GMC box truck died 2 miles from rental location. They brought a Ford replacement box truck which was a great exchange. .99 cents a mile is too much for any rental regardless of where you go I feel. Staff was very friendly. Everything is a fee or upgrade, and sometimes places that charge for every little thing make you feel like you're hoping they don't overextend a smile for fear that may cost you also.Christopher C.
They had a well marked awning for drop off. Pulled the truck in and were greeted by real person on a Sunday drop off. He checked the truck right then and made sure I knew there were no additional charges pending, as we had filled the tank and stayed under our mileage. More clear advertising and explanation of insurance and mileage rates etc. like Friday and Sat mileage is $.20 more than Sun - Thursday. And that the one insurance ($10) doesn't cover keys locked in or towing or roadside assistance but that is only $5 which is like $85 to have truck unlocked.Randy B.

The associate didn't tighten the hitch of my trailer--which I found out when I dropped it off. Luckily, I was totally fine, and the amount of weight I was pulling probably held it, but if your associates are going to be the ones putting the trailer ON the vehicle, they need to make VERY SURE it's secured. I didn't think I would have to check the work of a professional. Completely unsafe and unnecessary. On another note, none of the employees in the Newark Ohio location were wearing masks, nor did they encourage their customers to wear masks (two of which came in the store while I was there, wearing my mask). Given where we are in the pandemic, and the recommendations state-wide, I expect the safety of all your customers to be top of mind, which clearly it wasn't. I will never be returning to this location, and I will be recommending against it to my family in Granville/Utica and surrounding areas.Abigail L.

The trailer had brake lights and turning signals but NO tail lights. I didn't realize till I was halfway to Florida when several cars were blinking their lights and honking the horn at me. Also one of the tires had written on it WORN OUT. It had 3 new tires and that one bad one. Also which I didn't notice till I was halfway to Florida. The customer service in both locations was wonderful. It was just the equipment that was not up to par.Marsha P.
