My husband and his friend had gone to drop off the U-Haul and were treated in the most unprofessional manor. When they first arrived to drop it off they parked unsure if it was the right spot and ventured inside the facility. The gentleman working that day had zero customers that needed his help (because the only other couple that happened to be there, were already being assisted by the other employee) when my husband walked into the building to turn in the keys. He was waiting to be called up to the counter when the employee looked at him dead in the face and proceeded to ignore my husband. My husband finally went up, a few minutes later, to him and said hey man I am here to turn in my U-Haul. The employee looked at my husband again and said "oh I didn't see you there.' Absolutely not, this was laziness at all levels, extremely rude, and he did not emote customer service. After that, my husband had handed the employee the keys and proceeded to say I may have accidentally parked in the wrong spot to return it, but I am not sure. Again, with the worst service ever, the employee stared at my spouse, stuck out his arm with the keys, and didn't say a thing. Not "oh not a problem I'd be happy to show you where to park the vehicle." Nothing. So my husband took the keys, got back in the truck, and found where to properly drive and park the U-Haul. Once putting the vehicle in park my husband noticed that there was a sign stating remain in the parked U-Haul and someone will be out shortly to assist you. Again, my husband and his friend were the only customers there. 15-20 minutes go by the employee never comes out. So my spouse asked his friend to run inside and ask if the guy could come out to help them because the sign clearly states that an employee would come out to the U-Haul. His friend walks inside and asks the employee to help and maybe two minutes later they both walk out. The friend is walking ahead of the employee and my spouse can tell that his friend is visibly and clearly upset. My husband jumps out of the truck to hand the keys back to the employee and as soon as he rounds the truck, before being able to hand over the keys, the employee says "man ya'll are making this way harder then it needs to be.' Why on earth would he think that is the right thing to say when he has not been the slightest bit of help. At this point my husband is now getting frustrated with the employee, he had been calm with everything prior. My husband proceeded to ask the employee if he could know the total amount that we owed and which card it was going to charge, so that him and I would know where to move the funds too so that the charge would process smoothly. The employee literally said oh you'll get it in an email. What! that is not what he asked. This lazy, lazy employee could not walk inside to help find the information for my husband. There is no way that the employee would not have been able to do that, no way. And this employee was also smirking at both my husband and his friend, smirking because he could see how frustrated both of them were getting. My spouse, being beyond mad, tossed the keys to him and simply left. Moving is always stressful. Adding this employee's behavior into the mix does not help or make anything smooth or pleasant. Above ya'll ask Was the location clean and inviting? This question is probably geared more to the physical aspect of the store. However I am answering this question in regards to the employee himself. His customer service was not clean. And his attitude and demeanor was not inviting.

I was scheduled to pick up a trailer at 5:00 p.m. I came early at 3:30 p.m. just in case it was ready. I was told at that time that the trailer had not been returned by the previous lessee and that he/she was extending their lease for the weekend. At no time was I notified of this change by email or phone. I would've ended up showing up at 5:00 with no trailer available and less than an hour before closing with no options. This was so disrespectful and I had to push for the service team to find me another trailer at a different location. They found one and sent me to an independent dealer's house in a sketchy neighborhood in 105 degree heat. They never apologized for the inconvenience and the lack of communication. It was a stressful experience and I was afraid as a small 5"2 woman to be sent to a sketchy neighborhood where the trailer was out in the field with weeds. We were renting a trailer as a business and to haul our camp supplies to a youth camp in Northern California. Super disappointed and will be no longer using UHaul as our provider every year.

Not enough small open trailers in stock. Had to use the largest you have which was way bigger than I needed. Even so, the price was great and i I got to return it after closing hour by using the UHaul app.

The location was good and convenient. U-Haul's 24 hour rental policy is poor and left me very dissatisfied. I wanted a 2 day rental on a trailer and to start early on Sunday. The yard was not open until 9 am (not early at all to me and many folks), so I picked it up near the end of the U-Haul work day, at a little after 6 pm to ensure I was able to start early Sunday. I returned the trailer at about 915 pm on Monday, and could have returned it as early as 8 pm. I ended up getting less than 2 days of actual use and paying for 3 days of rental. Others, such as Home Depot on tool rental (and UHaul in the past) have better policies than this. This negatively impacted my experience and cost me extar $ on my rental.

I pulled out with the gas gauge at 1/4 of a tank. I didn't drive more than two blocks, and it immediately went down. I should not have to make my first stop a gas station. Sending out equipment with less than a half a tank of gas is not cool.

Was given the wrong truck and told the drop off was 4 hours away. This was a mistake done by the pickup location who drove the uhaul out of the parking lot and handed me the keys. Then charged $105 dollar penalty. This was EVEN THOUGH THE RENTAL AGREEMENT confirmed the drop off location. Absolutely ridiculous

My overall experience with all the people I had to deal with, in person and on the phone for the variety of issues and changes that popped up was a 9/10. The process overall was a 10/10. There are certain things that happen along the way that are seemingly out of everyone’s control. When that happened, your staff and employees performed flawlessly and with excellence. The only issue I had was with a guy named “Robert” at the Murfreesboro location but that is a different story.

I just received the rental receipt for a rental I had used on April 27th. I returned the rental on April 27th, but after 5:00pm. It is June 25th now. I was charged for 3 days when I should have only been charged for two. On 5/27 I received a message stating that I had not returned the rental and that it was going to be reported as stolen. I tried to contact this branch but was unable to. Instead I talked to an individual on the phone who also tried to contact them but failed.

Understaffed, access card reader system is confusing even to employees. Short on push carts and to small . Had to wait 20 minutes for available card. Will not consider UHS in its current footprint unless it is the only option for climate control. Thank you for the complimentary month of storage. Oh, my U H mover help experience could be more embarrassing to UH. Can’t believe UH is putting its name on this!

Overall, we had a positive experience during our stay. We checked out of room #1390 on April 6 and promptly uploaded the checkout confirmation through the app, as instructed. However, to our surprise, we were later charged for the month of May as if we were still occupying the room. We hope this is just a misunderstanding and kindly ask the management to review the records. Please ensure proper tracking of guest checkouts to avoid such issues in the future.

The truck that we rented was old and had tape in pre-existing damage. Not to mention that the gas tank was well below E and the gas light was on so our first stop was the gas station which took away from some of the miles that we were allotted. It’s my belief that the fuel was depleted well into the reserve tank because after putting in $60 it barely took us over a quarter of a tank.

Only problem was a technical glitch in their system kept all doors locked out during professional move out. The down time while they fixed it cost me $120 labor. Gotta have better back up system. The staff were great at this location though!

Well I rented a trailer and i ended up in jail they said I returned it and stole it back which is physically impossible I have home video with the trailer and me home all night as well as phone conversations the night of to corporate asking for the extension . So after getting arrested at gun point and 20k bail I'm home and not happy. I have court mon and if this isn't resolved I am filling a civil lawsuit.

Your computer system is terrible for a large corporation. Difficult on both locations and I feel sorry for your employees. Nothing smoth about it and not sure why they have to use personal cell phones and tablets to conduct business!! Waited @least 1/2 hour on each location to finish contract.

We always do 5-6 day "local" rentals. Most times, I will get a call from a U-Haul rep days before to work out the pick-up and drop-off locations, since "local" truck designations are an oddity for U-Haul. The Saturday before our pickup date, I spent 20+ minutes on the phone with an excellent U-Haul rep getting this all set up and confirmed. However, and this happens MANY times, when we picked up the truck from the origination location, they were confused about how to return it and ended up sending us to a drop off location for the return 25+ miles from our originally promised spot. Yes, we were given "extra" mileage allowance to compensate for this; however, after wasting 30 minutes of my time before the rental with a rep, and then driving 45+ minutes to the final drop-off location, must change. U-haul's "system" of rentals and operations is efficient and amazing, but please coordinate how to handle "local" rentals better. Thank you.

Only issue is the Uhaul app. I have rented multiple times and each time I have incurred several issues with processing check in. Having to enter my credit card infoand ID with pictures during the reservation and check in is a waist of our time. Telling a renter that your rental is due 8 or more hours before its due as if we are past our time is annoying and concering that you have issues to deal with your settings. Calling the renter to inquire a day before to ask when your returning as if we needed to already is completely lacking in a positive customer experience.

The only suggestion I would have is to cut the curb by the door in the back of the building to the storage so that it has a ramp instead of curb for those that have to push the cart from the road or parking lot to the door.

The manager has some serious issues and loves to take her everyday life outside of work out on peopld that rent from this location, she needs a serious attitude adjustment.i don’t know anyone who would give a person like her a manager position. I stored my stuff there for two weeks after which was told to move my stuff out and that they no longer would rent to me all because someone tried to break into my storage, and I let them know that there was a issue after which the manager disappeared and then the fallowing day was asked to move out since they would no longer be renting to me. It’s not my fault someone tried to break into my unit, they are suppose to have security however I only saw security kne time and the staff could not care less about their jobs or keeping anything clean or secure. I pay to keep my belongings safe in a storage with security and even make sure to get s goid insurance plan since i know how things happen. So I don’t understsnd why I have to leave anc they didn’t even care ny unit was broken into. The key pads and swipe cards never work correctly for both the building, the bathroom? Or the unit, the doors are always open even after hours, and the lights never stay kn or come on when they are supposed to go. Needless to say my experience at this location was horrible and I will not ever refer them or return to this location.

Staff went above and beyond to help remove some questionable loiterers and it was much appreciated. My whole experience with U-HAUL was great, including the truck rental, storage unit and the app to track everything.

I have been talking to 2 different store managers with an issue I have had for several months about a storage payment that was messed up on their end and still hasn't been resolved. It's for $167.00 So since they are so incompetent I decided to just move out.

I have two issues, I wanted to pay in cash and not add cost to my card , now I have to call my bank and make arrangements for my monthly rental. I had to go to a return uhaul area approximately 20 miles and no one was there and it looked unsafe, also added additional cost.

Literally from the moment I walked in everything about this place screamed this is where I want to keep my belongings ! Climate Control, safety features up the wazoo, the staff impeccably experienced, courteous and overall fabulous experience during a tumultuous time. Moving sucks but everyone at U-Haul makes it okay thank you to everyone

I just wanted to take time to give CJ a 100 star review! This young man came to my rescue with helping me take the last few pieces of heavy items off the truck today, it was just me and my 13yr old granddaughter and I didn’t have a clue how we was gonna get this done but CJ didn’t say anything but just assisted me with the few items. I had asked God to send me the right person in my way into the location and that was CJ! Praise the most High God for this man! His kindness, love for other and his wonderful demeanor is the best I’ve encountered in a very long time. Thank you CJ for your your kindness with all my sincerity! God bless you💯❤️

I was stuck at the last minute having to get a storage unit through Uhaul as well, and even though it was the very end of the day the young gentleman at the counter was efficient in getting me what I needed. I apologize for being so late in the day, but being able to handle my moving needs quickly was a huge relief.

Communication between staff is horrible! My storage unit has been robbed and I didn’t know about it until I came to the unit! Homeless people stay around the property and nothing is done about it at all! Staff wasn’t helpful just said to make a police report! Then two weeks ago I was informed that they were no longer using the outside storage units and I had to relocate all my things to a storage unit nearby or use a storage box. Had they let me know sooner I would have made plans but given short notice they moved all my things to a u-storage box and didn’t even call me to let me know they had done it! I would 0/10 recommend this storage unit to anyone! If you want your unit constantly being ransacked and everytime you visit your lock is damaged due to someone attempting to pick it then this would definitely be the storage location for you!

I was there for hours trying to get the right storage number that was available, long line, staff was not knowledgeable or trained right, they gave me a card key that till this day doesn’t work right so the alarm sounds every time I access the storage because I don’t have the time or patience to stand in line another hour for them to try and fix it again.
