The staff at the Jefferson and Los Alamos location are rude, immature and unprofessional. I would not recommend that specific facility to anyone. I could go into further detail but I just want to forget the entire experience. I will say the staff at that facility needs some some serious customer service training!
CAVELL B | Overall ExperienceI chose U-Haul because of the brand and I thought it could be trusted and reliable. Instead I’ve dealt with erroneous information, late notice letters, site manager not returning calls, and even a lien notice although my form of payment is on file for autopay. I have many options of storage in the area. Price was not a factor but brand trust was. I can’t wait to move out of this location and would never choose or recommend U-Haul for storage to anyone! When Carolina, the site manager at the location on Jefferson Avenue in Murrieta Ca, finally bothered herself to get on a call with me, she showed no empathy for the mistakes she and her staff have made. I asked her to ensure a letter in writing is mailed that the lien notice was sent in error and my account is up to date. All I got was a billing statement with zero balance. If your system can bother me with erroneous lien notices you can bother yourself with sending me the same written proof it’s an error and is resolved. I hope to get that in writing now that I am wasting more of my time writing this review. Yelp, and google are next and more importantly word of mouth! You lost a great customer. And I really doubt you care since that’s all I’ve gotten since I’ve moved in- lack of concern or reliable & trusted service.

ginah s | Overall ExperienceI was unable to access my storage unit for over three hours after the stated 5am access time. I texted the after hours numbers, there are two listed, and got no reply. I was told by an associate over the phone that the Supervisor for the entire district would be in touch to get me a unit outside after this awful experience. I was told that Supervisor was named Jamie and if Jamie did not get back to me by yesterday, they would this morning. It’s 11am. Uhaul obviously doesn’t care about time or customers. Assistant manager showed up yesterday and said they didn’t have to open the slider until 9am but there was a door. I put my code in in the door too. Asssistant manager said I should have been given a card to use. I never was. Never got a reply from the Manager listed as the contact for after hours because apparently that doesn’t count for Sunday when they are off and don’t have to check the numbers they listed. And Uhaul has no back up contact in place, including that Asssitant Manager who showed up at 8:25am. Awful experience. Still waiting for proper compensation and actual follow up.
