Hello, sorry I'm just responding regarding the service. My 1st issue was with the customer service rep who scheduled the appointment. I asked for a 9 am reservation and it was scheduled for 9 pm. When I got my confirmation and realized it was scheduled for the wrong time I was transferred to speak with a manager to find another location with a truck. My pick up location should have been 90th Maple but after the fact they had no trucks available. The rep also transferred me to speak with a manager knowing the location was already closed for the night and I would not be able to speak with a manager until morning.I feel this was poor customer service on the rep's end. I did not realized there were two locations in Millard and my son and the driver went to the wrong location and stated they were treated rudely and told they were at the wrong location and nothing they could do to assist. I was not with them and am not sure what actually transpired, but I do believe them and think the situation could have been handled more professionally with whomever they dealt with at the wrong location. I have used U-Haul several times over the years every time I've moved however, this is the worst experience I've ever had which started with the time being scheduled wrong and having to get a truck from a different location which cause me more mileage. Did the mileage include the gas or was that our responsibility to fill the tank. The driver which was a friend of my son returned the truck without me or my son and stated the refund was $5 and of course the receipt shows a refund of $28.1,but this is my 1st time viewing the receipt. Maybe they filled the truck back with gas and deducted that amount from the refund. Thanks for your service and thanks for reviewing my comment. I hope my next experience is better. I guess the issue is not really with the location, but the rep who scheduled the appointment wrong in the beginning which caused the issue and cost me more money due to the mileage and having to go to a location not close to me.

Friendly service, person who attached the trailer to the car took care to double check everything.

Someone left an appliance cart in the trailer which I did not rent or need. I returned it with the trailer and told the check out young man about it. It was fine but thought I would say something about it.

The guys were super friendly and experienced on the drop off zone. Appreciate everything that they did!

Young woman at counter was very helpful and took good care of setting me up. However, I thought Andrew was to have gotten the truck and bring it to main building; however, he sent my brother to the far end of the lot to pick up the truck in cold, very windy weather. The truck was not there, was actually at the opposite end of the lot. Andrew found it amusing; the office staff had been looking for him - he appeared to be out zipping around on a segway type vehicle instead of taking care of customers. Very poor customer service and behavior from Andrew.

The process for renting a trailer is ridiculous. The staff didn't seem to know what to to do or how to find out the answers. The walk through was non comprehensive. The attendant had only been there a couple of days and couldn't answer the simplest questions. The last part where you have to agree to the pictures in order to take the trailer is poor, best word i cam come up with. The pictures were not up to date and were taken in another yard, not the one I picked up in and did not appear current. The experience has led me to not want to rent from Uhaul again. .

To be clear: the environment was clean but NOT inviting; one personnel (manager) was not helpful; and I would NOT recommend this location to a friend for those reasons. To be clear: David and Caleb were excellent. They were courteous, spoke with me, and help me settle up the delivery/account. They knew how to offer customer service. They seemed very aware of their environment and those they worked with, and gave diligence to my being offered great customer service. Finer gentlemen could not be found; perhaps they were working at the wrong site (see further comment). The manager was gruff. He said he would charge a $20 fee for removing the car from the trailer, and said he had no blocks to place under the ramp, so the front-end cowling of my car wouldn't rip off (and the blocks somehow materialized). I worked to unfasten the chains and tire hold-downs (no one had given me instruction on how to do it, just how to put it on the trailer, to limit U-Haul's liability) and I apologized to both David and Caleb for having to work with this manager. Just prior to contact with them, because I was going to deliver the truck and trailer to an office that answered the phone and affirmed they had the blocks I was requesting, (because the recommended facility did NOT answer the phone when I called several times), I received a call from an irate person in Council Bluffs, who challenged me that I needed to have everything handed in by noon, as they had a family moving cross-country - sorry, I just moved cross-country and not everything worked out as planned. She was quick to add that there would be an $80 fee tacked on (I knew that and I was ready to pay without complaint) but she added I needed to get the truck and trailer in ON TIME to the CHOSEN site, and nothing else would be satisfactory! And then I believe she 'blessed me' before I hung up. I had chosen a different site for drop off because I did not receive her e-mail indicating where the drop off would be, I attempted calls at the suggested site (no answer) and I completed a call to the other site (phone answered and queries courteously addressed). Though they were the 'wrong' site, they appeared poised to happily help me and happily address my needs. David indicated he was aware of this individual in Council Bluffs and this is not an unusual exchange. He apologized for his boss. When I met and spoke with Caleb, he was aware of the customer-no-service treatment I received from his superior and the person in Council Bluffs. Were David or Caleb made managers at the store or in Council Bluffs, I would certainly recommend U-Haul to others. Were their boss or the person in Council Bluffs orchestrating this activity again, I would likely go with a competitor's truck rental organization. These two unnamed individuals may have been having a bad day or a bad life, but in customer service, you put the person paying your wages first and leave your mess at the door. Both seemed to have axes to grin
