Very easy - booked online in the morning. Picked up the truck in the afternoon. Drop off was very busy, but one of the staff told me to park to the side and took care of me right away. Couldn't have been a better experience!

The gas tank was left at 1/4 full. Estimating a +150km trio, this meant I had to add gas and estimate how much I was going to use before setting off. I ended up bring it back with a fair bit more fuel than 1/4, and was told I wouldn’t be credited with the extra. I found it pretty scummy to release a truck with so little gas, then pocketing the extra.

This was my first time using U-Haul and the online pick-up is a pain. I should've just gone into the store. Also, there was no instruction given in the online process where to get a dolly or furniture pads which I had ordered. I had to walk around to find someone to ask, and when I finally found someone and they pointed out where they were, he told me just to grab them. I feel like I could've just walked off with them without paying for them. Seemed a bit odd. Overall, the truck was fine and the return process was fine, but the staff didn't seem overly helpful.

I started to utilize the self check out service from my smart phone at the time of pick up but partially through completing the information I was told that I could not book the truck that website booked because someone already had it booked from inside so I had to go inside to complete my booking.

The process in place to simply return a (already paid for) carpet cleaner was so poor I think I would have rather basked in the sweet smell of dog shit all over my carpet than rent a carpet cleaner at this location. I know tech issues can pop up and cause latency but seriously...come on. Waiting over an hour to return a carpet cleaner. When I finally was helped it took all of 30 seconds to finalize the return and send me on my way. This is just ridiculous customer service and comically bad logistics. If you have a massive queue building because your system is failing to assist customers in renting a truck I suggest some problem solving and time management skills to clear out the otherwise effortless transactions such as returning a damn carpet cleaner. It’s also pretty evident that problem solving skills may not be a desired trait when hiring staff so I would also suggest allocating a bit more weight to that next time around.

I found it completely disconcerting that part of the initial sign in for renting a vehicle included taking a picture of both sides of my driver's license. It appeared as though the UHaul employee is taking these photos on their personal phone. This seems like a great way for identity theft and I really question why this would be required when renting a vehicle. I don't dispute the need to collect this information, but capturing both sides with a photo on a personal cell phone feels suspicious and highly unsecure.

I have nothing to compare this location too. The check-in/pick-up procedure was very disorganized and the mobile app has glitches preventing it from properly functioning. The check-out/drop-off was flawless and simple.
