Only thing I can think of would be to have the person hooking you up go through a light check with you before you are allowed to leave.

KENTON BWhen I went online to make a reservation, none of the trailers I needed were available anywhere in in my area, including Fort Worth. I called the N.R.H. location the next morning and found they did have the equipment I needed. In fact when I arrived for pickup, I believe there were about 8 or more units available.

MARGARITA PI don't like the fact that the employees use their personal cell phones to take pictures of customer's driver license. This is extremely dangerous and needs to be corrected immediately. Other than that, the service went well.
DEMARCUS HThank you for possibly letting us leave the trailer at an off site U-haul. As it turned out we were able to get the truck back up and running and were able to get home and drop the trailer at the original location. Thanks again, Jim

MAIRA TI called to extend my rental period from 4 hrs (8A-12P), to 6 hrs (until 2P) and Tina at call center told me that a 2nd rental fee would apply!! When I returned the trailer (2:15P), Christian at the location said he would take that off my contract, as I had the trailer less than 24 hrs. Tina needs better training!

Dean SThe manager Tray was very professional and assisted with my needs, even when the 20’ truck was overbooked. He made it seamless when I was offered a 26’ truck for no extra charge. My only suggestion is that U-Haul.com inventory should match what’s available at the U-Haul locations.

LARRY RThe trailer I received should have been retired and replaced. I did a very long move from Texas to California. I went through severe storm. My belongings got wet. There were boxes and my boxes were all wet. I trusted U-Haul to give me a clean, dependable trailer to protect my belongings and I was given this trailer. The inside looked like it had been glued together with hot glue. The trailer dropped down so low that it hit every bump and I had so much trouble driving it up even leveled ramps
MARIA CEven though I had made a reservation and filled out all my information online including getting an alternative drop off location in Keller, I still had to re-provide a bunch of info that should have been in the reservation made online. The attendant I spoke to couldn't figure out how to get the drop off location indicated by my original online reservation, and changed the drop off location to something like "customer unsure" and told me to call the number on the paper I was given to contact scheduling so they could tell me where to drop the truck. I explicitly asked, since I was planning to drop the truck the same night - would the number pick up since I would be calling after business hours. The attendant told me the phone line was open 24/7. When I called, a robot on the phone told me to call during business hours. I took the truck and trailer to a location in keller and scanned the QR code and wound up finding an alternative number (800) 468-4285, which I called and the person who picked up was completely unhelpful, she told me that none of the keller locations were accepting dropoffs despite my online reservation giving me a discount specifically for dropping off in keller, and told me to call scheduling. I said I tried scheduling and they don't take calls after business hours. Nothing she did ultimately lent to fixing my issue, and she just kept repeating the same "call scheduling they're open during business hours" line. I don't know if she was unequipped or just unwilling to escalate my issue so that I could actually get my problem fixed. Ultimately I took the truck to the location I picked it up, tried the QR code again and all it said for dropoff was to park, secure, and drop the keys in the box, so I did that and called the dropoff location again in the morning to ensure they didn't mess with my order or charge me extra, which they didn't, but this was all in all a very aggravating experience.

ERIKA SThe unit that was rented to me had some problems with the ball/tongue connection. Constant movement and noisy especially when stopping and starting. Did not seem secure but did make safely to our destination from Texas to Colorado.

James FStaff was friendly and efficient. Rented truck EL 1044D (17ft truck) needs maintenance. The passenger-side mirror assembly is broken, mirror wouldn't stay in place. This was a MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE while driving, especially on the highway (completely blind on the right side of the vehicle). The automatic transmission gear transitions were inconsistent while accelerating; for example, the truck would stay in 2nd gear at a far higher RPM than what it should have been, and the only way to get the truck to properly shift was to momentarily let off the accelerator completely. In addition to being a serious safety issue, especially at highway speeds, this also reduced fuel efficiency which burned excess fuel and increased my renter cost. TRUCK EL 1044D SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD UNTIL THESE ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED.

HAROLD BWe have rented from this location several times and have not had any issues. Everyone has been helpful and courteous. The only improvement I have is regarding return of a tow-behind unit. I typically rent the enclosed, double-axle units and they will not stay in position in the return area when unhooking from my truck. I park it next to the return area because the grade is less, and I also chock the wheels. I may be doing it incorrectly, but I don't see a way to lock the trailer wheels before unhooking it from my truck. I'd suggest that you advise customers of this when picking up the unit, or confirm how to lock the trailer wheels, to avoid any roll away incidents. I have no reservations about renting from this location. It is my go-to location when I need a unit in town.

DOUGLAS BRented a vehicle transport trailer hydraulic brakes failed out of town and I was unable to use the trailer, called u haul they sent a service technician to inspect trailer and found leaking hydraulic system and bad trailer wiring. Uhaul was contacted and would not send replacement trailer and I was told to leave trailer there for pick up. I was out 80.00 in fuel cost and 5 hours waiting! did not get to use trailer and had to drive back home to rent again a trailer from U HAUL but did not get full refund of first rental and NO compensation for my fuel loss or time! but if customers do not refuel U HAUL vehicles upon return they are charged double the normal fuel cost! You just lost a great customer, Thankful for social media U haul just lost many customers
JIMMY BAlways the best Uhaul location. I have recommended this location to everyone I hear needs these type services. Andrew, Jaron, and now Ulysses are great agents of this location.
Mark CI have used this location multiple times and am always pleased with the service. The only issue with my last rental, was that there was a hole in the roof of the truck and it was pouring rain, so several of my personal items were ruined. Because I was unaware of the hole and I had the truck loaded full, and then it started raining. It would have been nice to know in advance so I could have protected my things. But nothing was even done about it when I returned the truck.

Andrea HTrailer I reserved did not have a ramp and so I had to get up charged to another model. That model had a wavy floor that made it difficult to roll items onto it. Location was good, but product is the issue.

STEVEN GI had a good experience and they opened the doors a few minutes early to get customers in who were waiting outside. I was in and out with my trailer hooked up in 15 minutes.
