CONTESSA PThis is the second U-box I’ve used this month and the first one was metal. This second one was made of wood and covered with a waterproof Velcro cover. There was wood shavings all over my stuff when it arrived.

MARY BStaff was rude and unwilling to take the time to help check in. They as told to use the app. Uploading photos was inefficient. Vehicles parked to closely together to take proper photos. After expressing frustration the management at the site wasn’t helpful, unprofessional and rude. I’ll never use this location again

TOMISLAV MExcellent and friendly service. The gentleman who assisted me was courteous and friendly. My vehicle and trailer combo was ready and waiting for me so there was no waiting or hassle. One suggestion: When renting out a truck/trailer combination, proper operation of brake and signal lights on the trailer should be verified prior to the customer driving off. I noticed that my trailer had an inoperable brake/signal light, but I was able to quickly diagnose this as a loose wiring harness connection. Not a big deal, and overall service was fantastic.

LISA CTruck was clean, but the check engine light was on and I was able to complete my task. I am filing a BBB in CT complaint against Arianna L , I was charged a 2 gallon fee of $10.35. I brought the truck back with the correct amount of gas and she never said anything to me about it. I realized later when I got home from a long day of moving !! Hopefully she isn't doing this to other customers !!!!

MARQUITA HI always had good experience with the Naugatuck location up until the they got a new general manager of the store (Chevron S.) he started to harass customers and overcharge after the rentals are complete. He yells at customers and employees. And any time there is an issue with something he will tell you to call traffic and will not attempt to help resolve the issue.
AIDEN GGive late fest van when customers says they want to move in one shot. There were larger vans available.

MAICON RThe price. Uhaul price went up 3 times in 1 year. I started atc$178, then $205, then $258, then last month yall took $305. Im call better business bureau see if uhaul is over charging customers. I checked over uhauls for might storage size yours was way more expensive

XAVIER ATruck rented had a dangerous transmission issue which resulted in the truck revving up at any point in the drive, forcing me to put it in neutral to avoid an accident as the brakes could not hold back the thrust. I can only hope it was taken out of commission after telling the return person the serious problem. It also took way too long to check in. I had filled everything in advance yet it took like 20 min to print out the contract and give me the key.

Megan COne thing that needs to be addressed, I was bringing the gas gauge back up to 1/2 a tank and was watching the dashboard closely. When it reached the 1/2 mark I stopped pumping. When I reached the drop off location the tank read 3/4 of a tank. I didn't want to bring it back under the mark, but I certainty didn't want to fill it more than necessary. I understand Uhaul doesn't reimburse for over pumping but I think the "floater" was not calibrated correctly, or however they really works. Just something I felt was unfair to me when I did everything I was supposed to do and it went up a whole 1/4 tank than I was responsible for, lesson learned. Next time I'll be sure to stay under the mark. Other than that it was a great experience.

Alan MRight after I entered the facility the person working at this facility said that he is on the phone with his doctor and that I need to wait. After explaining to this person that what I needed to do was time sensitive this person said, and I quote “well you are just gonna have to wait”. 10 later another worker showed up. And what’s with this location taking customers photos even after I uploaded my drivers license they took a picture of my face just to confirm. Will not be using U-Haul again.

Lenin SI love the new Ram ProMasters you have there. They are so much easier to drive than the old panel vans and hold a lot more.
JOSHUA CFront desk was kind and courteous.. The cab to the truck I rented was dirty, potato chips, container lids were on the floor. Consoles were dusty and dirty.

JASON AHave a system that allows employees know when a customer is in the store and when vehicles are returned. When I walked in to rent a truck there was no employee anywhere inside the showroom. I waited for nearly 10 minutes for someone to finally come in to take care of me. The employee apologized but it was still an annoyance. Also, when I returned my truck the sign said to wait in the vehicle for someone to come out and I waited for about 5 minutes. When I went inside there was an employee relaxed in the chair behind the counter and on his phone. I used to work for UHaul and customer service was key. I'm having the impression that the company is beginning to lack in this area.
