I hate that I always get trucks that have just over 1/4 tank of gas. I have to fill up to just start a longer trip, and if I am doing a short trip and don't fill up I am constantly getting screwed over by your new policy that there is a $30 fee ontop of the gas fee if the tank is less than 1/4. Of course it's less than 1/4 cause it was barely above that when I picked it up. I rent from this location 8-10 times / yr for business and this ALWAYS seems to be the case. If there was an alternative in the area I would never rent from here again

I received the vehicle with only 1/8 tank of fuel. I was apparently supposed to return it with 1/4 tank. I didn't understand that and put in $20 of fuel to bring it back to more than was in the tank when I took it. For this I was charged a surcharge of $37 so in effect I paid $57 to drive a total of 15 miles. NOT HAPPY! R.B.

I had made reservations before throug a different u-haul and told them to save it to my file and they didn’t. Was told this location had chains for tire(needed for winter months), that wasn’t the case!! Too much armour all on windshield and when driving at night all I seen was glare, very dangerous for night driving. Also upon dropping it off at the agreed location was hit with a 25$ cleaning fee!! Like seriously,it’s winter and why should I have to clean down the truck that’s not even dirty ?? It’s not like it’s a small car that I can just bring it to the car wash! I’m very disappointed in the service!!

The truck’s turn indicator didn’t turn off after the turn and the other indicator wouldn’t stay on. The gear shift was almost impossible to put the truck in park band there was water up in the attic (leak? Or condensation? ) not sure but it damaged 4 pictures. The lock on the back of the truck did not work so when I dropped off the truck I couldn’t lock the back roll door.

Upon returning the cargo van I followed some signage to your lot as I headed north on Harbour ave. As I made the right turn, I made eye contact with one of the employees. She watched as I turned off of the busy street and only then did she redirect me to turn into the other entrance. Having to reverse onto the busy street was risky. She then watched as I was about to park on your lot somewhere I shouldn't have, and only then did she redirect me to make an awkward turn into the equipment return area. I suggest teaching your staff to proactively direct your customers to the proper locations upon arrival and maybe setting up clearer signage to direct them. I know it's a great way to make some sweet returns on free gas, but if there were clearer instructions on how to make sure your customers don't fill up your tank for you, when they might not be aware that you don't pay them back for it. Sweet business tactics, but bad form.

The customer service was terrible. Actually it was one man in particular. I didn't get his name but he was an older, slim gentlemen that worked the morning shift at 9 am on Feb. 2nd. He was rude, pushy, and aggressive. When I questioned the total of the bill, he kept pushing me to just hit "accept" on the debit machine. I told him that the bill wasn't right and I did not want to be rushed because we needed to figure it out. He kept pushing and told me that the total was right and just to pay already. As I went through each item on the bill (ex. mileage, etc), he just kept saying "that's the price." As I continued to question the bill, a femal coworker stepped in and asked what was the problem. This man told that "THIS customer is disputing the bill." Anyway, this woman assisted him and I ended getting a refund for the extra day that was charged to me. (I brought the vehicle in at 9:08 am instead of 9:00 am). This man's overly aggressive and impatient manner has completely turned me off from this U-Haul location, although the other staff I had contact with were good. I won't be back :(

The van had a strong odour of manure or livestock that did not go away. Yet, I was charged $25 penalty as I supposedly returned it unclean. There may have been a few tiny shreds of cardboard but that is all. Nevertheless, I paid it.

Fill the trucks with fuel you lazy asses. Mine had 7 miles til empty when I picked it up. And switch things to kilometers for crying out loud. This is Canada and i highly doubt theres so many international moves to warrent everything being done in miles.

Ensure that the equipment is in working order as lights did not work on trailer when we first hooked up, a quick fix, but still should have worked. As well when going to pay the seemingly very high cost to rent the trailer, it would have been nice had one of the machines been able to actually make use of my debit card. A half hour of updating the machine so that I could pay seemed a little excessive to me. The people we're friendly enough. Thanks
