DARCY RThe parking lot was very full and very busy. It was difficult to get the rented vehicle into the parking lot for drop off. The UHaul employees were helpful but not enthusiastic about their jobs it seemed.

ROBERT LI have rented 20 or 30 times from this location. The service keeps getting worse and now they have resorted to outright fraud and deception. Yesterday I got a truck that was defective with the engine light on. I had to return the truck and switch it out which wasted 2 hours of my time. I got another truck which was not clean at the back. We use the truck and returned it. Nevil insisted we have to wash the back when we had obviously swept the truck or he would charge us $45 cleaning. I objected because they did not give us the truck in clean condition to begin with and showed him photos at pick up time but he doesn't have time to listen and insisted. I asked if we can use some water from their location and he told us there is no water in this location. This is an obvious lie. So we have to drive away and find a place that allowed us to use their water hose. We washed the back of the truck and returned 15 minutes later. Then he claimed that we had returned the gas below the level that he gave to us. I have pictures that will prove this man is 100% deceptive. So he added $10.50 for gas without any reason whatsoever. I told him that I will complain to U-Haul and I will leave a negative feedback on Google and I will do a chargeback on my credit card. He told me to go right ahead. He asked whether I wanted my receipt and I said yes please. So he went to the office and I was waiting for him in the office and he disappeared. After 20 minutes of waiting I walked out and found him in the storage area and I asked where is my receipt? He told me to go back to the office and line up to get my invoice. This man obviously has no idea how to keep a repeat customer from getting angry. In fact I truly believe he intentionally wants to anger the customers.

DAVID NI accidentally locked myself out of my car and walked back to the U-Haul office to ask for an extra key. Hiran, who was in charge at the time, searched but unfortunately there was no spare key available for that vehicle. Since my cellphone and all my documents were also locked inside, Hiran kindly took the time to find and contact a towing company to come and help unlock the car. I’m very grateful for his assistance and professionalism. At the same time, I think it would be helpful for U-Haul to have a system or solution in place to assist customers in situations like this — perhaps by keeping a spare key or providing an emergency contact service.

THOMAS TI always buy my propane at this U-Haul. I drive a pick up truck, so I don't usually need to rent a van/truck to help friends move. It was pouring rain on moving day so I ordered a cargo van the night before. Customer service is top notch at this location, even in the pouring rain. Not once did i experience less than positive attitudes from anyone working that very rainy Friday

Louise EFix your app on iPhone. Tried to do pickup by app before location opening. It would not get past driver's license scan despite telling me that the scan was successful. Only when the location opened, did a helpful employee advise me to use the .com website rather than the app. Website allowed me to check in immediately.
Neil CI was missing the blankets i ordered and charged for them when I returned the trailer. I did call it in right after I picked the trailer up and reported them missing. Other than that everything was great
BRENT MCharged an extra day when trailer was returned an hour late on a two day rental, after I called and was assured this wouldn't be charged since nobody had it booked. Bad business practices, very deceitful.

DANA DThe only gripe was the overly strong perfume , that was the only topic in thought as I tried to focus and get to my destination. I'm not a overly sensitive person I work as Carpenter in high end home building so I know undesirable smells dust and the toxicity in my environment. Thank you for your time, Truck was awesome and clean and pleasure to drive , just to much perfume. Cheers

MANINDER DMy move was from Abbotsford to Squamish and I only got 82km with my rental. It was 70km alone to return the U-Haul to the location chosen for me. U-Haul really needs to add more km’s for people who have to return uhauls to locations out of the city they moved too. Because being charged extra for things I can’t control is crazy…

The new doors look flimsy and the installer broke the door jam. My concerns about the security of my locker were brushed off by the employees. Security was horrible, day one my scan card didn’t work and I was told not to use anymore, just go inside without checking in.

I was told on my second visit not to worry about the security code and just walk up the stairs . This gives me worries about how secure my belongings are going to be in this facility.
Dana T | Online Move InWhen it comes to the actual check in for the storage unit, everything was fine. But the problem was that I also rented the uhaul van because I was moving. I was informed the morning of my move that the van is no longer available. They switched me to the pickup truck. I called uhaul and said that I can't use the pickup truck, as it's too small for some of my furniture and it was going to pour rain all afternoon. I canceled the pickup truck (and the rest of my day was a nightmare as I scrambled to find ways to move my things) and asked for the $50 I get if my rented vehicle isn't available. The woman on the phone said that I couldn't get the $50 because they're offering me the pickup. She was argumentative and dismissive. She eventually agreed that I should get the $50 but she was rude. If you look at my file, she's the one that canceled my rental of the pickup truck. I recommend you listen to that tape.

There's ALWAYS a truck close to the storage where the staff is unloading stuff from it. Also on a side note, I once called this location from home. I was on hold for 20 minutes so I decided to drive up to the location... 15 mins later I get there, and I'm still on hold on the phone. There were no one in the office but the front desk person... he had the phone up so it doesn't ring... I'm like why don't u answer the phone... I've been on hold for like 35 mins. He's like this thing rings too much... I need a break from it... unbelievable how rude he was. I tell you, this is one of the worst managed uhaul locations U can ignore this, or do something about it. Go undercover if u have too... the level of crap your customers have to put up with in this location is unreal. Unprofessional. Do u want them carrying the uhaul name with such disrespect? How much do u respect and value ur company?

Firstly, the Uhaul Manager requests me to pay a $710.11 towing fee that I never order, and I never observe the towing service. It was extortion. The towing fee bill the not bill to Uhaul or a bill to myself. It was billed to a non-related third party, except has the truck that I rented's information. Many people rent that truck from time to time. I never request a towing service or observe a towing service. A towing service during the rental period also covered under the insurance contract as well. Uhaul has its own towing service under the contract if towing required. The Uhaul store manager said he paid the towing fee to a third party, so he needed to be charged to my account. It is unreasonable. I suggest the manager. I am afraid a third party was playing the game behind the scene for the sole purpose of financial gain. The RCMP and related organizations needs to investigate this type of Economic crime that takes advantage of the business and innocent people for the sole purpose of organized crime's financial gain.

Immediately, I had a rental van and a locker. The person behind the desk walked me to the locker, insured I knew how to enter with the cardlock..the guys helped me understand the working of the van..I really appreciate all the support and kindness ..super people work here.

Marlyn B | Overall ExperienceI moved out because there was mouse poop all over my unit and stuff with absolutely no food or traces of food anywhere in my unit. It didn’t get into any of my stuff after inspection, but poop was everywhere. I spoke with the manager and he didn’t really have anything to say about it, very much a “what do you want me to do about it” mentality. I asked for help cleaning it up as I didn’t have proper cleaning supplies and mouse poop is really dangerous for women to clean without proper protection, and the person he sent just wiped it off with a rag onto other stuff in my unit. One blanket needed to be thrown out because it was coated too much for me to feel comfortable to get it home to wash it. One lady, who was wonderful, apologized several times for it, but the manager didn’t seem bothered. I moved my stuff out the next day because I had some very expensive books, furniture and linens that I cannot risk vermin ruining. The manager telling me that he’ll clean the floors with peppermint oil more frequently to keep them away wasn’t comforting and clearly not working.

Rental staff could not find my reservation so created a new one, leaving my existing one open. Rental agent seemed poorly trained and not helpful.
Victor L | Overall ExperienceI had a storage space at this location for about five years. In that time my monthly rent rose by more than 20%, which seems rather steep. My biggest issue is getting access onsite with a vehicle. Beings as it is a truck rental location the lot is very congested and it became highly inconvenient to gain access to the storage entry. The people onsite are very friendly but the experience became too much of a hassle to take things in and out, which I have to do from time to time. Just my experience.
