Web site for return was difficult to connect to for me. I was there for 30 minutes after arriving trying to get through the process due to connection problems. I would get into system and it would time out due to the connection running slow and I woul have to start over. Would be nice if the store had wi-Fi access. To help with connecting. It may had to do with the bar next door and the foot ball game being on. But I finally gave up and dropped the key and left.STEVEN B.

I would recommend it only if they understand their pre paid equipment and not try to charge extra fees. And or understand their own process of contracts and receipts. When I went to pick up the tow dolly I had already paid for the service clerk argued with me that I had to pay $300.00 to rent the tow dolly. When it only cost $159.00 , that I had already paid for. Very rude clerk. Till I showed him that it said pre paid on my contract. He did the paper work and made smart comments as I was leaving. Which were very unprofessional.SHARON G.

Going through the rental process, I was not made aware online or in person that there was a $20 after hours fee for dropping off with mobile.ARI R.

The staff was great as I was completing my reservation right around the closing time and they still helped me out. I’m a little disappointed with my unit Because the dimensions of the door Do not match the dimensions of the unit listed online. It would’ve been useful to know that the door is only the size of a regular house door, not what you expect from a Storage facility. I do recognize that it did j say “swing door” when I was making the reservation, but it was unclear what that meant and I honestly don’t know if I want to keep my unit if it’s gonna be such a pain to fit stuff through a little door, which at best it will be slightly inconvenient and at worst I could be moving a heavy appliance trying to fit through the door and get quite angry. Booked a reservation for a truck 2 weeks ahead, noticed it didn't take the info I put for different drop off location. Had the return as the same area for pick up. So I called up the store number and spoke to someone. Asked can I get assistance on changing the return location because I have a bit of a drive and I would prefer to return the truck to a location that would be closer to where we are headed. The guy asked me some validation questions and then found my reservation tried to assist on changing it but then told me he couldn't change it but not to worry once I go pick up the truck on the day of my reservation the agents at the store should be able to assist on making the change. I of course asked again and he assured me they would be able to assist on making the change to the contract. I go in the day of my reservation ask about needing the return location for the truck to be changed and the agent tells me that they are unable to make the change because their equipment needs to be returned to their location. So I explain that I spoke with a representative and they assured me that we could get it changed once I go in and store pick up my reservation. The 2nd agent overhears the conversation and asks did you call the store number? I tell them yes, and she proceeds to tell me well you probably spoke with customer service and not one of the instore reps, because we can't change the return location for our equipment. Ok but me the customer how would I know off the bat if I'm talking to an inshore rep or someone from customer service? And how come all the agents under the UHaul corporation don't have these policies to understand are in sync of what they can do for their equipment for certain store locations. Had I been informed about this issue 2 weeks prior I could've rented a truck where I do a one way trip and not be inconvenienced have to return the truck back at the start because now one im charged for each mile, and I have to fill up the gas for double what I expected to use due to the round trip instead of a one way trip. So after trying to explain my situation to the agents which by the way none of them seemed like they were listening or even gave a damn about what I said. I unfortunately had to of course accept the reservation because I had to move out my stuff before my move out date. So after that experience I won't be doing business with Uhaul ever again, and I would never recommend the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Naco-Perrin on Nacogdoches to anyone ever the agents don't give a care about their customers. Save yourself the hassle and go to Penske or another moving truck company that will actually work with you and your situations.NICHOLAS M.

The boy with the long hair was not informative and actually tried to argue with me. Horrible experience. I called the 800 number the next day and asked for the manager to call me to discuss and NEVER got a phone call. I should have taken the advice of all the reviews online and not rented from this location. Very disappointed. The people at this location are super rude. The place wasnt open at the time listed and there were no dollies available. I also had to pay the 25 dollar fee for the person to check in my uhaul even though I was doing it myself and the person approached my truck to help. Try another location.SIERRA V.

This was a very convenient location for pickup but I had to drop-off a few miles away at a different location. So it would be good to have the receipt ready at drop-off location so I can be reimbursed by my employer.JEREMIAH N.

Have staff care about the customer. Horrible experience with UHaul on San Pedro & Basse. Was sent to another location and the negative experience was compounded by the lack of empathy and interest from staff at Nacadoches location. This is now twice with in the past 6 months where I have been treated more like a nuisance than a valued customer. I hate U-Haul and will not recommend.EFREN G.

Making sure the trailers are properly hooked up to the truck. I had rented a. Trailer and as I was going down the highway and hit a bump the trailer came off the hitch and almost slammed into other cars next to us. Thankfully the chains where properly hooked up and keeped the trailer from doing damage. It did break my tv and damaged my hitchGERARDO G.

I would not recommend the pick up location. I was tight on time and could not wait for another vehicle. The vehicle I received was filthy inside the cabin and smelled like pets. I had to drive 300 miles with the windows partially open because I have allergies to pet dandruff. I had to stop and take allergy medicine just so I could drive. upon check in i was being help by a lady which was very nice an then a gentlemen took over and very bad customer service he was not friendly and when i ask a question regarding quote given online and when he told me it was a higher price i asked a questions and very short. Made me feel that i needed his service and your company not needing me as a costumer. even with me bringing the vehicle back he took the keys and told me he would email me receipt it seem that customers were bothering him. I had never moved from city to city and Stephanie made the madness of moving very helpful. Even though I wasn't quite sure what size unit I needed she was more than helpful getting me 2 unit. In the End I only needed one and she still helped me even though I was that lost crazy customer from a different city. The Staff made me feel a whole lot better they even recommended a good place to eat and places to look for housing they definitely went above and beyond for Me and My Family. The store rented a restricted (local) for one-way trip of 334 miles. The 26' had low antifreeze and when reported they gave me 2 gallon jugs of diluted antifreeze, refused to rent me an unrestricted truck claiming it was their only one-way truck. At time there were 5 26' trucks in yard. The alignment was off and a challenge at 55 mph.JOHN P.
My unit was #3009, when I got it it hadn’t rained and moved out n. Couple of days later I returned to unit and it had rained and there was mud and water at the entrance door of unit. It was messy trying to step over the mud and water and I also slipped on the mud. I noticed that the gutter above unit door had been damaged and water was coming thru the damaged parts. This was in April when Irented the unit. I expressed my concerns with the front office numerous times and was told it was going to get fixed and mud swept away but it never was swept or gutter repaired. The reason I picked 2 stars is because I was duped into this facility. I rented a UHaul to move across the country. With the rental, 30 free days came with it. I reserved a 7x20 for $129 a month after the first 30 days. I showed up and there were none this size available in a 30 mile radius. I was given a 10x10 for $134 a month. I ended up just going to a different company to store my stuff cause UHaul did the old “bate and switch” and the facility didn’t meet my needs at all. I don’t blame the workers at the site, this was not their fault. It should have been taken care of by the person who set it all up for me.michael a. | First Impressions

I've rented trucks and trailers before, and I will continue to, but I will not store anything in the future. The staff was helpful when we moved stuff in, but at the end, they were not helpful at all, and were extremely shady with the closeout process. We were trying to get out by March 14th, but did not get it done in time, so my stepson paid for another month on March15th. The staff at the location was in such a hurry to get us out, that they closed the account and deleted the information just after my stepson made the payment for March 15th to April 14th. I could access my U-Haul account online, but the storage unit history was gone. Fortunately, I keep copies of my online receipts and corrected the staff when they stated that we were only paid through March 14th. Once I pointed out their error, they said we had until April 14th to get the lock off and turn in the access card. I guess they forgot that, and since we had been deleted from the system, they messed up. I found out later that my stepson took off from work to go over and close out the storage unit well before April 14th, but when he got there, the card had been deactivated, and his lock had been cut off of the unit. I have no idea when they did that. I guess getting our rent money, plus possibly getting a partial month from a new customer during the same month for the same unit is a good way to make money, but it is a horrible way to treat your customers, it's shady, and it's wrong. My stepson had paid for the last month, and he didn't tell me until now because he didn't want to make an issue of the situation, but I'm taking the time during this review to make the statement. I came from California and didn't know the area I was moving to. I asked UHaul to find me a Storage facility as close tothe town of Boerne, TX as possible. Instead they put me an hour and a half away - in San Antonio and heavy traffic. I ended up not being able to access my storage unit for a year and a half. Now that I emptied the unit and returned the truck in my new town of Fredericksburg, I find out that there was a UHaul Rep 2 miles from my house!!!! I am so angry with UHaul Headquarters! I paid a LOT more to be a LOT more inconvenienced! WHY?! Because UHaul wanted to keep my account instead of allowing me to use an affiliate location!!!!! That was WRONG! I am the President of a Relief Org and they KNEW IT and still took advantage of me! I believe I deserve some. kind of refund or consolation for all the trouble I went through! On the storage unit that we were given the holes on the door didn't align and I was told I had to buy a particular lock even though I already had my own UHaul heavy duty lock. When I went to the back to put my items in the unit we waited for over 30 minutes for someone to come and open the unit. Then after loading my things in when we tried to use the lock that I was forced to buy I had to use my own lock anyway because of the lock holes did not align. Then the person that sold me the lock didn't want to take it back and refund my money and she finally admitted she couldn't do a refund. I had to wait 2 hours to see the person who was able to do the refund, and she suggested that she could give me another unit. Really like I would go back take everything out get the truck again and move to another unit. I hope that it will be better when I remove my things.joann e. | First Impressions
