The main customer service line can be improved. I called to ask why I couldn’t get the truck share after hours option on the app. The customer service person told me to watch the video on YouTube. Why I couldn’t just get the reservation done while on the phone with someone from ‘reservations’ is beyond me. Turns out, I had to use a different phone to complete the rental due to a location sharing restriction. Why have a reservation line when you can’t make a reservation? Why have customer service if they’re just going to tell you to look on a website or watch a YouTube video?

Moving Blankets "rental" vs. "purchase" was misleading - I'd added 6 for $5 to my order in an effort to purchase, only to find out this was simply a rental and thus could not even use them. Disappointing to throw money away...

I have rented from Morton Grove Uhaul many times, with few past complaints, but this most recent rental the truck I was assigned was unacceptable. The side mirror (passenger side) was damaged making it difficult to use - and potentially dangerous. The front bumper was almost completely destroyed. Would have been useless in an accident.

Returning the van I rented took over 45 minutes. Ridiculous. There were only 3 people in front of me. Person taking care of customers got up, said, "I'll be back" and left a line 5 deep in the store for 10 minutes with no other employee to take over checking in customers returning vehicles. We stood there looking at each other in disbelief. after 10 minutes of waiting, I went outside and walked around the building to try and find another employee to help us. The person taking care of customers was in the parking lot. After returning to the counter, the employee indicated he was having problems with the internet. Why could he not continue providing customer service and checking customers back in so they could leave? If a customer can return a vehicle after hours, he should have been able to provide timely customer service and get these people on their way.

My experience overall was pretty poor,though the Morton Grove staff did fix my problem and were very helpful.The problem was that I reserved on- line a 5 x 10 trailer at the Glennview IL location,to be brought back to the Cleveland OK location.My reservation was moved by someone to the Morton Grove location,and the trailer was changed to a 6x12. I was told on the phone by the Glennview office there was no charge for this upgrade,and that the other one was just not available at that time. When I got to the Morton Grove office after driving 700 miles from Cleveland,I was told there was a $200 up charge and that my reservation was only for a trailer to be returned to that location.I guess U-Haul thought I was traveling another 700 miles to come back with the trailer,instead of dropping it off 3 blocks from my house.The manager suggested that I call the main office to fix this.The employee on the phone at the call center was NO help at all and said she couldn't do anything.The Morton Grove location manager then decided to help me out,and changed the reservation back to the way I had originally had it and charged me the original price.He was very friendly and helpful. Also,after trying to contact the Glennview location manager for several days,he finally called back and told me that they don't actually rent trailers at his store.Why the woman answering the phone at that location did not know that is real mystery! The process at the Morton Grove location took over an hour,not because the employees there were unhelpful,but because the on-line reservation system is completely screwed up! I reserved on-line to by pass a long wait,but experienced one anyway because of the system itself! Get it fixed!

I tried to change my reservation with the 800# customer service and got a major run-around. After being on hold for the 3rd time for over 10 minutes - I drove to your store and got it handled. I shouldn't have to have done that.

We had a great experience with uhaul. When we arrived to get our uhaul they did not have our size and gave us a 20ft for the same price as a 15ft. Obviously their prices are unbeatable but they also work with you when issues arise. My husband got caught in an elevator which prevented us from getting to our storage unit in time. We called and had to have the uhaul for an extra day, we ended up getting the whole thing done the same day and returned it late afternoon. They didnt charge us for the extra day, which put a good ending to our heck of a move. Thanks uhaul! Will definitely be returning customers!

The gentleman working there are very professional and cater to every one of your needs. The only thing I would recommend is to have an extra counter person because sometimes you got to wait 15 minutes before you get waited on

The online reservation system was easy to use and I was able yo add all the extras I needed. The staff at the Morton Grove location could not be better. I have purchased packing materials here, had a hitch ball installed on my factory mount and rented the enclosed 6x12 trailer. In each instance the staff have been extremely courteous and professional. I could not be happier with my experience using U-Haul.

They overcharged me by .20 cents per mile they said it’s cheeper at a different location that’s like 4 miles awsy the only problem with that is I booked it online and you location services told me to go to that location.

Breaks need to be worked on, the right-hand door did not shut correctly. The people at the desk ..get 5 stars for good service especially the person who knew this was a charity event ( 15,000 food parcels for the poor) and let us use the two-wheeler in the truck free. Great customer service!!

The U-haul online experience was awful. The representative that was to call the day before never did so I was never "confirmed". Had to wait 22 minutes on hold to get confirmed while I was in the parking lot. Instead of a seamless experience, it was 50 minutes total of lost time and a ton of confusion as to what was wrong.
