking lot. The camera function in the app stopped working mid check out. The equipment said it was due for an oil change, but it got the job done.

The truck was unsafe and absolutely no way could pass a D.O.T. Inspection. The steering was so loose the steering wheel would move vertically if I hit bumps at 50 mph or above. I don't expect a luxury vehicle but I expect it to be mechanically safe.

The staff during todays visit was professional and friendly. My only recommendation would be the online check-in. I tried multiple times to check-in online, via my laptop and iphone but it didn't complete my check-in. One of the staff members said, on Saturdays, there's less people to verify my drivers license number, however, I tried checking in during the week and had the same issue.

Was disappointed that the space I was told was available was in fact already occupied and we didn’t find that out until we got to the storage. Also, I felt as though other matters were more important than finishing my checking process - he was more concerned about helping another employee who was on the phone with a customer looking for mattress covers- he then got side tracked talking to a different employee about something out back. I wish I knew the names of all the people involved, but the manager and the two front desk women at the Stony Brook U-Haul have been outstanding. Helpful, considerate and very easy to work with. I will need another storage facility this late summer, and I will definitely use the U-Haul facility at Stony Brook in Omaha again

Correction to Previous Review: I was mistaken in previously stating that 24 Hour Access was not available at this location. It is for an very reasonable monthly fee. I have always experienced exceptional and professional customer service, equipment rental, and moving supplies at this location. Great staff and the management has always been helpful and available to address any concerns, questions, or modifications when needed and their time and efforts are greatly appreciated.
