Everything went smooth. 1st tried to use phone number and it was a terrible waste of time. Person in call center asked a bunch of irrelevant questions to a long time customer, while I was in a hurry and just wanted to know if a certain trailer was available at my nearest and favorite location. In the end it wasn't but she wasted a bunch of my time. Website was much quicker, made a reservation and picked up trailer within 30 minutes.

Jody SInspect and clean the trucks. On the outside/inside it looked fine, but the morning of my travel (11/26) I noticed the smell of exhaust. Didn’t think anything of it, cars/trucks do that, especially early morning. Maybe an hour into the drive the exhaust smell is back. I’m getting a little bit of a headache, chest feels weird and some nausea, so I roll down the window and keep driving. At our next stop, I notice the weather stripping is not attached on the driver side door. I push it back on and keep driving. Seemed to help but later on the smell is back. I eventually pull over to buy super glue and glue the thing back on. This seemed to help for a bit and I had called customer service to let them know. They asked if I wanted roadside service to come look at it but I told them it’s fine right now and I don’t want a 12 hour drive turning into 14+. Later on the smell is back and so is the headache and nausea and chest issue. I roll the window down and keep driving. We’re over half way to our destination and I just want to get there. About an hour from our destination, the smell is so bad even with one window down, I had to pull over and roll both windows down. We get to our final destination and that night my chest hurt more than it ever did on the drive, to the point I went to the hospital at 11pm and got tested for carbon monoxide poisoning. After three hours, at the hospital they said I was fine. After knowing this, customer service still wanted me to return the truck. On Thanksgiving, I went to get gas in the truck and the smell was so bad the headache came back, chest pain and nausea. I told customer service I will not be driving it back and they need to send a tow truck. They did and the tow truck driver immediately said there is definitely an exhaust leak. I contacted customer service and said I would like a refund. They said the truck needed to be checked back in and inspected. I was told this should take 3 days and the VP and GM of the areas will be notified. I never heard from anyone. I talked to customer service probably 15-20 times and they couldn’t find the truck. I checked the app and the truck bounced around from 3 different places, probably to get fixed and then was at a tire and wheel shop, so those were probably bad as well. Until just recently, on 12/16 I think it was, someone referred me to a scheduling manager at a location no one ever recommended before. At this point I was only talking to customer service and someone finally got me to someone who was able to finally close out the account. Today is 12/17 and I am hoping to have this resolved as they said a supervisor should be reaching out to me.

I was sent to wrong U-Haul to un load and had to drive to another one where I originally thought my haul was but the individual who provided me U-Haul gave me prior address. Once there it was not a drive up storage unit in fact my unit was on the second level. And we had to carry it up the stairs even being on first level would have been better. Next I still have not been contacted in regards to my refund even though facility manger has supposedly been contacting by U-Haul customer service overall the experience was already stressful and the app really no help at all very inconvenient actually and I use apps so I it’s not my lack of technical knowledge but I will say it was clean inside and outside of unit

The staff at the Murrieta-Jefferson U-Haul were always professional and kind. The facility was clean, secure, and easy to load/unload. Initiating and terminating the rental agreement was simple and fast. My only complaint is that U-Haul continued raising the rates higher than the rate of inflation over the four years.

I am on social security and only get paid once a month my due date and payment date were to far apart. I tried for years to get your office to work with me to do anything to change my due date so I wouldn't keep getting charged late fees. They would never even consider any other options. I am disabled and didn't have the ability to physically move the items myself and no help to move the stuff either. I paid hundreds maybe even thousands of extra dollars in extra fees because your company refused to work with a 6 year customer. No customer appreciation whatsoever! Also, the office staff at this location is as absolute joke! The first thing is they NEVER answer the phones or return phone calls. When you email or call the 800 uhaul number and they tell you they will have someone call you. THEY DON'T! If they decide to do random collection calls and you ask for more information or something else they promise to have someone else follow up with you. THEY DON'T! When we were moving out, we were sorting and stacking our items. We left a clear driving path. An employee comes around and tells us to move the items further back so people can pass through. We informed her we had been at it for hours and people have been going through all day with no problem. She had to step aside so a car could come through. She still responds just move it a little further back please in a "tone" and walks off. We were completely done and leaving I was driving the 26 foot truck, trying to safely maneuver it to park so I could go in the office and close out the unit. My husband was on the other side of the truck trying to direct me into a park. An employee was approaching on the far side of the truck telling me to keep going he was getting ready to pull out one of the parked trucks. I'm trying to acknowledged him as well as get my husband's attention to inform him. The employee is continuing to walk and yelling to keep moving he's going to pull out a truck. Very loud and extremely rude. Again I'm in a noisy 26 foot truck, the location is on a loud high traffic street, and my husband is 64 years old and deaf in 1 ear and this guy is being very rude he has to move his truck. Over the years the staff at this location have always been less than friendly! I don't belive that's the uhaul standard. We picked up a truck from Menifee, great experience! Turned it in in Las Vegas, no problems. Can't say the same for your location!

I don't understand why online banking worked fine for 3 years, before I started getting late notices. I was told the checks were not being delivered.
