I did not get the name of the customer service representative that helped me when I picked up the rental truck but he was outstanding! I was standing in the parking lot waiting for the mobile check-in option with my cellphone when this gentleman approached me and politely asked if I needed any assistance. I was not familiar with the process and did not know that I had to speak with a representative to complete the rental agreement. This representative saved me time and inconvenience just by taking the time and initiative to inquire if I needed help when he could easily have just passed me by and gone into the store to complete his tasks. I was very impressed with his professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor.MICHAELE C.

Every time I try to patronize my local uhaul, my experience with customer service is unbelievable horrible. The girl that worked with me has no idea what customer service is and has no concern about actually renting equipment. My first encounter with her, my vehicle I was towing, wasn't in her database so she refused to rent the car hauler. I had to leave and use a different location. She couldn't care less and made no effort to find a way forward. My next encounter, she tells me I need two phone numbers. I don't have two phone numbers so she refused to rent to me again. I offered my wife's number and she made it clear she didn't believe me and said she would have to call it to verify. Keep in mind my phone that uhaul texts me on works just fine but okay, so it's 7am and my wife is in bed so she calls her to verify I'm not lying, not an apology or explanation just a I'm bothered her attitude. I arrived at the Murrieta location at 650 am I was waiting at the front door. 7am comes and goes and as I look in the glass door, she has let another customer in the side door and they are being helped, I worked my way to the side door and she made me feel like I was taking up her precious time. All while a district manager was in the store. How can I expect any better service when this is happening under his watchful eyes? Crazy. We are a small town and service like this gets around. Maybe the answer is hire adults and not immature ignorant, and incompetent people. This was the third strike foe me, she has cost me time on several occasions and then now gives me a piece of equipment that's brakes are not functioning. It wasn't noticeable until my sports care was loaded and the trailers surge brakes would slam into my reciever when braking or acceleration. I made a reservation for a one way motorcycle trailer. Upon arrival to the pick up location, I was told motorcycle trailers are local rentals only. Therefore I wound up driving over 600 miles to get my bike home... then was told the trailer MUST BE RETURNED BY 8AM the following day. Please maintenance vehicles properly. Power steering was lousy. The ramp was not inspected until I took the vehicle. At that time is was covered with dirt and rocks. When I asked them to clean it. I was told it would blow off while driving. I might have dropped rocks on the freeway. I had no option since I didn't have a broom. I hope I didn't crack anyone's windows. . For those reason I would rent again but hold them accountable to cleaning inside out out of the vehicles.Brandon F.

The staff of women I spoke and worked with at the Murrieta store were phenomenal. They couldn't have treat me or my needs any better. Your manager David should be fired. He has the bedside manner of a grave digger. If he is make above minimum wage, you're paying him too much. He has NO customer service skills, does NOT know how to help, react, or treat customers. I had an issue going on with one of your boxes with the way it was placed on the slant on my driveway and the U-Box door wouldn't close or lock. David had the IQ of a slug and the ability to help and fix my problem fell back on the women of your Murrieta store. The young woman that checked me in was rude, and appeared inconvenienced by my rental. I had started the check-in online before I left and stopped as it was confusing. When I arrived and she inquired into my rental her first comment was, I cannot help you, you have to go online and cancel the rental and turned away from me. It appeared to me that she was simply not willing to put any effort into the job. When I politely made it clear I was not leaving, she intentionally moved at the slowest pace possible. This lady has no concept of customer service. I have rented at this location many times and have found most of the young people working there gracious and helpful.Anthony G.

Upon order I requested to pick up my truck at a location. When I arrived to pick up my truck, customer service representative said my truck was actually in a different town and that they failed to inform me. When I arrived even my truck was the workers told me I couldn't drop off the vehicle where I had requested to because it wasn't on "their" list. The staff at the Uhaul location were helpful. However I am very dissatisfied with the company reservation policy. I provided my credit card info and move in date when I placed the reservation over the phone with customer service over the phone. They explained that this will reserve my unit that they said was available. When I went to the Uhaul site to check my storage unit and finalize payment for my reservation the unit was not even available! I was told it was just a waiting list not an actual reservation. My rating is not about the people at the facility but rather that U-Haul overbooked the storage facility and our space was not available when we got there. We had helpers hired and were paying them while a resolution was sought. They called the next closest facility but the space wasn’t as large and we couldn’t fit all our items into it. They didn’t have a smaller unit so we had to rent another one elsewhere. We were late to an appointment because of all the extra travel time. Fantastic! This place is absolutely amazing, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility is very convenient. The unloading area is shaded, and the facility itself is air conditioned. Dollies make taking boxes and heavy items to the storage locker a breeze, and the stairs to the second level are minimal. Only issue was access. If there weren't any return rental vehicles blocking the main driveway, access would have been a bit easier to figure out.
