Made arrangements ahead of time to move into a 10 x 15 unit when we got to town. We get there & no 10 x 15 available, even though it was arranged ahead of time. SO NOW I'm forced into accepting 2 10 x 10 units instead. So that meant I had to buy 2 locks instead of one, and I guarantee after the first free month Uhaul will try to change me for 2 units & I WILL lose my mind if that happens. This is frustrating considering the multiple problems I experienced with Uhaul in Michigan before getting to TX and being confronted with the ball being dropped here as well. Why, knowing full well ahead of time what I needed & was promised to get, do I arrive and it's not available. That forces me to except whatever since I had workers hired to unload at that particular facility & a truck that needed to be turned in. And you better believe it will be infuriating if they try to tell me later to move everything out of the 2 10 x 10 units I'm in, into a 10 x 15. I don't need the additional expense of hiring workers to move everything again. So what do you think - will Uhaul do the right thing by me for messing up my reservation and not charge me for the 2 units I've been forced to accept? Or, as I suspect will happen, will I be in for a battle with you? I hope you do the right thing...

COLLIN M.Reservation for truck was made 7 days in advance. We were only moving a refrigerator we had purchased from an individual. We also reserved an appliance dolly to help with pickup of a refrigerator. Upon our arrival we were told no dollies were available and this location hadn't had any dollies for a long time. No apologies offered..just a matter of fact attitude. How the heck did they expect us to move the refrigerator without a dolly? With a 7 day advance notice they should have contacted us to let us know they had no Dollie's. Plus, the 15' truck we rented had 1/8th of tank of gas! The 4 hour rental left us scrambling to find a dolly and get gas before we could head to our destination to pickup the refrigerator. We were on a timeline because the individual took sometime off from work to meet us. We do not recommend this location. Extremely poor customer service!!!

We came back the next day and they didn't have all of the items that we needed, even though it said available on the website. I've used uhaul many times and this was an abhorrent experience.

I truly appreciated everything they did in order to get me situated in a timely matter. I'll tell all my friends who are in the process of moving this is the location they need to go to when going through u-haul

They have a way to turn it in after close. However they changed me $20 to do that. That is dumb. I returned it clean, with gas, on time. But because y'all close at 7 I have to pay a $20 fee? Very dumb if you ask me.

Kyle B.The employee that moved me in was not very knowledgeable and was not able to answer all my questions. I asked about the promotion of a free lock at move in and he charge me for the lock. When I opened the storage unit, there was a lock there. I had to go back to the same employee to get a refund. In both instances he was not friendly and worked at a really slow pace and there was a line of clients waiting. Need to improve his customer service skills.

The uhaul team was awesome with getting it switched to the 24th and having everything ready to go. The whole team there on the 24th was sweet n funny, but the younger military guy (can't remember his name) who checked us out and everything was so amazing and helpful. He gave my husband and I a few good laughs while we waited for the paperwork to print. I highly recommend this location. You won't regret doing business with this staff 😊

Never said where to park it, never would talk to us directly, kept looking at his phone the entire time, threw his wheel scotch 30 feet into a pole where I guess it belongs, threw the trailer into the back cement stop, almost hitting my friend who was with me and trying to help push the trailer backwards to align it into the parking spot. And the last straw, walked off and never said thank you for your business, thank you for renting from my company, have a good day, or even “byeâ€. A complete jerk the entire time. Really a bad look for your company.

Sylbia G.The staffing was friendly yes helpful to a certain point yes I was a female alone trying to move a one bedroom apartment it was so hard to put on the truck and then go back to the storage and unload and reload in to the storage unit and I couldn't ask for help because previously customers messed that up for the one that do need that extra hand but other than that they where sweet and so sorry they couldn't help, you can see it in there face ... Sean thank 😊 for what you could do your customer service was great and I'm glad I picked this location .

Adria T. | First ImpressionsI will say before I got to speak with Tiffany about my storage I had issues being able to get thru to the storage and I would email Diane and she would respond or return a call and would be really hateful when I would go pay my storage..Now with that being said Yesterday 9/1/22 I had the pleasure of speaking with Tiffany the new manager I had lost my job and didn't want to lose my stuff ( have a new job now) and she was amazing she listened and said she didn't want me to lose my stuff either and that as a customer made me feel good .so I was able to pay on my storage and going to be able to pay this month in a couple of weeks took a lot of stress off of me.

This location at Grapevine Hwy (Hwy 26) in N.R.H., TX 76180 has always been my personal go to location for most all of my Rental needs. The Staff is knowledgeable and professional. They make a sincere effort to expedite as promptly as is realistically possible in what can be at times a chaotic environment and even apologize for delays. I know that this review comes across as a padded Review, It isn't and I rarely waste my time on these Type of Review Requests. I haven't completed a Uhaul Review in some time. Occasionally, We need to take a brief moment of our lives to acknowledge the People who ARE doing a Good Job 👍 😉 in order to compensate for ALL the frustrated or negative People whom they encounter in the course of their normal Work 😠. Sometimes that one "Thanks, I see the good Job you're doing and I appreciate your efforts 👌." keeps the beneficial Employee/ Manager so that they are there for You the next time that you need their assistance 😊. Doesn't just apply to this Uhaul... So, this is the part that I try to help and make both My and other Customers Lives better... I fully understand the dynamics involved in the Operations of a Rental/ Storage Operation and why there is a realistic need to add rolling phone coverage for Inbound Calls. However, there are times that Uhaul Corporate Call Center isn't equipped with the Site Specific Knowledge to answer specific customer questions 🤔. Perhaps adding a specified Text Capability on a Corporate to Store and Back, would help overcome this aggravating gap 🙄 in the Customer Interaction Abilities of Customer Phone Calls and the information they are seeking, which is answerable only at a Store Level. I had to call twice to customer service to have the facility personnel to complete my move out and all the while I was being sent notices of late charges. It took three weeks to finally resolve my request when it should have been a couple of days.
