Locations need better tools and training of employees. Trailer had a nail in tire. Employees were not skilled in changing tire and I had to give advice with insufficient jacks. You have heavy equipment so you should have large enough jacks at locations for everyones safety. They got it done without injury and should be commended for that.Christopher A.

Right rear tire had an issue. Would not take air when the Waring. Light came on I paid 2>00 at a service station to air it up but did not help. I then took it back to U-Haul and was told by the attendant that he was off duty and could not help me. I was going to have the rental for another day but after that I took it back as soon as I could.Eric W.

Seatbelt for passengers were not available Have your staff look presentable - Staff looked sloppy and their clothes look like they were out playing basketball, hair was unclimbed. Also, when we went to return the truck, after waiting several minutes, we had to go inside in order for them to check us out, where the employees were sitting around on their phones not paying attention. When I tried reserving the van I was charged almost $50 on my debit card but when I got there I was told they needed a credit card. I had to reach out to my father and he showed up and paid with his personal credit card. Basically I was double charged and was told to call a 1800 number because they can't do the refund. The issue is that the people at the 1800 don't know me and further more I can't prove that it was the same van. We could have very well both rented vans.Michael R.

The girl behind the counter was new, I am assuming. And while that is not a problem, when we when to rent an auto transport, she automatically included the Safe-tow (without verifying first which we would like), then didn't ask us about having someone help us load our vehicle. When we inquired about it, she said it was too late, she already finished ringing us up. She called her boss, and he said because we â€œdidn't payâ€ for that service, they could only tell us what to do, but they couldn't touch the AT. Ok, fine. So the girl comes out and tells another kid to tell us the procedure, but don't do it for them because we â€œdidn't pay.â€ So we get the AT in position and the loading car in position, and the kid just disappeared! Fortunately we figured it out, but when you're expecting assistance and you get none, it's frustrating and unprofessional!Danielle H.

The manager is trash, uhaul as a company is trash. 3 people walked out cussing out the employees. Next thing I know I'm just as pissed as them. The overall price seemed sketchy, Instead of disputing it I just asked for a invoice of what I was being charged for and they REFUSED to provide an invoice. I instructed them not to charge the card on file because I would call customer service to get my invoice and gladly pay if everything looked right. As soon as I got to my car I got a notification that my card was charged. I called customer service and they were a joke. They also refused to provide an invoice. As a military family that's constantly moving and using uhaul, this was my last time I will ever use them. Save the headache, use another company. Also the manager did not apply any of the previously promised discounts or promised free month and raised the price at the last minute. The facility was staffed by an autistic worker who was left unsupervised to manage the entire facility by himself. This was very unfair to both the worker and the customers he had to deal with. If was clear that this worker was handicapped and unable to perform the job even with reasonable accommodations. Great staff, top to bottom. The teamwork is evident. The only thing I can give constructive criticism on is a couple facility items: 1-My two units were in the back corner. Debris and trash always seemed to be there, but not really anywhere else. 2-The locking holes didn’t line up, particularly on 141, making it difficult to lock/unlock. The facility did not adhere to the agreed-upon monthly rate in the reservation. It appears that the general manager can change these on a whim which I think is unfair and deceptive. Also I was promised a free month because I’m also renting a U-Haul truck. Again I was told that the general manager will not allow this even though it was promised to me by corporate. The staff was great as I was completing my reservation right around the closing time and they still helped me out. I’m a little disappointed with my unit Because the dimensions of the door Do not match the dimensions of the unit listed online. It would’ve been useful to know that the door is only the size of a regular house door, not what you expect from a Storage facility. I do recognize that it did j say “swing door” when I was making the reservation, but it was unclear what that meant and I honestly don’t know if I want to keep my unit if it’s gonna be such a pain to fit stuff through a little door, which at best it will be slightly inconvenient and at worst I could be moving a heavy appliance trying to fit through the door and get quite angry. I had never moved from city to city and Stephanie made the madness of moving very helpful. Even though I wasn't quite sure what size unit I needed she was more than helpful getting me 2 unit. In the End I only needed one and she still helped me even though I was that lost crazy customer from a different city. The Staff made me feel a whole lot better they even recommended a good place to eat and places to look for housing they definitely went above and beyond for Me and My Family. My unit was #3009, when I got it it hadn’t rained and moved out n. Couple of days later I returned to unit and it had rained and there was mud and water at the entrance door of unit. It was messy trying to step over the mud and water and I also slipped on the mud. I noticed that the gutter above unit door had been damaged and water was coming thru the damaged parts. This was in April when Irented the unit. I expressed my concerns with the front office numerous times and was told it was going to get fixed and mud swept away but it never was swept or gutter repaired. The reason I picked 2 stars is because I was duped into this facility. I rented a UHaul to move across the country. With the rental, 30 free days came with it. I reserved a 7x20 for $129 a month after the first 30 days. I showed up and there were none this size available in a 30 mile radius. I was given a 10x10 for $134 a month. I ended up just going to a different company to store my stuff cause UHaul did the old “bate and switch” and the facility didn’t meet my needs at all.
